Now they already miss this great hotel experience. We used to walk about 10min to the downtown area and had no worries to find the car a parking lot there
The staff is EXCEPTIONAL, and always provide quick and expedient service. They are all very friendly and eager to please the guests. The restaurant is a great environment, but I have not personally eaten there for dinner
We spent over half a year at one apartment at the hotel. We can't say enough thanks for making space for us during our home renovation
Indeed, this historic family-owned hotel made us feel welcome from the first moment we walked through the door until the last day of our stay. Kids loved the swimming pool and the kind-hearted personnel
I love enjoying my morning coffee and breakfast while reading news and looking out over the treetops below that the view from the breakfast room(s) allow. Each room is decorated differently, and they are all charming
It is also very close to the german-french garten which offers a bunch of outdoor activities over the seasons

If you have a lot of luggage or are in a wheelchair, this might not be the right hotel for you
However, the pool opens at 8am and if you’re a business traveler like me, I simply didn’t have the time to take a swim that late. Overall, this was a disappointing hotel stay
I went to the indoor pool which was about 15 metres long and quite wide and had a very nice swim. There were sunbeds next to the pool and there was a sauna with showers nearby
Decent enough stay and a nice swimming pool for unwinding after a day of being a tourist. The breakfast is more than excellent. The only complaint is the somewhat lacklustre attitude of the front desk personnel
The elliptical is a squeaky, wobbly piece that I would consider a safety hazard and shouldn’t be there. The hotel has a pool and wellness area which looks nice
Very wonderful hotel! I stayed here with some friends a few weeks ago. Very beautiful and semi close to the city. It is a little bit of a walk but there are lots of bikes and scooters in the area

Before we made the reservation i received up to date info and goodwilling from Catherine. Just Perfect it is 5 stars Plus.....
Perfect for a business stay when visiting Saarbruecken. Large rooms, free parking and an excellent breakfast.
Good hotel but not easy to find if you don't use a GPS. Quiet place to stay for sleeping. Takes 10 minutes by car to the center of Saarbrücken. There's a good and cheap Total gas station near the hotel.
it's very cozy and not much expensive. France and German border is just one km away. there is a mc Donald's, dönner shop and pizza restaurant is near by
there is one bus stop just in front of hotel where get bus to hauptbahnhof. there is Edeka and Aldi just 1 km away

There were lots of breakfast options including a lovely egg dish which they could make for you! Everything was clean and overall it was very modern! Would defiantly go back!
Great value for the price! Very clean and centrally located. The breakfast is ok, but nothing special, e. you only get soft-boiled eggs, no other warm dishes
I love this cosy hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and overlooking a quiet little street
WiFi is decent and easy to set up, also if you have multiple devices
Price - performance i. O.. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. A little noisy due to the location on the pedestrian street - in the Evening, the Saarbrücker like to sit out longer . For this, in the Middle of the city ....
For the price of the hotel, I was surprised to find mold in different areas of the shower and dust in areas of the bathroom in particular which took away a great experience. Hopefully the mold experience gets fixed

Check-in and checkouts are quite late which is great, there is no stress of having to get up super early to leave. The pool is also open all day, from 8:00-22:00, we went in the evening and it was completely empty
Has had better days but is still well located, has spacious and tidy rooms for a fair price. A complete breakfast too. The pool is recently renovated and more than ok
They have a nice sauna as well. Breakfast is nice, there are some vegetarian options but I didn't see anything vegan (maybe just some cucumber and tomato but that's not a full breakfast)
A great Hotel in the charge of the 80s. Everything was clean and the people at the reception left the spa area on for 30 extra minutes for me
I can highly recommend this place for people who look for a nice overnight stay while working in Saarbrücken
Room was a bit cold (it's now late September) but overall nice and comfortable

We had no problem getting parking! There was no hair dryer in the room and there was only one roll of toilet paper 🙈 Room was clean! Price - performance is right!
Spontaneous and nice reception, sweetly prepared breakfast at the table, bathroom very narrow. Perfectly adequate for one night
Small cozy hotel, delicious breakfast and friendly people. 50m also laterally under trees
The Hotel is situated in a quiet location, the city centre is easily and quickly accessible, the rooms are bright, spacious and clean - disruptive only a slight smell of cigarette smoke, the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the Breakfast in the beautiful Breakfast room is tidy - Extra wishes are no Problem, the Restaurant food is additionally to choose from during the week, a low...

We used the Spa Facilities (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, plunge pool, hot beds, feet therapy basins, showers, sun room) which was a DELIGHT that is well looked after and clean! The restaurant is GREAT! I would suggest booking a table in advance as it is a popular choice in the area
The Hotel is a Wellness Hotel which offers whirlpool, sauna, solarium and even a Pool outside of the weather gets better. The Hotel works with a therapeut which offers loads of things
We booked massages which were amazing! The Hotel is located in a quiet area as it is a just outside of the CIty-Centre. The breakfast was well catered for
Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer mit Bädern, gutes Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee und für den Abend schmackhafre Biere... würde wieder buchen...
With the Sengscheider Hof as a Hotel, I am very satisfied. The staff are very competent, the rooms clean for us, the Spa area well equipped.
We visited Hotel Sengscheider Hof for a weekend. The hotel is well looked after and clean

Very clean and nice hotel. Well located. Breakfast is a bit confusing now during corona as you don't get told that yo u have the option to order coffee and eggs. Despite that it is a great experience in all!
The hotel offers a free buffet breakfast and a free pass for transportation with which you can travel almost the entire city. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the reception staff
The Intercity Hotel is almost centrally located, near to the banks of river Saar. Also it is walkable distance from Saarbrücken Bahnhof
The hotel is pretty clean and well maintained, cozy ambiance, good room service as well. There is a restaurant, Bistro Lounge, and Bar
All necessary information is written in both English and German language, even staff members speak both Languages
It‘s InterCity, so you know what you get. Good value for the price you pay! Good location right next to the Mainstation.

It is a nice place, everything is clean and the staff is very receptive. There is a good wine collection ?. The city surprised me pleasantly.
I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy
The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay
Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Right next to the Congresshalle and the pedestrian zone. The underground parking is passable but a bit narrow. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom clean
Overall nice hotel with large rooms and good breakfast. Parking is small in front of the hotel. But the bar and restaurant do not work on Sundays and restaurant also on Saturdays which is odd
Nice hotel, great staff! Simple room design, uncluttered (but could use another chair or two). Restaurant serves really delicious food. Salad, burger, desserts were all really good.

You can enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast table is also very rich and varied
We had a lovely stay at the hotel (adults + 2 children)
we found the room (junior suite) to be large and specious
the service at the reception was very friendly and supportive !
the hotel has underground parking where one can also charge the E-car , very useful !
it is just a little outside the city center (15min drive with bus)
but located near a lovely park
Excellent 4S Hotel.
Service in the restaurant and hotel was exceptionally good.
Food quality at the French brasserie is worth a detour.
Very cosy setting.
Location offers parking.
A park in front of the hotel.
This place has become through years a landmark, a haven of peace. Friendly staff, everything is enjoyable, The restaurant brasserie is exceptional, you are always served cordially and in style
We have been there many times and every time was perfect. This is pet friendly hotel and our two cats enjoyed quality time with us there very much. All rooms are cozy, nice and very clean
so that has its advantages
all in all, would recommend it
lastly - breakfast was also good, with a large variety and options
staff also there - friendly and useful

Excellent place to stay in. Clean. Safe. Quiet The staff very helpful and friendly. Strongly recommended
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The breakfast is particularly nice with a good variety of both sweet and salty things.
While spacious, the one assigned to us was on the ground floor facing the road (keep your blinds closed) and unevenly heated (in the heat of the summer, aircon only reaching one bedroom, and a portable fan was put in the other)
Friendly and welcoming staff!
I'd rate it ok if you're in transit through the city (as it was the case for us), but would consider similarly priced options closer to the city center for an extended stay
The location is quite far from the city center and opposite a bus deposit
Travelling with the family, we went for the superior apartment

Anti covid measures were in place, such as a screen at reception, hand sanitizer at reception , members of staff wearing masks most of the time, one way system to get to the restaurant for breakfast with mandatory use of gloves (which were provided on entrance, to be wore straight there after having used the hand sanitizer) and masks to be used when getting food at the buffet
The only things to improve are being clearer on the parking situation ie you need to book parking when you reserve the room ; being clearer on covid measures taken eg signs were mostly in German; the floor in the room was a bit dated and worn out; it would have been good to have a fridge in the room
The baby cot was of good quality and so were our beds. Breakfast was exceptional, with good quality products, a wide range of choice and quick service. Members of staff were helpful and polite
This hotel met our expectations, based on the description and the price. The hotel was very central yet in a quiet road. The room was big, clean and quiet (we asked for a quiet room)
The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are big and comfortable. There is a big selection of food for breakfast and everything is fresh and tasty. The staff is polite and helpful
Superb value for money, one of the best breakfast / brunch buffets ever. Rooms are also nice, and clean, the mattress on the beds are firm enough for a good sleep
