I came to this city on a business trip. It borders France, and the hotel is in a very good location in the city center with a particularly nice environment. There are beautiful views of the river.

Nothing too good and too bad just an average hotel.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

The location was good. Hotel was just 10 minutes away from the main square train station was also 11 minutes staff were good. They allow the checkout upon request. It’s a good location And good hotel.

Stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. Easy and efficient check-in, very friendly and helpful staff; despite a late check-in, I was still offered full choice of the menu for an evening meal. Decent hotel outside Saarbrücken, it's a bit older, but still pretty nice. The breakfast was quite good, lots to choose from! Getting to downtown Saarbrücken was also not too bad, takes about 10 minutes, but finding parking is another challenge

Nice hotel built in the 80s with elegant lobby. Unfortunately, it was built before regulations for barrier free accessibility came to place and wouldn’t really be usable by anyone in a wheelchair. There is a flight of stairs to get from the street to the reception and there are steps in the dining area.

So clean. Suoer clean hotel and room , great value, large room, friendly staff. Located on the edge of Saarbrucken but close to city centre. Easy to find, parking across the road. Not much amenities close to the hotel but great for a one night stay whike travelling.

You wouldn't expect such a beautiful hotel in this location. Everything about it was wonderful. Very clean, Big room, modern bathroom. Service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was very nice.

Superb value for money, one of the best breakfast / brunch buffets ever. Rooms are also nice, and clean, the mattress on the beds are firm enough for a good sleep. (In the wall between the WC in the bathroom and the beds can be some frosted glass, if you do mind that.)

Nice sized bedrooms with very comfy bed and with the slightly unusual feature of the sink outside the bathroom! Breakfast staff were a bit aloof but the food itself was very good. We had some issues with the lack of air conditioning which we thought we were getting as advertised on website. We will avoid here in August again until ac is guaranteed.

It was hard to make sure I was at the correct location because the Hotel sign is just a poster on the store front window. Once inside, the staff was helpful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. The location is very walkable to the main square and events I attended.

An AMAZING hotel with awesome staff and convenient to walking around town. Parking is great right around the corner. They have an amazing bio breakfast at a GREAT price. This is a family run hotel for over 50 year and they are super friendly! We highly recommend!!!!

This hotel is a “Budget Hotel” good for business and short term stays. The service is great and for the price the value is good. The location is very central and you can access the city center easily. The breakfast is good and the service at breakfast is great, have a chat with the servers and learn about the surroundings.

Nice, clean rooms. The size is good and there is everything you need, although the whole interior is a bit old school. They got a nice breakfast buffet, where everyone might find something. But with 11 Euro per person it's a bit on the price side, compared to what they offer. The personal has always been nice and helpful.

Not so good could be stayed for sleep and leave A bit out of the city , room heating was not working , breakfast not much choice when compare with other mercure hotels . In room even there was no drink water tea etc.

We were invited to stay at Hotel Bruchwiese sister hotel, came with beer garden & meals were delicious,our host Claudia was fantastic so quiet amongst the trees , I thoroughly recommend this Hotel & the best so far in 2 weeks we have been in Germany I will remember!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially the decor of the room and the stencils. It was quaint. Be prepared you will need to have standard electrical chargers as there are no ports for USB or USC charging stations. Otherwise its a convenient and easy hotel to stay, the desk staff spoke excellent English, very helpful.

Stayed here in July 2018 for 10 nights. I booked the single room with shared bathroom but was upgraded to the single room + personal bathroom. I arrived late to Saarbrücken so by the time I arrive the hotel (8.00pm), the reception was closed. Pedestrians helped to call using the German instruction on the door so I could access my key. A good quality budget hotel that met expectations. A safe, clean hotel to stay on a long journey. Take the breakfast option, good value and available from 06.30 There is a REWE supermarket open until 20.00 5 mins from the hotel.

This hotel is an unexpected gem. The entry level "cosy room" category we booked was a delight; high ceilings, beautiful light, flawless design (they designed and made their own shower tiles) and immaculate house keeping. We stayed overnight in this relaxing quiet hotel during our Europe trip. Breakfast was very delicious. Employee are very friendly and polite. Atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing and comfortable. Location is great.

For the price it exceeded expectations: the rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable and the sheets very nice. On a hot day it can be too warm in the rooms on the upper floors.
