Rheinhotel Lamm

Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.

Lovely hotel just across the road from the Rhein.good food friendly staff nice comfy rooms. Ours was room 10 with partial view of the river. Sufficient to pass the time watching the tour baats and giant cargo boats. Our bathroom was a full size wet room with fantastic walk in shower

Lovely hotel right on the banks of the Rhine in the small village of Assmannshausen, famous for its wine, and just a few kilometres from Rüdesheim. Friendly staff, good food and nice rooms. We stayed in a comfort room overlooking the river, very nice.

Such a cute place to stay. The staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming. It’s right across the river and we had an amazing view. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant had really good quality food and the free breakfast was one of the best I have ever had! I would stay 100 time over here!

Affronting the Rhine, this is an easy to find hotel in a quiet village a few kms from Rudesheim with car parking facilities. Our room was on the first floor. The public areas were a little tired and in need of investment but the room itself was a very pleasant surprise, being large and with a seating area and fully functioning bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style with good choice. The owners/managers did a decent job of controlling the situation. We also had dinner there one night and were served very well by a lady waitress and the food was tasty and good value. As with a lot of hotels like this, investment in the hotel is a continual process and some areas have to be prioritised. I'm sure this is the case here, and at least it is good that the rooms seem to have been put before the ***** areas. As a final note the manager/owner was very helpful providing us with all of the information (and tickets!) to go up the chairlift in Assmannshausen to theNiederwald Forest and do the Romantik Tour to Rudesheim and back. That trip is highly recommended for many reasons.

That's going to be very easy. 5-star right through. Beautiful place right on the Rhine, great view. Excellent room, service, dinner and breakfast. Loved the German delicateseen for breakfast. All kind of sausages, leberwurst Schwartenmagen, etc, and hot buns. People at the reception, I think is a family business, are helpful and friendly. I lost my charger and they lend me one right on the spot. For dinner I had an organic river trout with butter sauce. Delicious. I was very surprised to see that I only paid 10 more euro than I paid to another mid grade hotel in another city. This is nothing considering the quality and location of the gem. Go for it, don't hesitate!
