This review is for the coffee ☕️. We did not stay at the hotel 🛎. Instead, we experienced a traditional Rudesheim Coffee. The cafe was quaint and coffee delicious, so tasty we bought some brandy to take home with us.

This review is only for the restaurant, we did not stay in the hotel and cannot say anything about it. The food was tasty and they had very typical options, the burger was especially nice I’d say. The service was ok (we had to ask three time for the ketchup) but very kind. Prices were ok as well. The location is super central and the garden itself it’s pleasant.

Rating for the restaurant: Great wine, mediocre meals, fair prices, good atmosphere.

Stayed in the wine barrel room. Amazing experience, but only for a night. It was very hot in there, and people kept walking by as the door is basically facing the parking area (so almost no privacy). Still, lovely hotel.

Clean and friendly in a beautiful town

Booked two apartments and a double room for a long weekend. It was a family get together to celebrate my younger brothers 50th birthday. Clean and comfortable. Great location. BUT!! The Management where very rude and aggressive!!! Would not recommend or stay there again!!

Family-run Hotel. Good access roads and Parking directly in front of the door. Only 5 minutes walking distance to the Drosselgasse. The clean and well-maintained-room was furnished with good quality furniture stylish. A noise-free bed with a top mattress, as well as a good door and good window brought a peaceful sleep. Well-stocked Minibar. Breakfast good and rich. We will definitely come back again

Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.

Lovely hotel right on the banks of the Rhine in the small village of Assmannshausen, famous for its wine, and just a few kilometres from Rüdesheim. Friendly staff, good food and nice rooms. We stayed in a comfort room overlooking the river, very nice.

Such a cute place to stay. The staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming. It’s right across the river and we had an amazing view. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant had really good quality food and the free breakfast was one of the best I have ever had! I would stay 100 time over here!

The Title is an old Danish saying, and it fits in perfectly, as the Hotel owner, Pernille is also Danish, making sure all guests are taking good care of. Very nice hotel! As an old building, it does not have an elevator. So if you go with heavy suitcases, be prepared to go up some stairs depending where your room is. Room in the first floor es number 40. I suppose the view is not as nice as in 3r floor

A dreamy Christmas buffet. Everything was very nicely prepared and a great atmosphere. The food was really very good. Freshly prepared and served by the chef. Check-in was seamless. The location by the Rhine was great. A nice corner. Free water in the room. But it's very noisy, so no chance of sleeping after 7 a.m. Breakfast was available, but sparse. I got a bathtub instead of a shower. The bathroom ventilation was completely blocked. Limescale on the shower head and old fixtures were exposed.

The hotel and restaurant strike me as the very best place you can end up in Rudesheimer. Both were excellent. The room was very spacious with a contemporary feel. The bathroom was also large. The King bed was very comfortable, You can open the window for fresh air. An outstanding experience with regional German food, including wild game, prepared and presented very nicely. Service is excellent, and there's an outdoor garden with music on weekends. The wine selection is also very good, mostly local white wines from the Middle Rhine Valley or the town of Ruesdesheim itself. In asparagus season, there's a wonderful cream of asparahgus soup.
