A small and fine Hotel with very good Restaurant, very friendly staff and all the amenities for a business trip. Cleanliness and prices top.

You wouldn't expect such a beautiful hotel in this location. Everything about it was wonderful. Very clean, Big room, modern bathroom. Service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was very nice.

The staff was very nice, helpful and also to the late hour. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate in a nice atmosphere. To recommend for the WE with the family or for business people without any restrictions

While spacious, the one assigned to us was on the ground floor facing the road (keep your blinds closed) and unevenly heated (in the heat of the summer, aircon only reaching one bedroom, and a portable fan was put in the other)

Friendly and welcoming staff! I'd rate it ok if you're in transit through the city (as it was the case for us), but would consider similarly priced options closer to the city center for an extended stay

The location is quite far from the city center and opposite a bus deposit

Excellent 4S Hotel. Service in the restaurant and hotel was exceptionally good. Food quality at the French brasserie is worth a detour. Very cosy setting. Location offers parking. A park in front of the hotel.

Excellent hotel food and restaurant service extremely good. The only downside are the reception staff- very miserable.

The rooms have warm atmosphere, overall I would say it is one of the best addresses I know as a professional on the road

You can enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast table is also very rich and varied

Indeed, this historic family-owned hotel made us feel welcome from the first moment we walked through the door until the last day of our stay. Kids loved the swimming pool and the kind-hearted personnel

During the New Year's Eve we stood at the aisle window and got a fabulous view over the fireworks above the city. Thanks again for being such a gracious host!

Now they already miss this great hotel experience. We used to walk about 10min to the downtown area and had no worries to find the car a parking lot there

Good location and close to lots of restaurants and bars but rooms are smaller than average in the area for the price. Parking is also tricky with parking only free after 6pm.

The room size is small but the staff is very nice and helpful. Plus the breakfast is really nice. And the location is perfect.

I would consider it mainly if you travel alone and for a few days, though: rooms are very tiny. Three stars just to not give a wrong idea on the hotel rating (this is not a 4 stars hotel)

I managed to get a room with an electronic bed that is similar and as good as the zero gravity bed and the shower had this special spa shower that smoothed the skin in the winter months

Nice rooms in a modern style hotel. center of town 50m to town square. Friendly Saarland regional atmosphere (think of some mixture between German, French and the Hobbits of the shire) great service

The hotel was lovely and walking distance to everything we planned on doing. The breakfast was outstanding and even had crispy bacon, not normal in most European hotels - it’s usually undercooked and floppy

The front desk and the breakfast room staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely looking for a time where we can go to Homburg just so we can stay here again

Very friendly staff, good meals, and located in a good area. Breakfast and lunch were well made, but the price for the special (9,10) seemed a little much for my lunch

Beautiful newer hotel and spa at a peaceful location. Seren surroundings at a small lake having a nearby great beer garden and alp style hut restaurant. Food was good service friendly

In the morning have a good swimm in the pool wich was good idea before breakfast and long drive ahead. In the bar lot of choice and again a really friendly man

We stay only for one night after a long drive, and was really good to relax in spa and after have a delicius and good portion of dinner

We just showed up to the restaurant 30 minutes before they open. The restaurant was fully reserved but Lino came down from heaven like an Angel to save our life. He gave us a table and told us we have so much time to eat

The views are beautiful, spa is very relaxing, rooms are spacious and very clean and food is wonderful. They were even able to make food accommodations for my daughter that has very strict food restrictions

They also offer a lot of activities, you can either spend your time relaxing as we did or actively riding bikes or going on paddle boats as my kids took advantage of that. I’m so glad we found this place

I couldn't have stayed at a better place. The service provided at the Wendels was exceptional. It really helped that breakfast was prepared in the mornings and the service that was rendered was very tasteful

I like that fact that the room had a DVD player with movies. My room was always comfortable to walk in after a long day of work. I must say this was a very pleasant place to stay

In July 2014 we had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Angels am Fruchtmarkt. The hotel accommodation was good and the restaurant facing the square with the old church was comfortable. The service was good and flexible

A really nice hideaway in a quiet and very green area of the Saarland. The rooms are space, the wellness and spa area is new, clean and invites to relax and the different golf courses can be reached in less than a minute

Well suited for people who want to hike and bike. The highlight of the hotel is the beautiful pool which we unfortunately could not use because the weather did not cooperate

Amazing hotel in a lovely little village in a lovely part of Germany, on arrival the staff are so friendly, welcoming and so helpful, the hotel has plenty of safe good parking, lovely hotel inside very clean tidy very well decorated looks all newly decorated, very relaxing warm hotel with a lovely vibe, rooms are lovely and spacious very clean and tidy, with drinks in room, bed is comfortable, bathroom...

I have been there dozens of times, and every year on our way to family in Germany. We always had a large beer 'Helles vom Fass', followed by Pork Medallions and pommes

So much to do in the surrounding area: The Saarschleife, great bike paths, watersports on the river apple picking in Merzig :) I will be back with my family for sure
