Nestled in Bremen’s scenic Bürgerpark, Parkhotel Bremen is a distinguished five-star retreat that blends historic charm with modern luxury. Established in 1872 as an excursion restaurant by the Hollersee, it has since evolved into an elegant landmark, now part of the Hommage Hotels Luxury Collection under the German Dorint Group. The hotel features 172 rooms and suites, offering stunning views of the Bürgerpark or Hollersee.
During my stay, I enjoyed the Lakeside Suite, a lavish Superior Suite with breathtaking lake views. This spacious retreat includes a combined dining and living area, a separate bedroom, marble bathroom, walk-in closet, guest toilet, and two balconies—one furnished for serene outdoor relaxation. A warm welcome awaited me with fresh fruit, indulgent macarons, banana cake, and champagne, a testament to the hotel’s impeccable hospitality. Suite guests receive a fruit basket and a complimentary bottle of water per stay. Inside, modern amenities include two flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, a king-size bed, a seating area, work desk, Nespresso machine, minibar, and a tablet with hotel details. The marble bathroom boasts a rain shower, separate bathtub, double washbasin, towel warmer, and premium Grown Alchemist toiletries.
Each morning, breakfast is served in a refined space designed by Count Ennio Graf Pilati. The buffet offers a curated selection of high-quality local products, including sliced meats, cheeses, smoked fish, jams, cereals, yogurts, fresh pastries, and artisanal bread rolls. Guests can order hot egg dishes and pancakes from a live cooking station, with service that is friendly, professional, and attentive. For fine dining, the Park Restaurant presents a sophisticated menu inspired by regional and Mediterranean influences, complemented by a selection of fine wines and scenic Bürgerpark views. The Restaurant Kuppelhalle offers international classics in an elegant setting, while the in-house Pâtisserie tempts guests with handmade cakes, pastries, and pralines—perfect for an indulgent afternoon treat. In summer, the terrace provides a tranquil escape, serving seasonal dishes with picturesque views of the Hollersee. For relaxation, the Parkhotel Bar & Smokers Lounge La Fumadora offers exquisite cocktails, fine spirits, and premium cigars in an elegant setting with live piano music on select evenings. Meanwhile, SPA'RKS, the hotel’s expansive wellness oasis, features a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool in the World of Water, diverse steam baths and saunas in the World of Sauna, modern training facilities in the World of Fitness, and rejuvenating treatments in SPA'RKS Beauty. Guests can enjoy personalized fitness sessions and daily classes, including yoga and Pilates. Everything was perfect! The room was extremely clean, the property beautifully maintained, and the staff incredibly friendly. I ll definitely be back—next time in summer, as the cold made it hard to fully enjoy.

The swimming pool is kept at a constant temperature all year round, and the sauna is also great, providing a very good experience.

The hotel is great, with complete facilities. I booked a lake view room, and the lake view is outside the window, which is great! The breakfast is also very rich. It is also close to the city center, and it is convenient to go to nearby attractions such as Bremen Central Square and Town Hall

This is definitely one of the best family-friendly hotels in Bremen. The service is super nice. Although Germans are serious, the service is really excellent. The guy at the front desk took the initiative to ask if we need a baby cot. The only problem is the antique hardware. The knobs for the washbasin and bathtub are not very responsive.
