Where to stay in Ludwigsburg

Very friendly and helpful service. Situated just outside of Ludwigsberg in Germany in a quiet green area. Great afternoon tea!

Classy and contemporary. Beautiful golf course and a friendly staff. Brooks was very accommodating to a boisterous group of Americans when he didn't have to be. That is great service!

Great hotel, the service was really good, the breakfast was nice, there was a wild variety of different types of food to choose from. Around the park is quite beautiful, there is a lake that you can take long walks by, feed and watch the ducks, swans and geese. Amazing.

I ordered a room through hotels.com and when I arrived for check-in they somehow got All my info wrong, along with my first name. I fixed the info, got my room. No problems from there on yet. The room is great.

Very clean and tidy. Friendly personal! The Buffet was nice too but everybody should be able to take it themselves rather than getting a small plate from the chef. This way you need to go 3 times and it takes a long time until all meals are handed out. But besides that this is a really beautiful hotel! The food was really good too!

The staff was kind, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is conveniently next to the bus and railway stations, and close to the shopping streets. And the breakfast buffet was excellent!

I stayed here with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The staff at HARBR were always willing to accommodate our requests, whether that was different pillows for a better night rest, gluten-free bread for breakfast, they were a wonderful group of staff. we also really appreciated all of the books and colouring pages in the front lobby as well as the extra kid beds!

The hotel is still quite modern (it's only a few years old) and in very good shape. It's located near the central train station and easily accessible. There's a (paid) parking garage but there are also parking opportunities directly in the road leading to the hotel that have less expensive parking prices (and are free on nights and Sundays). The rooms are not big but clean, everything works well ...

I stayed here for 2 weeks, the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was good, and in the evenings we could have a drink at the hotel's bar. Very nice staff. You can find parking spots near the hotel, I paid cca 2 euros from 5:30pm to 8:30 am the next day. On Sundays it's free. Very nice stay, I recommend.

Great hotel for short stays. Location is close to shops and restaurants and the old town is an easy walk. The hotel has a nice bar and reception area where a good buffet breakfast is served. Staff are all very helpful. Rooms vary, we had a room which had adequate storage a big double bed and a small table. Also a chair for reading. My only comment would be the room wasn’t huge like most rooms in Europe...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the reception staff very friendly and competent. The rooms are, like the whole hotel, very clean and stylish. We would come back anytime.

I loved this hotel: located at walking distance from the centre and castle, clean comfortable rooms, great breakfast with choices as you wish, and really welcoming owners. Highly recommended!

The hotel has earned its 3 stars. However, we have 5 stars for the incredibly honest hospitality. We were very lucky, although garni a kitchen recommendation from the head of the house and were able to experience what cooking skills are available. Our palate was spoiled by a cross-fried, juicy sea bream with a refreshing farmer's salad. But then the hammer came! A homemade tiramisu from the landlady...

Super nice family run hotel. In the heart of Ludwigsburg, but still not exactly in the city center. Everything accessible on foot or by bike, nice breakfast and great care. Price / performance absolutely top. Gladly again.

I had to book a room last minute, so I was really thankful for the 24/7 reception. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The bed was really good and I loved the pillows. I was allowed to bring my teddy Yorkshire dog. Didn't had breakfast, can't judge. But would definitely recommend this hotel

Staff is pleasant and speaks English quite well. Rooms are on the smaller side but cozy enough. Room was very clean, there is free WiFi and tv with german channels. It also has a safe and a nice view of a city (at least from my room on 9th floor). Breakfast is ok but don't expect anything fancy, just eggs without bacon, cereals, fruit and fresh croissants. Coffee is terrible like in most german hotels...

Good hotel with clean rooms. Wifi is miserably slow though, although it may be due to room location. However having said that, that should not be an excuse too.

Service is nice. Coming from the US, the differences: now lunch/dinner but breakfast is great! Rooms are small but very nice. Not bad things, just things to know. People are nice and the area is great. Can walk anywhere you need it take the train across the street. Tons of shops around as well.

Solid quality business birel. Only letdown is laminate flooring which transmits sound to lower floors. Staff and facilities are good.and it is located well t.for transport restaurants and shops

Parking garage below the hotel. The hotel is a little out of town but the location is quiet and the breakfast was very nice! The restaurant there looked fancy, so we went across the street to the Gasthaus Rössle and it was a very pub like environment. Great staff

Gorgeous hotel ran by a family located in a quiet town outside the city. Room views have a wonderful view of both old and modern architecture. Parking garage is perfect for smaller vehicles and the breakfast was delicious. Thankyou for the great stay!

We had a good night in comfortable beds. However housekeeping came in on the day of our departure before the required checkout time and despite a do not disturb sign - without even knocking. And while the room was clean otherwise, we had a horrid smell in the bathroom until we flushed a both the syphons with some water (shower, bathtub) - not sure which of the ones had fallen dry.

The Goldner Pflug (golden plow) is a fabulous place to stay! By far the best hotel we have stayed in in Germany. Rooms are large.; beds are very comfortable; and the shower is fantastic. We have only had breakfast here so far but the selection is wonderful. I will try and post something after we experience the menu in the restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We even had a few laughs....

Very average hotel. Stayed for 1 night and honestly was very eager to leave since arriving and seeing the room. Pros: - Pool was very nice - Sauna (didn't use but looked nice) - Front desk service, very nice Cons - Cleanliness was lacking within the room - Carpeted rooms, trapped smells & really didn't help air quality - Ventilation in room was lacking. Air was extremely stale despite windows open...

I lodged at the hotel for a total of 12 nights during my observership at OKM. The single-bed room was both spacious and impeccably clean, situated in a tranquil area conducive to undisturbed sleep. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast buffet was so fancy, the rooms were clean, and the pool was awesome! We felt like we had our own private pool because no one else was using it. The pool was open till 10pm too. The wifi worked well, the rooms were clean, we hardly wanted to leave.

5- stars for this beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, with amazing lighting, fast wifi, and a smart TV. I liked the all-natural toiletries, too. The sauna and pool area were relaxing and open until 2200.

We booked one night in this hotel and found out it has a Michelin star. Nice room and silent accommodation. We wanted to see what the restaurant got to offer even though we already had dinner. We had two starter courses and a dessert. I'm not much of a fan of 'splatter dishes' but my wife loves it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Even a simple eggplant dip was a big treat for my taste buds....

Hotel was ok for a stop-over. I would not pay more than €60 for this place. Almost feels like a prison. The pillow was to small and the bathroom was in the middle of the room. Decent location

The location and services are good. But I gave 3 stars because the bedsheet was not so clean and I feel itchy after laying myself on the bed. After that night, my neck was still itching. I have been staying the whole week in other hotels and I don't have this problem at all.

You get what you pay for. Sturdy rooms for individuals or close friends (toilets not lockable, shower visible from the bed) on a budget. But the beds are comfortable (and on the hard side), the rooms clean and the staff friendly.

Very close to the station. A bit weird witht the shower and bed in the same room, only.a curtain between. Otherwise a good place to stay.

My stay at the hotel was a great pleasure. It's all I needed. In fact... I don't have much to add to the picture I'm adjusting to this. It's the record I've left in their guest book. It's a straightforward Best Western that is what you need when you're on business. Things are clean, however only OK because it's not the most personable. A good place though.

Very clean and tidy hotel nicely decorated and very well maintained. Great breakfast selection, cappuccino and espressos are all part of the hotel fee. Kitchen made scrambled eggs and sausage for me, excellent service and 5 minutes from beautiful downtown Ludwigsburg. Lovely stay.

New and nicely designed hotel and rooms, lots of wood and concrete. Also I appreciate the modern rooms. I checked in late through the computer without any issues. internet was good, paid parking across the street. unfortunately no time to to enjoy the breakfast

5 min walk from the chateau, and we parked our car in the parking which was in the shopping mall. Therefore we did not worry about the parking at the chateau. Room was very clean and functional.

I rarely feel in need of giving a hearty review but this place certainly deserves it. When you are coming here you can rely on the guarentee of politeness and good service.

The best part about the hotel is the location and train connectivity. It's lounge is always open n separate cooking kitchen is available in all room, and if not then upon request, they provide you with kitchen facility

Near to BahnHof, super markets. Good wifi strength. Comparatively cheaper for Bosch employees. Have rooms with kitchen. Good breakfast buffet.

I like it so much. It is not the best but I felt comfortable in my double room. Its size was big and that's was what I wanted. Breakfast also is good and suitable.

Only good thing is that the station is near from this hotel. But very small rooms.. and every day they provide same breakfast.

First Good location, big apartment room very clean spotless. Good staff good breakfast but getting a sleep was difficult. This is an old building renovated. The main road is next the Hotel. There is no aircon in the room or fan. A standalone ventilator was supplied. You can not open the windows as the noise is unreal. So in summer it's not so handy to sleep there. If you can sleep in traffic no problem...

Friendly staff, good location, spacious rooms. What I would like: a frying pan in the room, maybe a microwave oven. The pillows are too soft for my taste, but this is a personal quirk of mine.

The location was very good, about 5 minutes walk from the train station. The room was big, comfortable and quiet. It was clean and the waterpressure in the shower was good.

Unreservedly recommendable! Great rooms, super clean. Nice maritime concept! Breakfast for 7.50 euros was great! Everything your heart desires, attentive, friendly staff. At 10.50 a.m. extra bacon was made for the gentlemen at the next table (breakfast until 11.00 a.m.). All in all, a ray of hope in the "service desert Germany". There are parking spaces in the nearby multi-storey car parks.
