This place is amazing, near the mountains and close to the town. The house has been renovated and is very comfortable and cozy! Irmi is the best! She takes care of everything to make you feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious and on Sunday we got a picnic basket :) We totally recommend this place

Unfortunately, we were only here to sleep between two hikes and therefore didn't use any of the wellness facilities. We really liked the hotel. The staff are always friendly and hard-working, the rooms are clean, large, nice and have a very good indoor climate.

I spent pleasant days in this pension. The hostess always gave me good tips for a hike, depending on the weather. The breakfast is sufficient and there was a small treat every day. But the best thing is the magnificent view of the valley.

We recommend! We felt right at home, you are lovingly cared for and the breakfast is delicious. The view from the balcony is simply stunning and there is a lot to discover in the area (Königssee, Wimbachklamm, Kehlsteinhaus etc.)

Stayed in a few hotels around southern Germany and this place was the best! The owner is kind and attentive. The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station. The breakfasts are provided and all you can eat, and they sell beer pretty cheap if you just want to kick back and relax after a day of hiking in our around the Alps. It's easy to get anywhere...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Close to everything. No buffet breakfast due to covid. But they will serve you breakfast in their dining room. Our room was small but clean. No elevator so I was hauling two 50 lbs luggages up the stairs. Perfect place to stay if you love the outdoors..

Great place to stay, good breakfast, wifi works, easy walking to mainstation, clean rooms, good tourist information. Negative is traintrack in front of the house, you have to cross a fast lane street (quite dangerous), cash only on check out. I would recommend and stay again for a short trip

Quality of your stay may depend on the specific room you are assigned to. Booked a Double Room via HRS and was confronted with room 11 (two beds in two separate! tiny rooms). Checked with reception and they moved us to room 3 with lots of space and even a separate, living room like room with great mountain view. Breakfast was good, missing a local touch though.

We were there for dinner. Loved the hospitality and the reception. They were quite accommodating that they even prepared an 'out of the menu' dish for the children. The grilled fish was also tasty. Only that there wasn't much vegetarian options. Service was fast. Overall, good experience.

Went there at the start of July, we were past the 23:00 check-in limit, so one of the employees kept waiting on us till 23:15 when we arrived. Really good service, and really good food, the live music every Thursday is fun too! Special thanks also to the lady in the pink dress for her good service during dinner! The rooms are small , but quaint, with beautiful woodwork in the traditional Bavarian style. The bathroom very modern and clean. The Breakfast buffet has a nice selection of everything one could desire, even a few vegetarian spreads. Really cozy and great location. Parking is a small walk away. Only downside is the shared bathrooms (there are two, one with shower) however there are only 3 rooms upstairs so we didn't run into any issues for showering but a couple times we had to wait for the bathroom.

We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town however the route is pretty and alongside the river so did not feel like a task!
