The price-quality is perfect. Clean rooms, good breakfast and very nice staff. Very good location completes the good impression. The garage is not suitable for large cars, but there is a large parking lot next to it.

Hotel right on the main street. Easy access except that parking is limited and if you don't book ahead of time (which when we booked the rooms, it just said to book parking when you arrive), you'll end up in a lot nearby that is 15 euro/day. This review is for the coffee ☕️. We did not stay at the hotel 🛎. Instead, we experienced a traditional Rudesheim Coffee. The cafe was quaint and coffee delicious, so tasty we bought some brandy to take home with us.

This review is only for the restaurant, we did not stay in the hotel and cannot say anything about it. The food was tasty and they had very typical options, the burger was especially nice I’d say. The service was ok (we had to ask three time for the ketchup) but very kind. Prices were ok as well. The location is super central and the garden itself it’s pleasant.

Stayed in the wine barrel room. Amazing experience, but only for a night. It was very hot in there, and people kept walking by as the door is basically facing the parking area (so almost no privacy). Still, lovely hotel.

An outstanding experience with regional German food, including wild game, prepared and presented very nicely. Service is excellent, and there's an outdoor garden with music on weekends. The wine selection is also very good, mostly local white wines from the Middle Rhine Valley or the town of Ruesdesheim itself. In asparagus season, there's a wonderful cream of asparahgus soup. Clean and friendly in a beautiful town

Booked two apartments and a double room for a long weekend. It was a family get together to celebrate my younger brothers 50th birthday. Clean and comfortable. Great location. BUT!! The Management where very rude and aggressive!!! Would not recommend or stay there again!!

Family-run Hotel. Good access roads and Parking directly in front of the door. Only 5 minutes walking distance to the Drosselgasse. The clean and well-maintained-room was furnished with good quality furniture stylish. A noise-free bed with a top mattress, as well as a good door and good window brought a peaceful sleep. Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.

Did not say the hotel, but did eat at the restaurant. Beautiful outdoor restaurant bordering the river, and covered with vines. Service was very good, while I enjoyed my Jager schnitzel and roasted potatoes very much, my fiance felt her pork medallions tasted off. We did come back the next day, for coffee and a practice waffle, which were both very enjoyable.

Always a pleasure to sit on the terrace, enjoy a meal, a glass of wine and watch the ships on the Rhine

Decent hotel in a very touristic German village. We felt very welcome, the staff awaited us with a free glass of wine and the breakfast was very good. Hotel even provided very tasty gluten free options. The room was nice and tide, but the bathroom was quite tight. All in all, we had a good experience.

Good hotel in the old part of the city. Rooms were clean. We were greeted with a welcome wine. Also, you can buy wines at a discount from the Hotel's own wine shop. Lots of eating options available at a walkable distance. Breakfast buffet was good and nothing to complain about. Places of interest are at a walking distance.

Definitely an absolutely beautiful place with a lot of charming, history and nice views either to vineyards or the Rihn. We couldn’t imagine that this hotel was really keeping the essence of the 2n oldest hotel in Germany. They are doing amazing! Beautiful hotel with a great view of the Rhine. Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. This historic hotel is well-preserved and is fun to experience. The trains are frequent and loud throughout the night, so this may not be the right place for light sleepers or if you forgot your earplugs. Rooms are not air conditioned, but you can request a fan. Friendly staff at check-in.

We spent a week in one of the hotel's Comfort rooms, and it was wonderful. Clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. And the location of the hotel was ideal... a 5-minute walk to most of Rudesheim's main spots. We loved coming back to the hotel each day.

Great boutique hotel / BNB. Our room was large enough, nice and renovated / updated, and the air conditioning worked great in the summer. The staff were very helpful with local tips and around the hotel. The breakfast was very good with great service at an affordable price. The location was great, a few minutes from the center of the old town but on a quieter street. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful hotel! The receptionist/owner is wonderful and the breakfast was out of this world, with the most cheerful helpers we’ve experienced so far. This is a hidden gem!

Spent 2 very pleasant nights here. Made to feel very welcome. Room was nice size and lovely high pressure shower. All needed when stepping off the Rheinsteig. Breakfast was very good. Location beside a beautiful church and close to many bars and sights. Would certainly recommend.

I wouldn't book the hotel again! For a total of around EUR 170 per night, I would have expected air conditioning. At breakfast there was canned fruit salad, on Sunday at 8:30 there was no more bacon for scrambled eggs and the scrambled eggs had probably been there for a long time. With the wine festival it was very loud until well after 1:00 in the morning and because of the lack of air conditioning...

This is a fantastic hotel, situated close to the centre with great traditional restaurants and bars. Located close to the river for boat trips, cable car rides. They have a fascination with ducks. If the weather is hot ask receptionist for a fan for your room. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff cannot do enough to please.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Trapp! Super convenient location, walking distance to all Rudesheim attractions. Breakfast is included and offered a delicious variety of continental breakfast items and German specialties. We stayed for two nights and our room was kept clean and the view outside our room was priceless. FYI if your room faces the church as ours did, the bells begin ringing at 6am...

We had a wonderful time with the Krancher family in Rüdesheim am Rhein. Our room was newly renovated, modernly furnished and very clean. We also really enjoyed the accommodation near the vineyards and the hospitality in the inn and can highly recommend the food, be it in the morning or in the evening, as well as the wine! We will be back definitely! A little tip: you can book the 5-day midweek offer...

A very friendly family owned hotel in the middle of Rudesheim. Next to the funicular station as well as several restaurants. We had a comfortable and quiet stay there. The only complaint was the limited breakfast choices. Would stay here again

I stayed here on October 31st last year, it was only one night before i dropped a camper back off. The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful in regards to where i could park the camper over night, My room was on the top floor over looking the main road and i couldnt here any noise from my room. The pool is also excellent, its only little but it was relaxing. Very close to the centre of town...

Staff is very friendly, the breakfast ist good, with bread, selected ham and cheese, jams, honey, fish, juices, coffee, tea. Our room was very clean, but it's quite loud with the hotel being next to a busy road. Ask for a room more in the back of the hotel, they'll probably have some rooms left. The hotel has a small wellness section, but it's only for a few guests at a time. Sauna is also only open...

The room accommodations at 189,- Euro per day was the worst I've ever experienced at that price for a supposedly five (5) star hotel. The room temperature was 33-35 C due to the air conditioner not functioning properly and could not cool areas above the first floor. Our room was on the third floor. It was nearly impossible to sleep the first night. On the second day, the hotel provided a ventilator...

I enjoyed the variety of very creative decorated seated areas you can choose from and the atmosphere was very charming with great lighting all through out the hotel and lobby and restaurant /bars

Very relaxed owner, a bit freestyle but super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and quiet, WIFI worked great. Excellent shower. It's all just great value for money. Would definitely go again if needed....
