Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.

A small and friendly team that provides very good service.

The room is decent and suitable for a 3-star hotel. A sort of modernized guesthouse. Spacious shower. Air-conditioned.

Allocated a room overlooking the river - that was a bonus. It was a good size. Part of a coach party so food was allocated - poor choice was hoping for a bit more variety and hotter food. Breakfast was standard continental stuff. No bar area so have to drink at the table. 50 minutes walk to the town centre but, apparently, it is also possible to catch the train. Nothing to do/see around the hotel which, in itself is pretty and old fashioned.

My brother and I were very pleased with this hotel. Very picturesque view and small village. View of two castles from hotel. Lovely. Host was gracious and made point to meet all guests. Food also verry good. Oh and my room with balcony was outstanding!!!

I love this hotel for so many different reasons. The room was very clean and had a nice view. The location was amazing with a direct view to the Rhine valley. The team at the hotel was extremely friendly and they helped us a lot with directions and suggestions.
The food from the hotel restaurant was good.
The view from the balcony was amazing in the night with a great sky full of stars and a complete silence.
The hotel is close to Rheinstein castle, Burg Sooneck and few ruins.
We wish that we had stayed there longer

Very nice hotel and good service. Room was clean and cosy with a nice view over the Rhine. Our daughter cloths needed to be washed after our travel and they washed those for us.

Nice modern restaurant serving local seasonal dishes. The chanterelles and Wildschwein dishes were excellent. Friendly waiter

Great service, a nice location for travel around the region as well as nice food and wine. You also get a discount for the ship tour towards St. Goar as a hotel guest.

Village (assmannhausen) is 9 minutes from Rudesheim which was a little disappointing but owner was very kind and river view was beautiful
