Cool hotel and amazing location. Staff are really helpful and kind! They speak great English and nothing is too much for them. I went in the off season which means some of the restaurant’s are not available which is a shame. The hotel is really close to eagles nest which is worth the trip up there. Absolutely fantastic! Friends of ours were staying here for a few days and we stayed just the night in a city-facing room but it was amazing. Loved everything about this hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony. We found all staff helpful and friendly and enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great for those travelling without a car. A short walk to the train station and the centre. Bike parking is provided.

Quality of your stay may depend on the specific room you are assigned to. Booked a Double Room via HRS and was confronted with room 11 (two beds in two separate! tiny rooms). Checked with reception and they moved us to room 3 with lots of space and even a separate, living room like room with great mountain view. Breakfast was good, missing a local touch though.

We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town however the route is pretty and alongside the river so did not feel like a task!

A step back on time to the 80's. Well kept but dated. Inadequate shower. Just a piece of glass on the side of a bath tub. Extreamly dated dining area in need of a upgrade. Decent breakfast and friendly staff.

Traditional German hotel with great service. The place suffers a bit of being old and parts may need future renovation. But excellent placement and well worth a stay.

Rooms have a wonderful view! (at least mine did) Couldn't ask for a more peaceful view while enjoying breakfast either! Loved the part of town with plenty of places nearby to eat (really enjoyed the Greek place across the street and ice cream up the road). The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly! This one is a very nice hotel. Got a great spacious room with super comfortable beds, a balcony with nice view to the Alps. Also included was a complementary breakfast. There is also plenty of parking available for free of charge.

There was free parking at the back. Check-in was easy and quick. The beds were okay, so was the bath room. We found the room was to hot during the night. We made use of the pool which was good, however if you use one their towels it costs you €5. The restaurant was also good, the free breakfast was good,

The hotel is run by two super lovely people, and you can tell how much time and love they invest in the hotel. Both come from the area and always have good tips on what to do in the vicinity. From the hotel you could enjoy the beautiful landscape, but the view of the hotel is also worthwhile. The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. The breakfast is also excellent.

Friendly staff, close to Kelsteinhaus, ample parking lot, very spacious and clean room with living room and bathroom, kitchen that is well-equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and cutlery for easy cooking, good Wi-Fi, very quiet Pleasant apartment. However, there is no mart near the apartment, so you have to take a car.

Checked all the boxes. Clean, modern, good price, nice staff, good food, good view, huge room, comfy beds. The room is equipped with a kitchen, and the bathroom is very clean. The balcony is huge and offers a very nice view to the mountain. During the corona, they maintain a good hygienic practice and also gave us extra mask/disinfection handsoap. We had a great experience staying here. The room was spacious. There were plenty of activities close by, including tours and hikes. Staff was welcoming and polite. WiFi worked well. Meal options are fantastic in the area.

We were there for dinner. Loved the hospitality and the reception. They were quite accommodating that they even prepared an 'out of the menu' dish for the children. The grilled fish was also tasty. Only that there wasn't much vegetarian options. Service was fast. Overall, good experience.

Went there at the start of July, we were past the 23:00 check-in limit, so one of the employees kept waiting on us till 23:15 when we arrived. Really good service, and really good food, the live music every Thursday is fun too! Special thanks also to the lady in the pink dress for her good service during dinner! The small hotel has us (3 couples, ages between 57 and 87 years old) very much. The breakfast is quite enough. The rooms cozy, with large fridge and partly with sofa. The owners very friendly! The location of the hotel also good, 10 minutes to the sewing center. Price-performance top!

Stayed in a few hotels around southern Germany and this place was the best! The owner is kind and attentive.
