Perfect place to stop on the way down the A1 on Adventures. Clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant not open in early October but there is McDonald's next door for dinner or to avoid the 15eur breakfast. A good find!

Decent hotel but nothing special

...not sure of 4 starts with a bit outdated rooms, bit amenities been great, even water boiler, coffe, tee and daily refills, very friendly staff, good breakfast , nice bath room - great value for the money and good deal to go back.

Very good location: 30min away from Cologne by car, in the middle of the mountains and near a beautiful lake. It's the perfect place to escape from the city from a weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature... Plus, the staff is very nice and the breakfast (a buffet) is very good. My room was comfy and extremely clean, and I loved the view on the garden. I highly recommend!

Nice place in a refurbished countryside Manor. The restaurant is highly recommended. However rooms are scattered in the forest: I needed a car ride to reach my room from the reception!

Excellent venue, location and service.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

Nice hotel. The only drawback is the waiter who is not present all the time: if you arrive early, you will have to call him by phone.

Stayed here on a business trip. For business purposes it was fine. It is not near downtown so you will need to drive or take taxis to most places. Rooms were clean and fairly large for European standards but a bit basic. My biggest complaints (as an American) are: the parking is very hard to spot, the entrance for any non-compact car is very narrow, and the road is undergoing construction that makes it hard to find the way to the hotel. Overall,a good experience at this hotel.

It's a cute little hotel right next to Rewe, dm, Lidl, at a crossstreet in a little town. So you are sure to not stay hungry in any case. There are few bakeries nearby where residents gather since early in the morning to have breakfast. Very nice notalgisches Design and very beautiful historical building from the 18th century. Jahrjundert. Apparently, it is just newly renovated, but a trip to the village of Remscheid seems to be worth it. Friendly staff and a good Breakfast await you there.Very recommend value.

The room is very small, smaller than description, the heating is not like the rest of the high-end hotels, but heating under the window, there is no phone to call the reception, I had to use my phone and search for the hotel number through Google and then wait for the autoresponder, to ask them a question The fan has a thick dust on it, it hasn't been cleaned in a while

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only downside was with the windows open we heard a lot of traffic noise . Room needed air conditioning as when we were there the temperature was 30 degrees - but there was an electric fan in the room.

The room is well heated and clean

A lot about this hotel is very nice - the breakfast and the wellness area for example. They are perfect also for the price. Some of the staff are also very nice, some are not very friendly or observing the wish for privacy in the rooms. The setting within nature is very pretty. We will come back.

It is a good place for conferences/ retreats especially nice during summer. There is a hiking trail nearby and makes you feel closer to nature. The approach road is narrow so heavy vehicles like buses will not be able to reach. The walking distance from main roads is about 1km.

Rooms and service were great, though English speaking servers were not very common. Location is extremely secluded, and the cellular and wifi services were nearly unusable. Front desk also did not carry razor blades for shaving.

I was here for a 2 day training . I shared a double room with my wife on the last floor . The hotel is located in a really idyllic place, you drive on a narrow road through the forest and then at some point this very big Castle like structure .

The Hotel was really old but Not in a good way. The bed was fine even though the matress was Split up in two. The bathroom was very small. Not to great For that price in my opinion but Overall fine für a night or two.

We had a nice overnight stay in the Hotel Alt Lennep after a bike tour through the Bergisch. We received a very warm welcome and were even allowed to park our bikes in a garage protected from the rain. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, cozy and rustic. The breakfast was simple but good and from the hotel you can quickly reach the pretty center of Lennep. We would love to come back
