Waldhotel Eskeshof in Wuppertal

The staff is very very friendly and even while, as an early bird, I mistakenly went to early to breakfast, the staff was courteous. So i was thankful for that.
The breakfast was top! The variety from sweets to the scrambled eggs was good and again everybody can find something.
You had a small garbage disposal on the table.

The place of the hotel is a little bit up on a hill in a residential area.

At the reception you can get fresh water.

Why the three stars. For me it was mostly based on the room.
For a short stay it's ok but for a longer stay, I don't know.
In the summer or on hot days no refrigerator. The utensils in the bathroom is only handsome and body & hair wash, nothing more.
In my room, even when closing the window.....cold or wind gets in. You can hear everything on the outside. And the walls are thin!

For me no gym but a swimming pool but while somebody else did the booking for me, I was missing the gym.

You have a parking area but depending on what car you're driving it's sometimes very small or narrow.

Nonetheless I had a good stay.

Room service forgot to close the window in the bathroom and the room was freezing! Heating device was only worm and it was not enough to heat up temp.
