The Title is an old Danish saying, and it fits in perfectly, as the Hotel owner, Pernille is also Danish, making sure all guests are taking good care of. The staff are super friendly, the rooms a perfectly clean, and people fearing the railway, it's behind the hotel, and with a room facing the Rhein, you do not hear it. Food and drinks are also very good, and the staff here, are also very friendly. As every where in Europe, Hotels/restaurants are lacking people, so sit back, grab an extra glass of wine, enjoy the view, your food is on its way. Make sure to ask Pernille or her son, about good places to pick up wine, I suggest that your try some of them on the wine card, and go buy locally to bring back home. We will for sure be back!!

Unfortunately our experience is rather negative in the restaurant. Our order was forgotten and after waiting 40 minutes and seeing all the tables being served I asked about our food. The waiter told us 5 more minutes, however when I went inside I learned the kitchen will start only now to make our food.( We arrived 2. in the restaurant after opening, and all tables around us where served already with guest who came way later). A lady - perhaps owner- told me she doesn’t care if we just cancel our order we can go, she also told me this isn’t s mcdonald’s and if we want fast food we should go there. Her manner was dismissive, rude and the tone unprofessional. We were then served a hastily made undercooked shrimp salad, a cold main dish and a wiener schnitzel possibly from the freezer. If you are taking the chairlift anyway, then make your way up the hill and the hunting lodge is restaurant is welcoming and a better choice.

The room's view was nice but didn't have a lift, also there was no ventilation in the bathroom which made things complicated.

Nice restaurant with Terrace overlooking the Rhine. Traditional German cuisine with large desert and drinks menu.

I'm very satisfied. It's right by the Rhine River. It's very comfortable to rest under the outdoor vineyards. The handsome guys and beauties in the store are very nice. They recommended the one-day tour route and ticket purchase method of ring ticket. When I checked out, the landlady happened to be there. I was happy to check out the hotel. Say hello and wish you a prosperous business. I will bring my family and friends if I have the opportunity in the future!

Great location on the Rhine with other bars and restaurants close by. Nice eating area outside and very helpful staff. Food was good and the breakfast the same.

Beautiful outdoor restaurant bordering the river, and covered with vines.
Service was very good, while I enjoyed my Jager schnitzel and roasted potatoes very much, my fiance felt her pork medallions tasted off.
We did come back the next day, for coffee and a practice waffle, which were both very enjoyable.

From time to time we run into a really first class Hotel. This one is to be recommended when you travel the Rhine Valley. Rooms are very nice, the outdoor restaurant is super and vith a fantastic view over the river. A very, very nice time with a glass of local wine watching the river Boats passing by. Staff and owner helpful and very nice.

The location on the banks of the Rhine is beautiful. The beautiful, well-kept terrace, a splendor of flowers. The rooms are comfortable (comfort zimmer). Sufficient hooks and shelves in the bathroom to store your things. Safe in the room. Breakfast and dinner were fine. As a comment I would say: more choice in fish and vegetarian dishes. But this probably has to do with understaffing, as I read on the website. Staff was very nice. My Bulga**** employee who provided breakfast. Always friendly and with a smile. It was also nice that our bicycles could be parked inside. And the car in a closed parking lot... We will definitely come back...
