Art Hotel Superior

I stayed at this hotel in August 2025. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards expected from a 4-star property.

Upon arrival, I found several dead insects in the room, including what appeared to be cockroaches, and even encountered a live cockroach. I documented everything with photos. This clearly indicated that the room had not been cleaned properly before my arrival.

When I reported the issue to reception at 11:30 p.m., the staff member simply replied: “It’s Germany, we have insects, what do you want me to do?” He offered a room change, but at that time of night, after thoroughly inspecting the first room, I did not want to repeat the process.

At checkout, I was offered only €15 and a free bottle of water as compensation. No apology was given by any staff member. I left disappointed, as I could not rest properly during the night, which affected the event I had specifically come for.

This was unfortunately far below the hygiene and service I expect from a 4-star hotel.
