Really nice hotel, the great thing about intercity hotels in general is that public transport is included. This hotel is definitely much nicer than other intercity hotels I've been to in the past.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Overall nice hotel with large rooms and good breakfast. Parking is small in front of the hotel. But the bar and restaurant do not work on Sundays and restaurant also on Saturdays which is odd

Superb location less than 5 minutes walk from the shopping area of the city and the main railway station, my room had a nice view over the River Saar. There is one big problem with this hotel - lack of parking spaces. Only 10 places near the entrance and around 15-20 in garage, but around 100 rooms on the hotel. Within walking distance of baunhoff. Staff was kind enough to hold our luggage after checkout as we explored the city for no additional cost. Room was clean and well-kept, though I'm not a fan of carpeted hotel rooms. I like that you need a card to turn the electricity on for the room and the mini fridge is kept unplugged— very eco!

We have been there many times and every time was perfect. This is pet friendly hotel and our two cats enjoyed quality time with us there very much. All rooms are cozy, nice and very clean. You can enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast table is also very rich and varied.

Great staff service and breakfast, nicely decorated. Unfortunately the rooms on the road side are very noisy, trafffic is trough the night due to nextdoor casino. There is no airconditioning so with higher temperatures you are forced to open the windows. They do give you earplugs..

We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. We discovered it during lockdown and wanted to go again. We were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and we had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

Great room, very spacious and clean. Staff were excellent and helped where possible. We had car trouble when we tried to leave and the staff were great! They tried helping to start our car and when that wasn't possible they called the mechanics for us.

The hotel is located in a less than ideal location if you’re walking or don’t have transportation. I paid for a Penthouse suite and unfortunately the A/C was not working and after being moved to a second room and having the same issue I decided to stay at a different hotel. The room (and staff) was aesthetically pleasing, unfortunately the room was just too hot to handle.

Nice hotel right in the heart of Saarbrücken. Short walk to the station and right in the city center. The breakfast buffet area is cozy and the ladies running it exceptionally friendly! I loved their home made woodruff jam. When I asked whether I could buy a jar to take home, they gave me one for free! Definitively have a taste!

Really nice hotel for the price. The rooms are a little small but it's a great price for being right in the middle of downtown Saarbrücken and you can walk to just about anywhere in town. They have an agreement with the q park Beethoven to get you free parking if you stay here as well.

Very cozy and right in the center of Saarbrucken which was very convenient. For the price of the hotel, I was surprised to find mold in different areas of the shower and dust in areas of the bathroom in particular which took away a great experience. Hopefully the mold experience gets fixed

I love this cosy hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and overlooking a quiet little street. There were lots of breakfast options including a lovely egg dish which they could make for you! Everything was clean and overall it was very modern! Would defiantly go back!

Splendid! Clean environment, lounge music and friendly staff. No loud noises from the street and perfect for small business meetings. Only the coffee was not so good I've to admire. The furniture is chilling and the tables are giving enough place to work and be creative. Will come again!

Nice and cosy hotel. Yes it smells a bit cigarette in the corridor but an hotel cannot be responsible for having piggy clients. The guy at the reception is just old but he smiled at me like my old grandpa used to even if I can barely speak German.

Good budget hotel sandwiched between an industrial area and housing. Several restaurants within 20 min walk. Rooms very clean with adequate facilities. Best to keep windows closed to exclude street/tram noise from one side and collection of a/c units on the other. Staff very pleasant and speak English. Decent continental breakfast for about €7. Stayed here one night and for 40 euros for 3 people, I have nothing to complain about. The room for clean. check-in was easy. There is free parking and the breakfast was ok. This hotel is perfect if you just need a place to sleep.

It's hard to review this kind of hotel. Cheap and cheerful. The room was basic, but clean. Fine for an overnight stop while traveling through Europe. But nothing special. We did have an issue with the heading in the room making it very warm, and while it's on a main road opening a window is too noisy. But for 53 Euros you can't complain about a decent sleep.

I arrived late to Saarbrücken so by the time I arrive the hotel (8.00pm), the reception was closed. Pedestrians helped to call using the German instruction on the door so I could access my key. Rooms are a bit dated and if you are looking for more luxury you should skip this hotel. Parking spaces can be difficult to find in this neighborhood.
