It's an amazing place. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food is very good and all facilities are very nice. The only critism. The pool table needs a bit of tlc. The gym is very small and limited.

I have been to this hotel mostly for work retreats with colleagues etc. the location is quite outside the town so getting there by private cars is recommended. Nice hotel and nice staff. But internet here is horrible. In 80% of the time you cannot use wifi. They need to make this little better. Rest is ok and food is great.

Stayed here for one night. The people working here are very friendly. The location is also very nice, especially if you like hiking in the summer or skiing or snowboarding in the winter. The hotel seems quite old and needs a renovation. Hotelroom is clean, view is nice and breakfast is also really good.

Nice location, great facilities and nice friendly staff. The rooms are clean but do need to be modernised, I like a firm bed and this was not the best especially if you have a bad back. The morning breakfast is good and for dinner they have a buffet and a menu that changes every day.

Good price-performance ratio. The hotel is pretty and in a quiet location. The female staff is very nice, the men still have some room for improvement. Super nice little hotel on the outskirts of town, perfect for hiking and relaxing. The rooms are super clean and really pretty. The food for evening and breakfast was great, lovingly prepared and really tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful! Absolutely recommended!

We had a room with our own sauna in the bathroom (# 82) which was great. Everything was super clean and it was very quiet and even though the rooms next to us were occupied, we didn't hear anyone. Due to the short stay, we unfortunately did not have time to use the spa with pool. Let's do it next time!

Very dignified, beautiful hotel on the Rennsteig with friendly hosts and staff. Rich breakfast with a large selection very nicely presented, the dinner also very delicious with excellent wines. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom with bathtub and curtain was no longer entirely up-to-date. All in all, recommendable and price / performance ratio is okay.

Very good home-style cooking in the Thuringian style, excellent cuisine. Nice family business, friendly and always a little joke on the lips. Really to feel good. We were thrilled and can warmly recommend the restaurant

Very nice inn. Very good tasty food. The boss is very friendly and takes care of his guests. We stayed here. The rooms were ok. The breakfast was served (due to the corona), everything was plentiful and fresh from the butcher (the sausage). We could park and load the bikes in the garage.

Good food, very friendly service and the chef cooks himself here. Dogs are also allowed here. Everything is freshly cooked.

We spent beautiful days here and also had snow. A nice room with bathroom everything was clean! The food was really great! Service staff nice and friendly, what more could you want. Overall, the hotel made a good impression. It's a shame that there were so few guests there due to the circumstances. Thank you for the nice days!

We were with our granddaughter from October 26th to October 30th. a guest there. So, we were absolutely satisfied with the staff, the equipment, which of course was older, but comfortable. The food was freshly prepared and the prices were reasonable. The breakfast in particular was delicious and sufficient. You can always complain!

The rooms where small but clean and friendly.I was planed by this hotel and sauna.The personel was kind and the hospitalyti takes 5 stars .

We arrived very early, but were able to get into our room right away which was much appreciated. Friendly staff. A large room and beautiful bathroom with both shower and tub. Heated towel racks were nice on a chilly summer day! The restaurant was quite lovely, and decorated our table beautifully to celebrate our anniversary (as I had noted on the dinner reservation). Very good breakfast.

We ate in the restaurant at the weekend, drove an extra 400 km to eat dumplings and roast meat. Simply super delicious, the staff was very nice and accommodating. We will drive the many miles again to eat here. Thanks

I was accommodated in the beautiful view for 3 nights on business and found a very nice, clean, comfortable and warm room (it was still quite cool outside - travel time in mid-April). Very nice place, kind staff, very good food, reasonable prices and a great view on top. Certainly worth a visit if you're hungry and in town.

Es ist fantastisch was aus dem alten Kurhaus geworden ist. Unser Apartment war außergewöhnlich groß, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Viele Dank wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Apartment hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es ist modern, hell, geräumig und im Gebäude gibt es eine Sauna. Die Lage des Kurhauses ist ruhig, aber der Rest des Ortes ist schnell erreichbar. Ausserdem gab es sogar Brötchenservice.

Rating purely for the cafe. Cake selection great and super delicious. You are always tempted to order a second piece because you can hardly decide. Coffee products also great. Ideal for a break after a hike.

We went to this very nice cafe with our hiking group. Very tastefully decorated and very nice service. The cake and the ice cream were homemade and very delicious. Just great and highly recommended.
