We had a good night in comfortable beds. However housekeeping came in on the day of our departure before the required checkout time and despite a do not disturb sign - without even knocking. And while the room was clean otherwise, we had a horrid smell in the bathroom until we flushed a both the syphons with some water (shower, bathtub) - not sure which of the ones had fallen dry.

The Goldner Pflug (golden plow) is a fabulous place to stay! By far the best hotel we have stayed in in Germany. Rooms are large.; beds are very comfortable; and the shower is fantastic. We have only had breakfast here so far but the selection is wonderful. I will try and post something after we experience the menu in the restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We even had a few laughs. Everyone is given special attention. Definitely the place to stay when in Ludwigsburg.

Parking garage below the hotel. The hotel is a little out of town but the location is quiet and the breakfast was very nice! The restaurant there looked fancy, so we went across the street to the Gasthaus Rössle and it was a very pub like environment. Great staff

Gorgeous hotel ran by a family located in a quiet town outside the city. Room views have a wonderful view of both old and modern architecture. Parking garage is perfect for smaller vehicles and the breakfast was delicious. Thankyou for the great stay!

If you are around in Ludwigsburg then this is THE place to stay .. very clean rooms and friendly staff ..
