I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The breakfast is particularly nice with a good variety of both sweet and salty things.

We have been there many times and every time was perfect. This is pet friendly hotel and our two cats enjoyed quality time with us there very much. All rooms are cozy, nice and very clean. You can enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast table is also very rich and varied.

Great staff service and breakfast, nicely decorated. Unfortunately the rooms on the road side are very noisy, trafffic is trough the night due to nextdoor casino. There is no airconditioning so with higher temperatures you are forced to open the windows. They do give you earplugs..

We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. We discovered it during lockdown and wanted to go again. We were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and we had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

Just spent one night at this hotel as part of the Middleton's tour to Lake Garda. I have found this hotel very clean, very comfortable, staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms are fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, tea and coffee and also bottled water. Would I stay here again, yes I would. AAA

It is a good hotel in the middle of saarbruken and a close walk to restaurants and the river front. The rooms were okay and curtains that block out lights is a plus. The rooms were comfortable and have a good climate control system which is quiet. The rooms are pretty silent in the night as well. I would recommend a stay at this hotel if you need a place to stay or are just passing through.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Superb location less than 5 minutes walk from the shopping area of the city and the main railway station, my room had a nice view over the River Saar. There is one big problem with this hotel - lack of parking spaces. Only 10 places near the entrance and around 15-20 in garage, but around 100 rooms on the hotel. Within walking distance of baunhoff. Staff was kind enough to hold our luggage after checkout as we explored the city for no additional cost. Room was clean and well-kept, though I'm not a fan of carpeted hotel rooms. I like that you need a card to turn the electricity on for the room and the mini fridge is kept unplugged— very eco!

The hotel is located in a less than ideal location if you’re walking or don’t have transportation. I paid for a Penthouse suite and unfortunately the A/C was not working and after being moved to a second room and having the same issue I decided to stay at a different hotel. Superb value for money, one of the best breakfast / brunch buffets ever. Rooms are also nice, and clean, the mattress on the beds are firm enough for a good sleep. (In the wall between the WC in the bathroom and the beds can be some frosted glass, if you do mind that.)

Nice sized bedrooms with very comfy bed and with the slightly unusual feature of the sink outside the bathroom! Breakfast staff were a bit aloof but the food itself was very good. Room was not what I requested. Had a bed upstairs. Spiral staircase. It was hot upstairs. They said they only had one room that looked like the one I booked with only one level and large bed. Did not try to satisfy the customer, only that I was wrong and not rooms like I ordered available. The woman managing the breakfast was awesome and does a great job. The restaurant food was great.

Beautiful newer hotel and spa at a peaceful location. Seren surroundings at a small lake having a nearby great beer garden and alp style hut restaurant. Food was good service friendly. Very nice and cozy place in the forest that is ideal for a family lunch. The dining room is spacious and the staff is quite kids friendly. The food is always very good and the prices are very fair. When the weather is good the kids can play in the garden where they have some toys etc.

Great location and friendly staff. Also food and drinks are nice IF the kitchen and its personnel is not understaffed. Unfortunately that was the case in marriage season when the kloster had a lot of guest. You would expect better for the high upper range prices you pay here.

A calm and pleasant stay, beautifully decorated and romantic. Extremely warm and friendly staff. Special extra care for the little ones and they make the experience very private. Highly recommend the restaurant too, healthy and tasty at the same time. Vegetarian options could be increased.

We appreciated the very friendly staff and hotel owner, the fabulous location and garden, as well as the rich breakfast buffet.

I have been there dozens of times, and every year on our way to family in Germany. Best local cuisine ever. We always had a large beer 'Helles vom Fass', followed by Pork Medallions and pommes. And the view of the winding river (Saarschleife) is memorable. Will go back this summer.
