Ok to stay a night if passing through. In my previous stay I enjoyed it especially the breakfast. This time around not so much. Looks like the breakfast was reduced maybe due to corona. Stayed here now 4 nights and was a little disappointed. Also the evening dinner buffet is not good. I recommend going out to another location.

Nice view if you are on top. Breakfast is very divers. Dinner is very disappointing. The area is very nice and the hotel had a beautiful garden. A lot of parking space. Rooms are ok.

"Bock" is now called Ariston and is a Greek restaurant. The reception was friendly and accommodating. The food was brought out relatively quickly and very good. In terms of price, it is a bit higher than the other Greeks in our corner, but absolutely within the framework in terms of performance. We would love to come back.

Now it's called Hotel Ariston! Very good restaurant, good breakfast. The rooms were clean and in order, no minibar available but a matter of taste;). Staff was friendly and courteous. Public parking spaces (free on weekends) in front of the house, close to the center.

In new hands for a few weeks (Greek cuisine). Same owner as the Syrtaki in Koblenz, and just as good, or even better, because when the weather is nice you sit better in the garden than in Koblenz on the street. The quality of the food and the staff are just as good as in Koblenz

Good hotel, with simple but clean rooms. Breakfast was ok, dinner was great. As I heard, however, we were the last guests, as the hotel was sold on 01/01/2020. I cannot say what will become of it.

New, very good service. Attaches importance to improvement and speaks to the guest about this. Pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant / bar with appealing music.

So far we have been there twice: Dinner with 4 people - everyone was very satisfied with the food and drinks. Breakfast with 2 people - we had a very rich breakfast / brunch, designated for 2 - 3 people at a price of 29.90 € plus drinks. Very nicely presented! The eye eats too ;-) A fourth person would have been fed up with it, but there were only two of us. Perhaps this breakfast should be reduced...

The quality of the food was very good and it tasted delicious. The waiting time and for food and drinks was unfortunately a little longer due to the lack of staff, but this was made up for by the extreme friendliness. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again.

A fantastic family run hotel, very friendly owners and staff. If we are going to the Rhine Valley we only go if there are rooms available here. The junior suites are great, very comfortable and spacious, room 404 is our favourite. Breakfast is more than ample. Quite simply, we love staying here.

Hotel and facilities are good. The reception is very friendly. My room had no air conditioning, so I had to open the window. The train is passing next to the Hotel, so it is very noisy. I woke up at 03:00 and could not sleep again.

Breakfast was extraordinary good - never had so much variety, freshness and nice arrangement! Rooms are nicely furnished and spacious. Nice garden with enviting chairs and corners.

A nice, tastefully decorated hotel. We didn't expect it on our bike tour. You can stay longer there.

Spotlessly clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived early and hungry. Our host showed us straight to our room and set up a lovely breakfast in the dining room. We were able to take a nap and wake up at noon, rested after our long journey from the USA. I would recommend this hotel.

It's ok for one night, unfortunately we didn't have a TV in the room and the water pressure (warm water) in the shower was hardly available... Room furnishings weren't the newest but ok. Landlady and staff were very polite.

Central location, pleasant atmosphere and good price-performance ratio. Stay was pleasant and I would book it again for a short holiday.

Rooms are very small. Sink and shower had severe drainage issue. No elevator. Breakfast options are limited. Free parking.

I worked at the hotel in 1990, owned by Jurgen back then. Hopefully the same great hotel today. I have very fond memories of this hotel and it's sister hotel in Bad Salzig.

Very nice german beer garden. Located directly near the Rhine. Prices aren't cheap, but I would definitely visit this place again, because it is quite nice.

Only stayed one night and didn't have time to explore the area but thought it a lovely place set in the country. With lots of hiking trails on the doorstep. Indoor and outdoor eating good food and excellent breakfast. We stayed in the main building but there were several very nice chalets in the grounds. Would recommend this place and will definitely return next year.

Traditional German restaurant. There was a senior party so was full and quite noisy. Food was slightly salty.

Nice for a weekend of wandering. Wife and I stayed in a little cottage that was clean and well kept up. Dinner was great. One of the best Steaks my wife has had... ok she doesn’t usually eat steak so not a lot to compare it to 😎. Staff could be a little more friendly but overall nice place. All activities stop at 22:00! Bar, restaurant.. everything 22:00 is Feierabend!

Had a great night here! The rooms were clean, and the diner was delicious! Am morning, the breakfast wasn't too big, which was fine, since you don't need more than they have. They had multiple types of bread and things to put on top of it. Definitly worth revisiting!

Myself, my boyfriend and our puppy had such a lovely stay here in August! I must admit the pictures are a little misleading however the staff really went above and beyond for us. We stayed one night while passing through and our puppy is not so great at being left alone yet... the morning staff allowed us to sit in our own section of the restaurant in the morning so we could eat breakfast and bring...

Really nice and chilled place. They even got a piano you can play on! Unfortunately I didn't have the time to visit the restaurant, but looks like a place where you can eat good food! The beds are very comfortable and if you like to take a walk, the Rhein River is just about 15 min down the hill.

The hotel was nice and cozy in a calm location. The personnel do not speak almost at all English but they are friendly and patient so the language was not a barrier. The food was excellent in the dinner and the breakfast was generous and tasty. I will definitely go back.

Great Hotel, clean rooms, and delicious dining in the Hotel's own Restaurant. The audience is mixed by me twenty up to old age. There is a small outdoor Pool is very well maintained and like. Everything is good but the Internet in such rooms does not work perfectly, but it works. In the last room I had Funny only hot water in the Toilet.... In any case, beautiful hotel and very good Breakfast!!

Very cozy Hotel with a rustic rural style. I felt very comfortable here. Very nice Service.....regardless of whether at the time of Check in or in the Restaurant. Every single employee was friendly and courteous. Of course, a big compliment to the kitchen. Very very tasty Regional cuisine. On my next business trip it is me again here

Stayed here a few months ago the personel were very helpfull and kind, and the rooms are clean. And the food was great!

The staff was very kind and helpful. We got there and the rooms weren't ready, but the 15 minute wait was no big deal. In the rush to clean them, one of the rooms was missing soap (did not bother us, as we only stayed one night). Beds and blankets were all very comfortable, the room felt updated and cozy, the breakfast was DELICIOUS and the coffee was good. My only negative is that there was a smell...

The owner is really kind, he had waited for us until very late at night, welcomed us with free wine and free sanduwiches! The rooms were very clean, organized, bathroom were recently renovated, the hotel is located in a nice area with a lot of green around and a parking place just in front of the rooms.

Let us check in early to our room. Free parking on the premises. Changed our room reservation free of charge to allow us to each have our own bed rather than sharing. Rooms were very clean and had lock on the door. Wifi was not the best in our room, however. Ate at the restaurant at night and it was delicious. Try the schnitzel! Free breakfast in the morning. We stopped here as a rest from hiking. Nice setting. We sat outside next to the fish pond. They also have a wild animal zoo. We had an ice cream. Service was ok, the ice cream was a bit on the expensive side.

Nicely located,with the animal Park.Invites you to stay. "Only" to eat there. Hunsrücker roast wild boar with potato croquettes,forest mushrooms,Preissellbeersahne and red cabbage(extra shell). As a Starter, a tomato soup with Cream and Basil. Both were class! The waiter who served us,was friendly and courteous. Then I took over the farm shop also fresh deer meat.

Super location in the middle of the forest, ideal for families and sports enthusiasts. The forest hotel has different room categories, from the small but fine single and double rooms to suites in the annexe a few meters from the Restaurant. The food is good with a small but varied menu and seasonal dishes. The only thing the sometimes poor Wi-Fi reception is a bit annoying in certain rooms.

We've been there only for the night but the room was welcoming with water and some candy on arrival, quite spacious and neat looking. The beds where perfect. If I go to Koblenz I will go back to this hotel

Room was quite small but for one night stay was more than enough. Breakfast was delicious. If you decide to park in hotel parking there is limited space there and the entrance is 1.9m high.

The photos I've seen before scared me somehow everything looked really old. But when we got there everything was much better. The rooms and especially the bathroom were clean and just renovated. The stuff was friendly and we got breakfast after 10am(usually it's just till 10). Also I really liked the beds they really comfortable.

Small, but very nice hotel. Location is fantastic! I've not been even aware once I made booking that the hotel is just at the bank of the river. The morning surprise was great - as the breakfast room has large, panoramic windows for the river.

Breakfast was good with plenty of variety and top quality eggs ! The location of the hotel is also excellent with spectacular views over the Rhine with the complete city of Koblenz spread out below - all to be seen from most rooms and the restaurant/breakfast room.The drive into the Old Town only took 12mins at 8-30 in the morning.

It's surprising that you have to request room cleaning, and even then, the service was subpar. However, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

Business hotel with very little in the way of atmosphere. Bathroom is clean, room is ok. But could use an interior decorator. Staff was not able to charge room on the creditcard provided by the company that booked my room, which was odd.

An really nice hotel directly at the central station of Koblenz. The service is kind and they try to help you wherever they can. The rooms are clean and very silent. Perfect when you wanna relax and you don't like noise.

Bike friendly hotel with recently refurbished rooms, very reasonable for the price, nesspresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Large locked storeroom for bikes was a big help

Sanitary plant but with some "defects". Here are some things should be under continuous observation. No toilet paper, no paper towels, etc.

The rooms are top. Everything new, chic and delicious. A very friendly reception. The "eggplant" is next door is a Must.

Great location next to the river. If you are interested in an 8km walk or run then you are directly next to the water and can walk or run along the river path to the railway bridge (about 3 km from the hotel) and then cross over onto the other side of the river and head back on the other side for 3km then back over on the road bridge which brings you directly back to the Hotel. Your standard Mercure experience. Clean rooms and they were quiet as well. The location was very average and the elevators do not work well making some folks nervous. Great views of the river and city from the rooms depending on which side you are on.

Nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hard to get used to not having a top sheet on the bed! No face cloths in the bathroom. Restaurant buffet for dinner wasn't great. Very bland generic food. As my first night in Germany was hoping for some more traditional food, not bland pasta and watery sauces along with basic salad bar and a few other choices.

Convenient, easy access to most public transports. Foods and drinks are just a walk way. Very nice view & place to stay for a very short visit.

I had to advance and pay in cash, because the card Terminal was broken. The Elevator to the room was the smallest and probably the oldest I've ever used. The room was simply furnished. The Breakfast was just OK. Scrambled eggs cold, bread had to be made up from the bakery (but tasty) and I only had half a Cup of coffee because the container was empty.

My experience has been very positive. I'm always taken on a very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the in the house connected to the Restaurant I can only recommend. So, if I'm in NRW, professional appointments, I'm going to stay here. The room was very clean. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was simple but good and only costs € 5 per day., WIFI great .The location of the hotel was great, only 1minutes from the main station and couple of minutes walking to the Rhine and from there a short walk to the old city, Value for money perfect

Wonderful hosts and nice rooms. Basic rooms good for business travel, but sleeping with the windows open results in early waking with all the street noise.

The hotel is very clean and the staff nice and always willing to help you. Their parking spot was very crowded but they took your car to the parking place a couple of streets away and they bring it back when you requested. The only minus is that they don't have a mini fridge in the room.

We had an amazing stay at the Brenner. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating and made you feel like a valued guest. The room itself was far beyond what I could have imagined. Spacious, modern, well-maintained with a huge bathroom and a balcony looking out to Rizzastraße. The hotel itself is a few minutes walk from the train station, and the team at the Brenner are more than happy to recommend...

Very comfortable beds, breakfast was a touch above the norm for this kind of hotel, with homemade jams and such. Beautiful little garden. Not to far away from city centre and close to the railway station.

For what matters most to me in a hotel: Great room, great mattress, outstanding breakfast. I booked a shared bathroom room, bathroom was pristine both late afternoon upon check-in and in the morning. A++, would go again

We had a huge room... in the basement. I didn't actually mind that, but we weren't informed of it. The breakfast was pretty big and well stocked. The price was fair. They had a bike room where you could hang up clothes. Friendly staff. No complaints.

Good Price-Performance Ratio. Rooms are simple but modern, mattresses too soft, only one shared shower for 2 floors => in the morning, a long time, the walls of the waiting is very noisy. Breakfast, which was not included in the price was good. Else the room was as tidy as it was tiny. No extras whatsoever, no mini bar, no safe, not even a nessecaire, toothbrush or anything. Ok for the night but all in all not worth the price. Others while cheaper offer better quality, but we're already booked out. It's obvious why.

Right in the Centre. Five minutes walk to the old city. Clean, friendly staff and a good buffet. Next time I'm in Koblenz I will happily stay here again!

I check in at this early Jun 2018 while touring Europe on my bicycle. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the historic areas and near the bicycle trail that runs along the Rhine. Hotel receptionist lady was very helpful and professional. Very clean and organized bed rooms. I was able to storage my bicycle in the luggage room at no additional cost. Great breakfast. Love the room with view...

The room was extremely nice, and the breakfast they have in the morning was very good compared to other hotels.

Historic building in a beautiful area. It was quite loud, but they supplied earplugs in the bathroom. It didn't help there was a Euro Cup game that night, in addition to heavy construction outside our room. The service and breakfast were both fantastic.

We had a great room with a really nice view. The room size was really good and it even offered a balcony looking out onto the river and the fortress Ehrenbreitstein. Especially at night the view was lovely. The room was clean. There was a good variety at the breakfast buffet. The only negative was that their car park was too small and was completely occupied. We were the second year to the Koblenz summer, I like the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean . This year we have taken a room with a balcony , our view really enjoyed. I can only Recommend it.

Inexpensive, especially when you take into account the impact of the other Hotels partly for the river view request. Beautiful room with well-kept flowers on the balcony. Food is good, reception is good. Early PCs support 1x good, 1x is not just a one-Day ( Monday).
