Excellent hotel with good parking outside and great view!

Perfect location, right at the WILHELMSHÖHE schloss and the park with absolutely beautiful views. The staff was friendly. However for a 4 star hotel and the price our room and bathroom seemed small and outdated. Breakfast wasn’t great with slow service, long queue to coffee machine and rather stale baked goods. I guess it’s all about the location here but small improvements would create a great experience...

Excellent hotel! Smooth process at all levels. Plentiful buffet in the evening and in the morning. We had a great room, very clean, just the design of what is supposed to be a sink took a little getting used to. My recommendation: take advantage of the many offers and have a great time!

Great!!! Hotel, food, spa! I have rarely been to such a beautiful hotel. The quality is evident from the service to the food and high quality drinks. And all this is again crowned with a breathtaking environment. We will come again next year

Decent hotel, we stayed in their biggest suite which was like $600+ a night. I did like the suite and the huge deck was nice too but the decor was a little questionable at times. I didn't really mind that though, my biggest issue was the service. The staff was often rude or straight up condescending, especially during check-in. While their breakfast options weren't bad I expected more for $600+ a night

Hotel is in a nicely quiet spot in the city. Tram is right outside, easily get around the city. Grocery store around the corner is great. Rooms are a little small and warm but satisfied our needs. Wonderful European breakfast. Has a fitness room and sauna on the top floor. Great staff to help with anything you might need, thank you Irina!

Good food, nice staff. Wifi is an issue if ur room is at the end of a corridor...avoid room numbers ending xx16 . But besides that hotel is really fine.

Very good hotel. It doesn't look too pretty outside, but when you enter you will be surprised how beautiful it is. The room we had was very comfortable, if a little small. The bed was just right. The bathroom was spacious and had both the bath and a shower. There is a great restaurant in the hotel too. Book through the internet, as they have higher prices for people from the street.

Ok Hotel and price/quality is correct. Clean and OK standard, but no a/c in room so be prepared for a hot night during summertime. Hotel itself could have got 4 stars, but poor service and breakfast made me drop to 3 stars.

The food was delicious. We were served by two women, the first one wasn't friendly and didn't feel like serving us. After a while we got another employee. We felt much more comfortable with her because she knew something about service and friendliness. The selection of dishes was sufficient.

Very very beautiful hotel with unique rooms.

Cosy place to stay. Neat rooms, enough place and nicely dressed. Kind personel and good atmosphere. Just a few hundred meters to the city centre. Nice park in front of the hotel within 100 meters.

This place is marvelous. It may not have so amenities, but you are staying in a place that was constructed about the time of Columbus' journey. Has an amazing spiral staircase.

A hotel of stature. The staff is courteous, personable and flexible. Large rooms (about 22 square meters including bathroom) that are absolutely well-kept and CLEAN. The breakfast stands out from other hotels in this price range and you can taste it. Greetings to the chef!

Amazing hotel with very comfortable beds and spacious and modern rooms. Breakfast was top notch with salmon, dried tomatoes, egg and caviar salads etc. and smoothies. My only comment could be on cereal bar, it is quite simple and doesn't match with high quality of other products. It could be nice to include chia seeds, nuts, and few other kinds of musli and yogurt choices.

We stayed overnight on a long trip, so just one night but it was lovely, they were super-nice with our two young kids and put us at ease. We would love to come back again!

Very nice hotel. From Apple TV to spacy rooms or a smaller but very tasty breakfast. It is an example that you can create a nice experience when you understand the customer.

Best service and room (& Food) compared to all the hotels we stayed in during our two week roadtrip in Germany. Less pricey than the others and better quality, who can say no to that? They were also glad to talk English to us which is less common than you would think! The food was also fairly priced and really tasty, kinda hate to say it but.. best food experience for the price we had. So overall...

Nice rooms, great service and a breakfast buffet that I rarely eat on quality business trips.

Spacious comfortable rooms. Curtains create enough darkness in the mornings. There is a bit of noise coming from the street, but not too bad. Beds are comfortable, but the cushions are too soft, i strained my neck. Bathroom is comfortable. The spa and swimming pool is excellent! Breakfast is good during weekends, plenty of choice. very good hotel. The room is bright and comfortable. Breakfast buffet with a wide selection. Swimming pool and sauna are available for guests. The tram stop is just a few meters from the hotel and tickets are free for guests. We recommend . I will gladly come again!

Some how it was clean and the location was the special for this hotel. But the behaviour of staff in some cases were not friendly.

Nice Hotel. Breakfast always incl. in room charge. Breakfast on the bill mentioned with 4.80€. Perfect price for all people employed in Germany. Rooms are small and you should try to get a room located at the back of the building. Cobblestones on the road might bother your sleep.

Cosy and conveniently placed, rooms are spacious and clean, receptionists always smiling and willing to help.

The hotel was fine for a basic short stay. It seemed clean and reasonably priced. The gym and sauna at the time of visit were available for 1 hour blocks for one person, which was nice. Some of the staff were not so friendly. The food (salmon) was way overcooked but the breakfast was good. The underground parking was way too overpriced (€18 per day).

Small but conveniently located minutes away from the main train station. Good service, good breakfast, nice bar and a small but well equipped gym. The price/quality ratio is good. Unfortunately not a great place to be on hot days as there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

Great stay and good food. Underground parking a bit expensive at €18 (outch). Had an extra charge on my credit card after checkout and still haven’t figured out what for. Not good. Otherwise would have been 5*

Room was average for the money and the star rating I was expecting more is regards quality. It was a smoking room but needs some plug in or spray to help with the stale smoke smell. Comfortable beds and clean sheets.

Motel room is small but it is clean, have a lot of parking space, bed is good,pleasant receptionist. It's good for sleepover under a long drive.

Perfect motel for the long distance traveler. Arrived after midnight and found the reception staffed and food was available. Nice clean rooms, VERY comfortable beds and quiet surrounding despite relatively close to freeway.

Giving the hotel 5 Stars because everything in their control is as you would hope. Unfortunately at the time of our booking there was a lot of construction taking place in the area which removed access to the hotel and left them with no parking on the day hello is totally out of their control and obviously a great amount of Inconvenience for all the staff at the hotel as well as guests. Very friendly and helpful reception. I booked on the go while traveling therefore I wasn’t expecting much and instead I was amazed how nice was the room which was given to me on the 5th floor with outstanding terrace and view! I felt like I was in a small castle back in time! Thanks a lot and whenever I will be traveling around that area I for sure will book again here.

Very nice hotel. Spacious and super clean room but I didn't like the fact that one of my room neighbors hit the wall yelling at me because I was talking (not shouting) on the phone and he was probably trying to sleep. Hotel rooms are supposed to be hermetically closed once the door is shut.

The room was as expected and there is a good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was also good. Nothing to complain in general. When you stay there for business travel and you have to go to VW, it is even a faster drive distance as google says.

Late arrival, but the staff was friendly and efficient. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Some of the other clientele may have been a bit sketch, but quieted down by 2100 so not a problem. Pool and spa closed because of COVID. Hotel could use a little TLC from corporate to spiff things up a bit in the lobby and hallways but it was a refuge for a much needed rest from travel. Departed...

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Kurfurst Wilhelm 1 hotel. Super friendly staff! We stayed with two small children. We had more than enough space. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Breakfast had a nice selection and had warm croissants etc. Next visit will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel in a kind of old style, my room was quite large as well as the bathroom. Some maintenance would be nice but everything is working fine. The position, just outside the train station, is perfect for travelers. I've found some good restaurant very code to the hotel, the hotel restaurant is not bad but eventually for a quick dinner.

Not modern, but good. It still has a lot of 50s interior. If you like that kind of stuff you should visit. Pretty much in the centre of Kassel. Parking might be an issue. Only payed on public parking place.
