You need to leave the window open in summer as there is no AC, and the hotel's surroundings were a bit noisy at night (drunkards chatting and laughing loud until 3am in the nearby parking lot near the railway station). Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast where you have a nice selection at the buffet and can also order freshly made eggs and other items. Most of the rooms face the market square, so it can be a little noisy even at night. Some parking is available right behind the hotel which is convenient, as it's right in the middle of town.

Price performance was great. Apparently the room was newly renovated. Breakfast was good. We also ate dinner there, everything was great, gladly again.

Favorite restaurant! Very cozy atmosphere with great food at very good prices. The quality of the meat is excellent and the beef fillet always has the desired cooking point (even if several people have different wishes). The weekly menu and the hotel's recommendations, which are adapted to the season, add variety to the menu. Always happy 👍🏼

Hotel is small but very fine. The rooms are well equipped and above all really clean. The breakfast is very positive, but also, and this is even more important, the family hospitality.

A pleasant experience. The staff was very kind. The breakfast had everything you normally would eat in the morning (instant pancake machine is a nice extra). The room is very clean. 2 pillows (soft and hard) per person makes it easier to fall asleep. Environment friendly solution with the towels and soap for the bathroom.

This is a brand-new hotel, and in a very good location. The rooms were faultless, and the breakfast just what we needed. The staff were very helpful and polite. Overall a very pleasant hassle-free stay.

We have been there many times and every time was perfect. This is pet friendly hotel and our two cats enjoyed quality time with us there very much. All rooms are cozy, nice and very clean. You can enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast table is also very rich and varied.

Great staff service and breakfast, nicely decorated. Unfortunately the rooms on the road side are very noisy, trafffic is trough the night due to nextdoor casino. There is no airconditioning so with higher temperatures you are forced to open the windows. They do give you earplugs..

We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. We discovered it during lockdown and wanted to go again. We were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and we had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

Nice and cosy hotel. Yes it smells a bit cigarette in the corridor but an hotel cannot be responsible for having piggy clients. The guy at the reception is just old but he smiled at me like my old grandpa used to even if I can barely speak German.

Room are clean and comfortable. Only downside I saw was that while showering water would flush down very slowly so I was always standing in water but that is only a small problem.

I typically have no issues with this hotel but this stay lasted 3 hrs the room felt dirty upon walking in so I left to get food and when I came back to shower that was the last straw the bathroom was dirty almost like they forgot to clean it and the toilet was recently used and dirty!! When I went to get my refund I was told that I had to pay for 1 full night even though I stayed for less than 3

Nice little hotel. Well suited for people who want to hike and bike. The highlight of the hotel is the beautiful pool which we unfortunately could not use because the weather did not cooperate. But the owner and the whole crew are very nice and persistent and child-friendly.

This hotel is a “Budget Hotel” good for business and short term stays. The service is great and for the price the value is good. The location is very central and you can access the city center easily. The breakfast is good and the service at breakfast is great, have a chat with the servers and learn about the surroundings.

Nice, clean rooms. The size is good and there is everything you need, although the whole interior is a bit old school. They got a nice breakfast buffet, where everyone might find something. But with 11 Euro per person it's a bit on the price side, compared to what they offer. The personal has always been nice and helpful.

Just spent one night at this hotel as part of the Middleton's tour to Lake Garda. I have found this hotel very clean, very comfortable, staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms are fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, tea and coffee and also bottled water. Would I stay here again, yes I would. AAA

It is a good hotel in the middle of saarbruken and a close walk to restaurants and the river front. The rooms were okay and curtains that block out lights is a plus. The rooms were comfortable and have a good climate control system which is quiet. The rooms are pretty silent in the night as well. I would recommend a stay at this hotel if you need a place to stay or are just passing through.

I've been staying at Mercure Hotel Saarbrucken City multiple times for business. The hotel has the right balance of clean and cosy. The reception, the hotel and the rooms has interior design that's not too posh, modern or cold (souless). Instead, it just hit the sweetspot of being able to feel like home. I'm always looking forward to my stay.

Room was clean and well-kept, though I'm not a fan of carpeted hotel rooms. I like that you need a card to turn the electricity on for the room and the mini fridge is kept unplugged— very eco!

The hotel is located in a less than ideal location if you’re walking or don’t have transportation. I paid for a Penthouse suite and unfortunately the A/C was not working and after being moved to a second room and having the same issue I decided to stay at a different hotel. The room (and staff) was aesthetically pleasing, unfortunately the room was just too hot to handle.
