Clean good hotel in good price

Stayed in this hotel on business this week and I would happily stay there again! A family run business, it features a lovely bar area which is very reasonably priced and the rooms were good. I didn’t sample breakfast but it smelled lovely. My room only had a single bed but it was comfortable and a spacious room. What I really liked is how exceptionally clean it was in my room, cleaner than some very high end places I’ve stayed! It was also very very quiet which was a bonus for a good nights sleep. Room was nice and warm with easy to use heating and openable windows for some fresh air too. Good location: not super central but good transport links and conveniently next to a big supermarket, a garage etc for any bits needed. I liked that the business is family run and it was very well priced for the cleanliness. My only feedback is I had no idea how to work the coffee machine so a kettle would have been helpful, and it would have been nice to have individual shampoo and body wash provided not two in one. Overall though, good.

Super old rooms, carpets almost worn through, curtains hanging from broken fittings. It really does need a huge update and painting.
My room was also on the busy road junction so couldn’t have the windows open so the room was like a sauna. Even with the fan blowing full it’s just blowing warm air around.
Plastic sheets on the beds too so you’re sweating anyway.
Basic cheap mattresses and pillows.
Bathroom also smells awful.
I stayed here a week and didn’t get one good nights sleep. I had to put the duvet from the other bed over the window next to my bed to try block out the traffic lights as the curtains are far too thin. Room doesn’t even get dark at night due to all the lights.
Breakfast is good however, all fresh and enough choice. Scrambled eggs are nice, staff are also nice and friendly.

Perfect for an overnight stay close by to an elderly relative. Simple comfortable accommodation at a great price.

This is an older house but friendly and welcoming, especially the reception, bar and dining area. Our room on the second floor faced quiet backyards (# 311). Even though the flooring in the hallway and in the room had some blemishes and the hallway looked a bit tired the room itself was very good, spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and we would have been happy Could we have stayed longer than 1 night. Even the small bathroom didn't bother us. It was fully functional. We didn't have breakfast. This hotel is a real gem with excellent value for money and the location close to the A 40 perfect for an overnight stay. We would definitely come back.

Nice rooms and location, but lousy and inflexible
personal. I was charged with 20€ extra for living the room half an hour after the check out time. When I had to check out the clerk instead of calling my taxi, as I was in a terrible rush, she was too busy talking with another employee from the hotel. Because of all these I don't recommend the hotel.
