Nice and cozy, but no AC....and it was too hot in the room

Arrived after 5 p.m. and got into the room with a code and therefore didn't see anyone. Parking directly in front of the building. Room accessible via outside staircase on the right. Room was clean and quite new, but also very small. Bathroom was more spacious. When you leave, leave your keys in the box outside.

locatioan is very close to outlet you can only walk 5 min.stuff is very helpful and friendly especially Bruno was very friendly and good.

Started strong. Good first impressions and Anita on the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are very modern and nice to look at.
Issues:
Loud - very poor sound insulation and busy road is right outside window
No AC: typical in older hotels in Europe but being new I would have hope for at least a fan
BIG ISSUE: Cold shower in the morning. Had a hot shower when I arrived but on leaving the water was cold- same with tap.
The top 2 reasons for a hotel are a good nights sleep and a hot shower.
Unfortunately we this hotel failed on both..

A great hotel in the center, ideal for shopping in the Metzingen outlet, a very nice and courteous owner. The best thing besides the clean, new rooms is the duplex parking garage. No stress with looking for a parking space. Come again

Pros: Nice staff, modern equipment, good shower
Not quite so positive: There are two parking spaces and another two public parking spaces. Breakfast is currently not offered. The rooms are pretty small. There is no ventilation or air conditioning system. The window cannot be opened at night either, as young drivers run their stereo systems until after midnight and bus and truck traffic starts at around three o'clock.
My personal conclusion: Price, performance and the 4 * classification do not go together.
