Parkhotel

The hotel is lovely and modern, the beds very comfortable, the suite we stayed in was great (the first two days, more on that later.) There were many amenities including a well-stocked and comped mini bar. The breakfasts are top notch. But those are things, not people. And people make the experience. The manager insisted I not use their name and asked that we credit the team, and I will honor their request. We had a wonderful time and sadly left after two marvelous days. So we drove three hours to our next destination and tried to check into our next hotel. "May I see your Passports?" Panic ensued. Unable to locate them, we realized we'd left them and a not insubstantial amount of cash in the open safe in our suite. After calming down, we called the Parkhotel and explained our idiocy to the very sympathetic aforementioned manager. Nothing had been turned in, the suite was now occupied by the next traveler. Our hearts sunk. They insisted they would check and to call back in a half hour. When we called back, they had located everything. Phew. We then decided to drive back the 3 hours. Arriving pretty beat, the same lovely manager was there, who had returned from home just to meet us. They gave us another room at a great price and included breakfast. We wanted to give a tip, but they insisted and only relented when we said we would give something to the team. THAT is someone anyone would want for a boss. There is no 6 star review, but if there were they would get it. Delightful staff. Highly recommended without reservation.

I stayed there for the first time and enjoyed the central location, surrounded by the city park. The room was light and airy, with a French balcony. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, lovely restaurant and terrace, very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again.

We had a good stay. Breakfast wasn’t cheap but lots of healthy and usual delicious choices. Everyone was quick to help us with any needs.

Would recommend for business or leisure. Bright, nice and clean comfortable room with good pressure shower. Beautiful views from the surrounding city. Table for doing some work and a comfy chair to relax in. Good breakfast buffet either wide selection. Fresh orange juice machine and selection of other juices.

We had planned a surprise visit for my aunts 74th birthday. We had made our arraignments from NY and we had originally booked our stay online at another close by hotel which turned out to be total disaster. It was outdated poorly maintained and undergoing renovations. Their staff kept moving us from one room to another as some of the rooms did not have heat or electricity. My family felt very uncomfortable and we decided to look for another hotel.

We found Parkhotel through google search. The Parkhotel receptionist answered the phone and spoke perfect English. I explained to her my dire situation and she asked for my name and told me that they had rooms available. After a 15 minute drive we arrived at the Parkhotel where we were warmly greeted by the receptionist. My family requested that we view the rooms which the receptionist gladly complied. She took us to the 9th floor and showed us the rooms. I was very surprised at how reasonable their price was considering this was a last minute emergency booking.

The hotel is clean, close to the shops and restaurants. Excellent, professional and friendly service from check in to check out.

The staff at the hotel are lovely. Rooms are a good size and well kept. We had a great view of the city and the location allowed us to visit the Christmas markets which took over the downtown. The hotel is also well located, close to transportation within the city and not far from the railroad station.

The room was clean and spacious, but the parking fee of 15 euros was unreasonable. The waiter did not remind me to pay the parking fee when checking out, so I was stopped at the exit and ran back to the front desk to pay the parking fee.

Everything was really well executed. Super friendly staff, great amenities, rooms were stylish and comfortable. Loved coming here with our dog. A great stay
