The location was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. I particularly liked the self-check-in—easy and quick. My only minor criticism was that the sink drained a bit slowly. Overall, though, everything was very good, and I can recommend the hotel.

View from my room. Near to Aldy and tram. No kettle provided in the room . No tea , no mug , nothing . Difficult to register as you need translater to fill up the form .

Not working lift, so I need to carry my heavy bag up to level 2. I take a break a while but was scolded not to stay there.

a 8 minute tram ride from essen center hbf. Then a minute walk to the hotel. Check in is lengthy, took like 5 minutes but the room/building is very clean and comfortable. Supermarket is right next to it so getting drinks and food is convenient.

Great location and price for a good one night stay. Would be better if there were clearer signage and some touch ups to the decoration of the location to make it more welcoming and less "cold".
