Hotel Morjan enjoys an unbeatable location right next to the Rhine River, offering breathtaking views of the fortress—truly one of the highlights of our stay. Waking up to such a stunning panorama from the balcony, with a glass of wine in hand in the evenings, made for a memorable experience.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the addition of a private balcony was a lovely touch. The bed was cozy, though the mattress felt a bit small for my preference. The bathroom, while clean and well-maintained, had a very compact shower area that might feel a bit tight for some guests.
While we didn’t try the breakfast, the dining area seemed quite busy each morning, suggesting it’s a popular option.
Parking was one of the bigger challenges—spaces are very limited and quite narrow. We were fortunate to find a spot and chose not to use the car during our stay.
Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable visit with just a few minor areas that could be improved. If you're looking for a peaceful riverside stay with incredible views in Koblenz, Hotel Morjan is definitely worth considering.

Secure bicycle parking at side of hotel. Wonderful balcony overlooking the Rhine. This was the 15th hotel of our cycle tour through Benelux and the Mosel and it had the best breakfast of the lot (and they were all pretty good)!

Bonus star for location - walkable and right along the river - but that was the only good thing in our opinion. We luckily were able to get a parking spot at the hotel, it's a tight lot shared with many businesses, and no ability to reserve a parking spot for your stay. The room we stayed in was TINY, much smaller than we expected. I'm not sure if they're all similarly sized, but would not recommend for anyone over 5'8". Also no AC, which usually is fine but the entire hotel was SO hot, even with our windows wide open it would just not cool down. Tons of poorly insulated windows with massive solar heat gain. The bathroom smelled very strongly of mildew, none was visible but likely in the walls. Unfortunately, not what we had expected and would look to stay elsewhere next time, even if a bit further from the riverfront.

The breakfast menu is OK but the lady working there is about the most unfriendly person you can encounter that early in the morning.

Great place with great breakfast. City centre is 5 mins walking. Do not miss to book the botel with sea view.

We were the second year to the Koblenz summer, I like the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean . This year we have taken a room with a balcony , our view really enjoyed. I can only Recommend it.

We had a double room with a balcony and views of the water. The view is great! Here, you can let the soul dangle.
Only the staff could be a little nicer and more accommodating. As a guest you get what you wish, but you must go to the staff and the information and help ask for it.
The Breakfast was somewhat meager but sufficient.
The rooms are very clean, the beds were clean and hygienic.
The city centre as well as the water and a beautiful little Park can be reached in a few minutes.
For a short break in the Rain again, the Hotel is a super choice. You want to be a luxury vacation and operated, you should look for a different Hotel.
