Definitely worth the price. We loved the food, room and the stunning view. Awesome spa offer. But we were not impressed by the reception work. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. We were not greeted by hand even though all the other guests were. Not a good first impression...

Sunbathing in an Alpen meadow. Like the beach but with mountains. We love this place. If you are a fan of sauna, pool, relaxing and a good bar then it is truly worth a stay. Great place to relax for a few days or more. Dog friendly so you can bring the pooch...

We are regular guests at the hotel and always feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, the food is of high quality and the choice of food is creative. The rooms are nice and clean. The indoor pool is a real highlight for us. Gladly again 😊

Beautiful, luxurious, yet very pleasant hotel. Beautiful location with views of the mountains all around. Starting point for many walks or, as now in winter, cross-country trails. Very friendly staff, excellent cuisine. Nice spa/wellness. Pets no problem.

Neat Bavarian food with wonderful views of the Karwendel to the terrace, I am never coming over without a stop in the Gasthof Barmsee.

You beautiful surroundings is well known. But Ms. Holzer, the owner of the Bavaria guest house and holiday apartment, is the best thing that can happen to you. Totally nice, friendly and open. Super clean and a varied and plentiful breakfast. Value for money absolutely top. Always happy and actually 6 stars.

We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Perfect, varied breakfast, super nice hostess and the location of the accommodation is ideal for excursions and hikes or just to linger and enjoy. . Unreserved recommendation!!!

Everything is top notch, the hostess is very friendly and personal. Breakfast is delicious and get something different every day. Only complaint is that the bed in a single room is not very long and there is no shower in the room.

The hotel was good with a balcony giving a beautiful view on the mountains. At arrival a booklet was received with many walking trails, several ware easy to reach walking from the hotel. Many others could be reached by car or by bus with short distances. A daily diner was available for 5 out of 7 days for guests of the hotel only, with very reasonable prices.

We have not been guests in the hotel ourselves yet, but we wanted to give our friends visiting there a spontaneous pleasure in the form of a free drink and the hotel owner made it very easy for us and not only made it possible for our friends to surprise us still beautifully decorated. This is the second time we stayed there. A very nice base for visiting the region. The room was very clean, the breakfast wonderful, and the owner was very friendly and spoke good English. The dinner was also excellent.

Great hotel, unique hosts, the breakfast and dinner are a hit, nature right outside the door, a fantastic view of the mountains, dogs are ♥ lich welcome, pure peace. The hosts run their house with heart. We are excited.

We were there to meet friends for dinner. The food was fabulous. Our friends are hikers and had purchased a 10 day package with meals and their room and other amenities. Beautiful, clean, friendly. We will return for a long stay.

Excellent place, great staff, amenities were clean and very pleasant. Staff worked with us and even printed English menus to accommodate with us with out us asking. Great place to hike and bike. Small town very little open Saturday and Sunday.

Very cozy, very cute. Wonderful and welcoming staff. The bedrooms smell like pinewood and the Spa was very clean and well equipped. The food was okay, seems like a lot for the price.

Beautiful hotel, spa and pool were amazing, rooms very good (only complaint was a small shower and pillows too soft) lovely views from the balcony. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. The lift is a work of art 👍

We stayed in 5 different hotels on our 10day walking holiday in the Bavarian Alps & this was the absolute highlight. Service (especially on the front desk) was outstanding, the rooms incredibly comfortable & the food was exceptional. We are looking forward to returning one day!
