Where to stay in Ramsau

Super hotel! Good food, friendly staff, nice wellness area and pool👍🏻 everything was great! I can only recommend it. Street in front of the hotel is sometimes a bit noisy (had a room facing the street), but with the windows closed you can't hear anything. Hardly any traffic at night, so you can sleep with the window open.

Nice hotel with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Small outdoor pool with loungers. Modern furnished rooms. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Despite the direct location on the alpine road, you can sleep peacefully through the triple-glazed windows. Parking spaces at the house.

Wow I visited already 13 Times and next year I am gonna visit it for the 14 Time to go skiing it's always great and the people are really nice. I like the Food but it got a bit of a downgrade because they had to remove the Jacuzzi from the Balcony to get the Titel of an "Eco friendly Hotel". But the Pool and the Saunas are amazing definitely not gonna be my last time visiting. :)

I don't think I will ever leave a review that I could say better things about than this hotel. It's truly a small piece of paradise and a glimpse of heaven. We had such an amazing time here. Berchtesgaden is beautiful, this hotel really enhances the experience. The facilities are well kept, and the staff really do their best to impress. We had some slight language barriers but nothing too bad. We're already dreaming of coming back!

We’ve been lucky enough to come down to Ramesau four or five times in the last few years, and this is now by far our favorite place. Small, beautifully appointed, and the sweetest family. The food is 👌🏽, you have multiple trailheads right by the hotel, the lake is a minute away- this is the dream. English skills are A+, so no worries for the linguistically challenged!

We came here for Dinner and sat in the beer garden. Very nice and attentive staff. Seems family run. I had the Cordon Bleu which was fantastic. There is a brand new new playground in place. Our daughter loved it very much! Overall a great place to dine!

Very friendly couple working here ! :) Also, rooms are spacious with good bathroom and we even had a living room (awesome :) ). The view although not direct to Hintersee, it's still great. Plus, you are only a couple of minutes away by foot, so you won't be missing anything.

Warm and cosy with adequate service and fare prices. A typical southern Bayern interior style of restaurant serves mixed foods from Bayern and Austria. I ordered Knuddeln for lunch, but be honest to say, it was rather dry and bored, I felt a little bit disappointed.

Really excellent service, alcohol free beer (with holler - blood orange flavour) was unbelievable. The Hocheck burger was a real taste explosion, I would eat it again in a heartbeat. My wife had the Turkey schnitzel and that was also excellent. Thanks for a wonderful end to a wonderful holiday

The view is great, the cake is good, but the rest is just okay. They do offer an English menu, something you don't get a lot in the areas. However, the English version has many fewer items than the German version.

Good salad and cheesy spaghetti. The cheese flavor is so strong. The spaghetti portion is so big. We already eat lunch but still order the cheese fish. Two adult almost cannot fish it, so you know the portion is so big. In the cold weather, can eat such warm food is quite grateful.

Good location (the hiking bus stop in front of the house). Good food, good-humored boss. Rooms could be a bit bigger and shelves or hooks for clothes could be more.

The somewhat frosty greeting from the older gentleman suggested something bad. We were taught otherwise. The guest rooms were very clean and very nicely decorated. The food is excellent with good value for money. I can only warmly recommend pork medallions and roast mushrooms. The only drawback: We only offer one menu for several people. We would love to come back.

We got a place there without a reservation. It just got a little uncomfortable because of the corona requirements. Nevertheless, they took great care of us and the food was very tasty. You can always complain about prices but I don't. Gladly again .

The host family is helpful in all situations, always trying hard and always friendly. We felt very comfortable and our son enjoyed life on the farm. The apartment was well equipped and the view is a dream when the weather is nice.

Stayed for two nights. Some amenities were missing e.g. bottle opener. It wouldn't be a problem however on Wednesday the restaurant is closed which is weird for a hotel but I guess that's the norm in the area. Staff were very helpful and the view from road side facing room was excellent!!

We spent the most pleasant period here, the suite is spacious and clean with good mountain views. The employees are helpful and hospitable, parking is also convenient. Would give it a 10/10. If you’re planning to visit this area, definitely take hotel Bärenstüberl into your consideration😀.

This place is amazing, near the mountains and close to the town. The house has been renovated and is very comfortable and cozy! Irmi is the best! She takes care of everything to make you feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious and on Sunday we got a picnic basket :) We totally recommend this place

Interesting experience, this hotel feels more like a big house but it is not a hostel. Booking and getting the key was quick and easy, however, the rooms dont have air conditioning, or fans, and our window was missing the anti-bug window screen so a few mosquitos made their way into the room when we left the window open as it was a bit too hot inside. We had a very comfortable stay here for two nights. The location was absolutely gorgeous and very close to hitlers “eagles nest” (only 15 mins away) and you’re surrounded by beautiful mountains. The service here is also outstanding, the breakfast was awesome. The massage chairs in the lobby are a nice touch!

Very cozy place! Location is perfect, it takes 20-25 min on foot to get to the main attractions ( Lake Königssee, Jennerbahn am Königssee). Breakfast was super delicious. The staff were very kind and hospitable! Thanks a lot! I highly recommend!

Rooms very clean and hygiene conditions strictly maintained (Covid-19). The supporting staff were also helpful and cheerful. Greeted by the owner and given a very warm welcome. The place is a bit dated and knocked about but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Views are stunning. There is an honesty system with the fridge. You just help yourself to beer and tell them what you've had.

Simple but clean breakfast guest house. The hostess Frau Wolf is very friendly and does everything to make you feel at home. There are 4 rooms and 1 holiday home with a small kitchenette. The house is quietly located in a beautiful area with a view of the mountains, a 15-minute walk from the Königssee. Breakfast is simple but more than enough of everything. We come there every year.

Cozy place to stay in schönau am königssee. The bus stop"untersein" is in the 5 Mins walk distance and 2 stop to the königssee tourist center. But when the first day we arrive late at night, the entrance is not easy to identify. Love the hairy qute cat here.

The Staff were all very friendly. Nice location, very easy to reach famous sights e.g. Königssee, Malerwinkel, Königsseer Fußweg, Berchtesgaden central bus station. I especially loved to walk along the Königsseer Fußweg to the Königssee.
