The Best Western Victor’s Residenz-Hotel Rodenhof is a 4 Star business and conference hotel with 100 rooms divided into different categories, conference facilities for up to 100 people, THE RESTAURANT, Victor’s Bar and Victor’s Stube in Bavarian style. Our wellness area with swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and fitness room is perfect for relaxing.
The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area of the district Rodenhof, just a short car journey away from the city centre. You can park your car in front of the hotel for free or with a small surcharge in the hotel garage.
Hotel opened in 1990, renovated in 2010.

Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

I gave the location four stars, as it is in a quiet street, but not quite in the city centre. a walk of ten minutes gets you to the railway station, slap in the centre of town. The quieter location does, however, make parking easier! The rooms vary quite a lot, depending on the class booked, but all are clean and more than adequate. The staff are lovely, and nothing is a trouble. The hotel has both a swimming pool, which is usually pleasantly quiet, and a sauna, steam room, and relaxation room in which guests can chill after their sauna! There is also an outdoor, semi-covered relaxation room, which could perhaps do with a coat of paint before springtime! The relaxed ambience, friendly staff, pool and wellness area, plus the almost-central, but quiet location make this my hotel of choice in Saarbrucken.

We stayed at the hotel with a small child from January 4 to 5. When checking in, we were warned that the restaurant would not be open. But in fact, there was a noisy party for the hotel staff. It is still going on. It is 2 am and the music is blaring and people are shouting along. We went down three times and asked to turn it down. The hotel manager came up to our room, but the music continues to blare. Terrible disrespect for the hotel customers.

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.

This hotel is okay if you’re not depending on public transportation or are a business traveler. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable but not very modern. If you have a lot of luggage or are in a wheelchair, this might not be the right hotel for you. While there are elevators, there are still steps to overcome when entering the hotel and when going to at least some of the rooms. I had two pieces of luggage and was not happy with that.
My main critique point however is the gym. I specifically booked this hotel because they claim they have a gym. There is a fitness room, but there is no treadmill which I consider standard equipment. The elliptical is a squeaky, wobbly piece that I would consider a safety hazard and shouldn’t be there. The hotel has a pool and wellness area which looks nice. However, the pool opens at 8am and if you’re a business traveler like me, I simply didn’t have the time to take a swim that late. Overall, this was a disappointing hotel stay.

Decent enough stay and a nice swimming pool for unwinding after a day of being a tourist. The breakfast is more than excellent. The only complaint is the somewhat lacklustre attitude of the front desk personnel. I usually do not like cockroach in my room, but when I made a point of that, it was made clear to me these insects fly in from the trees. Fair enough. So, if you don't mind that, this is your hotel.

First time visiting the area. The staff was so very nice. They addressed every need I had. The food and restaurant staff was very inventive and nice. Would like to visit again some day.

A terrible place, I would not recommend to anyone. Basic rooms, way to hot with no aircon or fans. Pillows were few and useless. Worst of all the hotel service is terrible. Rude and unhelpful. Breakfast was particular rude and unprofessional. Reception was not any better. Avoid.

We stayed with three couples in this hotel. We were all very satisfied. Everything was tip top. Beautiful large rooms (living room with balcony at the bottom, bedroom and bathroom via a staircase up). Bathroom quite large with bath and glass door for showering. Bathrobes and slippers and extra large bath towels in the closet. A fan (we really needed it...hot days) in the bedroom. Very large bed. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious with a very rich choice of breads and croissants. Many types of toppings. Fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, sausages... and on request they make fried eggs etc. There is a beautiful garden where you can have a drink. We have good memories of Dennis who served us very friendly. The other staff also did their utmost. We dined twice in the form of a delicious buffet and twice with a served 3-course dinner. Here too only praise. In the basement there is a swimming pool (I did not use) and toilets as chic as you only find in a 5-star hotel. We can only warmly recommend this hotel.
