Rooms and hotel overall look sort of run down. The terrace had holes in the woodplanks, couch was absolutely worn down.

Technically they can classify as a five star hotel - they have a spa, gym, etc. But the five star experience is not there.

- Starting with breakfast - the selection is mediocre and not everything is fresh. How hard is it to arrange fresh orange juice for example? Almost no selection of sweet pastries either, while they have a patisserie restaurant. Two chefs in the restaurant and all they can cook is an egg. 7 minutes boiled egg is in reality a hard-cooked egg. I could go on and on… you can do a lot better than this @ management park bremen hotel.
- The location is good. Nice park to walk around and decent outside view from the (clean and decent-quality) rooms.
- the gym is on the bigger side compared to other 5* hotel gyms. Spa is decent too, they have a heated outdoor pool which is pretty neat.
- An important one for all hotels but especially for 5* : staff experience . In the evening there are a lot of younger inexperienced waiters and bartenders walking around. You pay premium prices for a cocktail, but don’t get what you might expect from the kind of money you put down. To me it was obvious that the bartender that served me barely had any experience making cocktails. He poured three drinks together and put in some ice cubes. 5* unworthy. It also took them (there were two bartenders behind the bar) 15 minutes to make while there were barely any other guests.

Overall, I would not recommend coming here. There are way better 5* options out there. Hopefully they can take some pointers from this review since some of them are easy to fix. However, going by the reactions of the Guest Relation manager to reviews with negative feedback in it, I expect a standard reply of ‘we would like to hear first-hand’ and ‘hope to convince you in the future’, so I doubt anything will be done with feedback.
