Beautiful and cozy with superb customer service One of our favorite stays during our trip to Germany, this quaint cottage was cozy and surrounded by the most amazing views. We went here for our road-trip through Germany. The guy in the reception, Igor took well care of us! He was super kind about the breakfast and we liked it so much that we went back for another night. Close by was also a big river that went down the hills. If you stay here you must visit this river that is only on the other side of the main road.

Nice service, breakfast good and the room is clean and quiet. No fan and no air conditioner. Free tea and coffee bar. We stayed here on July. Drive to the sign-seeing points at convenient. Went near the restaurant for dinner before 20:00.

Super hotel! Good food, friendly staff, nice wellness area and pool👍🏻 everything was great! I can only recommend it. Street in front of the hotel is sometimes a bit noisy (had a room facing the street), but with the windows closed you can't hear anything. Hardly any traffic at night, so you can sleep with the window open.

The breakfast and dinner were above expectations. Also the location and view from the balcony was great. The staff spends a lot of effort especially behind the scenes, very much appreciated! In summary, it's a nice place to spend some days.

The view is great, the cake is good, but the rest is just okay. They do offer an English menu, something you don't get a lot in the areas. However, the English version has many fewer items than the German version.

Good salad and cheesy spaghetti. The cheese flavor is so strong. The spaghetti portion is so big. We already eat lunch but still order the cheese fish. Two adult almost cannot fish it, so you know the portion is so big. In the cold weather, can eat such warm food is quite grateful.

Warm and cosy with adequate service and fare prices. A typical southern Bayern interior style of restaurant serves mixed foods from Bayern and Austria. I ordered Knuddeln for lunch, but be honest to say, it was rather dry and bored, I felt a little bit disappointed.

Really excellent service, alcohol free beer (with holler - blood orange flavour) was unbelievable. The Hocheck burger was a real taste explosion, I would eat it again in a heartbeat. My wife had the Turkey schnitzel and that was also excellent. Thanks for a wonderful end to a wonderful holiday

This place is a gem! The rooms are great, the staff is awesome, and the restaurant! I just had an amazing bavarian plate here, amazing and extremely generous amount of food, and the waiter was super attentive and helpful. 5/5 easily!

Stayed for two nights. Some amenities were missing e.g. bottle opener. It wouldn't be a problem however on Wednesday the restaurant is closed which is weird for a hotel but I guess that's the norm in the area. Staff were very helpful and the view from road side facing room was excellent!!

We spent the most pleasant period here, the suite is spacious and clean with good mountain views. The employees are helpful and hospitable, parking is also convenient. Would give it a 10/10. If you’re planning to visit this area, definitely take hotel Bärenstüberl into your consideration😀.

This place is amazing, near the mountains and close to the town. The house has been renovated and is very comfortable and cozy! Irmi is the best! She takes care of everything to make you feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious and on Sunday we got a picnic basket :) We totally recommend this place

I spent pleasant days in this pension. The hostess always gave me good tips for a hike, depending on the weather. The breakfast is sufficient and there was a small treat every day. But the best thing is the magnificent view of the valley.

We recommend! We felt right at home, you are lovingly cared for and the breakfast is delicious. The view from the balcony is simply stunning and there is a lot to discover in the area (Königssee, Wimbachklamm, Kehlsteinhaus etc.)

We enjoyed a great stay in the apartment for 4 people. The apartment is well equipped and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing. The care and breakfast from Ms. Köppel was great. We'd love to come back!

We stayed two nights in a room in the new building. The room was very large, with parquet flooring and a balcony. There was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness, the bathroom was large, quite modern but functional. The breakfast selection is not huge but of good quality. We chose a suite in the adjacent new building and were very satisfied. Barrier-free bathroom with enough power sockets. In general, they knew what was important during construction and furnishing. The lighting concept in the rooms is simply wonderful! Blackout curtains for sleeping in. Clothes rack on the balcony. Safe. Well-stocked minibar, which unfortunately wasn't very powerful in terms of cooling...

Unfortunately, we were only here to sleep between two hikes and therefore didn't use any of the wellness facilities. We really liked the hotel. The staff are always friendly and hard-working, the rooms are clean, large, nice and have a very good indoor climate.

We had a very comfortable stay here for two nights. The location was absolutely gorgeous and very close to hitlers “eagles nest” (only 15 mins away) and you’re surrounded by beautiful mountains. The service here is also outstanding, the breakfast was awesome. The massage chairs in the lobby are a nice touch!

Very cozy place! Location is perfect, it takes 20-25 min on foot to get to the main attractions ( Lake Königssee, Jennerbahn am Königssee). Breakfast was super delicious. The staff were very kind and hospitable! Thanks a lot! I highly recommend!

Rooms very clean and hygiene conditions strictly maintained (Covid-19). The supporting staff were also helpful and cheerful. Greeted by the owner and given a very warm welcome. The place is a bit dated and knocked about but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Views are stunning. There is an honesty system with the fridge. You just help yourself to beer and tell them what you've had.

Nice stay. Very rustic and simple room, very friendly host and good breakfast. Only negative thing is that sound isolation is bad and you can hear your neighbors talking. Luckily ours went to bed early
