Hotel opened in 1983, renovated in 2009. In this mini-hotel 88 rooms, 9 floors.

Children up to and including 6 years old stay for € 10 per person per night when using an available cot.

Children up to and including 12 years old stay for € 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed.

Good hotel with interesting. Sport related rooms. I also enjoyed quite a lovely meal in the restaurant. Good service and clean rooms!

Hotel should not have been kept open during refurbishment. The brewery scheme brings the tone of the hotel down with ruff and ready furniture and very noisy guests. Rooms would benefit from a table and chairs rather than or in addition to the sport equipment as well as a mini bar. Main lights on the walls are too bright. Not received reply to 2 e-mails regarding matrasses

4-star Hotel with no option to phone out or to receive calls is not acceptable. The hotel reception area and the rooms lack ambiance. Bed sheet had a 0.5 cm black mark. Parking ok if there are free spots but problematic when the lot is full and when there is nobody at the reception desk to provide advice. TV and WiFi are fine. Also the price is reasonable (provided there was a phone).

It was very hot but the rooms have no air conditioned. I had to open the windows completely and it was horrible because of the trafic noises and also because lots of insects like big moths came inside the room. Such a hotel should have air conditioned.
Apart from that, the idea of the room having sport amenities is good, and the breakfast choice was good too.

* At the hotel, you know you must not go inside you. The entrance to the brewery was closed, you should use the entrance for smokers.
* Reception is not manned often (check out no one can be seen).
* The reception had no map or other information about Hiking trails.
* Rooms, no information, for example: time, Breakfast, when was the towels changed, doctor number, and so on.

“This Hotel in Remscheid has pleased me very much!”
My fam.and I were for this week 2 nights in this wonderful Hotel. Perfect Location. We had room 401 with a view of the whole city. Hard beds (matter of taste), bed linen very clean. The Breakfast was great with a great selection,The ambiance is very cozy and appealing, the service very friendly.
The Hotel leaves no wish unfulfilled.

Room was not cleaned on arrival well, but was done after a complaint. Parking is sometimes difficult, use of the Garage is awkward (not Opening with the room card). In the case of the use of the elevators has not a good feeling, a very old system (but is renewed now). Furnishings of rooms with theme "Sport and Fitness" is a very innovative and interesting, we prefer to have used the very comfortable beds and flat-screen TV. Mattresses and thus sleeping comfort are top. Breakfast and gastronomy we didn't use, since we were hosted in the family circle. But it looked very appealing and an on-site brewery has also each Hotel. Location is ideal, train station and buses directly to and on the highway max. 5 minutes.

Negative: only one Desk chair in the room, no Seating otherwise, only the bed. The crowning achievement for the brewery, guests Billiards player Parking available for Hotel guests don't need to see where you stay. This is so even if the Park is renovated. Then a barrier is so that the places for the hotel guests stay free. There are small defects, e.g. in the food space, more cleanliness, but maybe that will change after the conversion.
