Very nice welcome, great room with great view. Sunday on Ems Island breakfast was good and great. Good start to the Second Coming. Atmosphere and surroundings nice and quiet as described. Really switch off and relax. That's how it should be. I look forward to next time. Many thanks

Stayed overnight at the Hotel Am Wasserfall in Lingen during a business trip. The hotel is in a great location right on the cape in the center of Ems. The hotel looks neat and tidy, there is ample parking, and it is free. The reception and service staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast and service in the restaurant were above average, the food was tasty and fresh. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The furniture was in good condition and the bathroom was quite large, which was nice. The hotel has a sauna, a small pool and a gym, where you can relax after work. Conclusion: The hotel is in an exceptional location with a good restaurant. Also a good place to go on holiday.

A really nice place. A very pleasant stay! Friendly, professional, and helpful service, the breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel's location is somewhat charming—a community-like hotel? A accessible hotel. The rooms are slightly old, lacking air conditioning, a safe, or a fridge, but still cozy. Free parking. The Spa is nice.

I'm visiting Lingen every year in march and last 5 years I'm using the Hotel am Wasserfall. A very nice hotel on a very special place. The Wehr (waterfall) is making some noise, but it is a nice noice of falling water. There is a lot of nature around and you can make very nice, long and interesting walks through the neighborhood. The hotel has a brand new breakfast room, very nice, clean and modern. The rooms are okay, my were everytime clean, tidy and fully equipped.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms literally at the end of the road so there is no through traffic and very quiet.
The hotel is next to a dam with a waterfall in the river Ems
The hotel has a wellness area in the basement and a large restaurant with outdoor seating too
Nearby is a large camping and in front of the hotel is an e-bike charging station
The breakfast buffet was nice

very friendly staff,
menu had good options for everybody, food tasty and good value
also enjoyed the breakfast
really lovely location on the water edge!! Outdoor eating and bar area, restaurant ems-island and breakfast area inside all modern, varied, interesting, tasteful and actually special - with the right weather it was really lovely there.
Also the pool is nice and actually a "proper" pool, long enough to do several strokes. Sauna etc looked good but no time to try

The location was great and the hotel looked amazing. Our room was lovely and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was great. We returned to the hotel on our return journey because we liked it so much.

I did not succeed in contacting Booking.com on any channel (app, call, message) for reducing the staying with one night and the personnel at the hotel was not helpful at all - zero custumer experience as they did not come with any solution, including the manager that this problem was escalated to. So, I had to pay even for one night that I did not stay in the hotel.
Breakfast area not clean, very sticky floor, not just on one morning.
Personnel at the reception and in the breakfast area not friendly and helpful at all; simple repeated requests were met with unfriendly refusals (like the possibility to get one bottle of water at a table for 3 persons).
Room very small and with old furnishing.
Noisy guests in the sauna area, and no personnel to supervise this area, incl. for cleaning or towel shortage.

The hotel surroundings with the nature and river (however it is located right next to a nuclear power plant).
The available sauna.
