Clean and cozy. Excellent mattress. I would consider it mainly if you travel alone and for a few days, though: rooms are very tiny. Three stars just to not give a wrong idea on the hotel rating (this is not a 4 stars hotel).

A pleasant experience. The staff was very kind. The breakfast had everything you normally would eat in the morning (instant pancake machine is a nice extra). Nice and cosy hotel. Yes it smells a bit cigarette in the corridor but an hotel cannot be responsible for having piggy clients. The guy at the reception is just old but he smiled at me like my old grandpa used to even if I can barely speak German.

I typically have no issues with this hotel but this stay lasted 3 hrs the room felt dirty upon walking in so I left to get food and when I came back to shower that was the last straw the bathroom was dirty almost like they forgot to clean it and the toilet was recently used and dirty!! Nice, clean rooms. The size is good and there is everything you need, although the whole interior is a bit old school. They got a nice breakfast buffet, where everyone might find something. But with 11 Euro per person it's a bit on the price side, compared to what they offer. The personal has always been nice and helpful.

Nothing too good and too bad just an average hotel.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Me and another 5 friends stayed there on April 4 2012. What can I say, it shows a 2 star hotel at the entrance but let me tell you, I have been many places and usually a 2 star is a 2 star, but for this one in particular the stars do not make justice! It is impeccable, looks and must be new, it is extremely clean and modern throughout, starting from the rooms and all the way down to the dining area...

It was hard to make sure I was at the correct location because the Hotel sign is just a poster on the store front window. Once inside, the staff was helpful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. The location is very walkable to the main square and events I attended.

I love this cosy hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and overlooking a quiet little street.
