I stayed in an attic room because I wanted to try it out. The view of the Rhine River was amazing. The room was clean and quiet, so I was able to relax. The food was delicious, and the view was great.

Amazing place! Nothing could have been better- the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfy, quiet, and clean, and as for the location - it's a CASTLE, it's in the best spot for the best views (they wanted to make sure no one was sneaking up on them, we just want to see the beauty of the area).

This is a 4-star hotel for sure. The location is high above the Rhine River, providing breathtaking views of the river valley and surrounding vineyards.

Beautiful location, excellent facilities and friendly staff. I travelled by bike with my family and they offered us a locked place to store the bikes overnight which is a big plus. The view from the restaurant and the terrace is stunning. Highly recommended!

Great location, near the Lorelei. Quiet area, clean rooms, great dining options. We stayed in the villa and our corner room overlooking the Rhine was a great view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definately would stay there again.

Sebastian was an incredible host from the moment we arrived. His hotel is fantastic and we would recommend it to anyone. He suggested excellent restaurants in the area and also activities. Rooms were great, breakfast was great, and the staff was great. We would love to return to this hotel again!

Very nice host who was super motivated to get me something vegan to eat and even tried to consider my fructose intolerance. That was pretty surprising. He was very chatty and helpful in general. Only spent 2 days there, but if I would go to sankt Goar again, I'd be for sure try to go there again!

Schnitzel and Pike fish - recommended! Also three ways to cook potatoes. Stay away from red wine, however.

Very nice small hotel and restaurant. Third generation family business led by Sebastion who is the head chef. He is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our food and stay very much. Sebastion loaned us his bicycles and advice for a wonderful tour.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The food had a very good taste. Quality and quantity were good as well. The waiter was also nice and friendly. Finally, on our 3rd evening in the area, we could pay by card (Maestro).

Nice hotel places closely to hiking trails towards the Lorelei. Alternatively it's a close location for taking the ferry to the Lorelei. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms and the breakfast is super good! Good for families with kids too

We were on a long weekend in St. Goar and has approached us in the Hotel on the Internet. All in all, it was good. The rooms were reasonably furnished in a modern style, the bathrooms, the age of the building is set up accordingly. An old Cabinet with mirror, old dowel holes, and dust the top of the cabinets, however, shows that not everything is top. The situation is, even if it is in St. Goar due...

Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen. Habe den Pfälzer Saumagen mit Sauerkraut und Bratkartoffeln genommen. Sehr lecker, vorallem das Sauerkraut war sehr gut. Allerdings waren gerade die Portionen der Beilagen sehr gering ausgefallen.

Essen war sehr Lecker, nur waren die Portionen klein und man wurde nicht satt. Bedienung war sehr nett.

The food is Great after coming down the Rhine River from Mainz. Alot of shops to get gifts for friends and family. The RHINE WINES are available in most hotels and all restaurants . It's a great turn around spot to head back up the Rhine River

The rooms are very tasteful and beautiful. Also clean. It was stupid that the shower mixer in the bathroom didn't work. Sometimes ice cold water came suddenly. The breakfast was really good. Great fruit and everything else was delicious too. From there you can hike well!

Very nice hosts. Restaurant furniture is a bit old, but has its charm. Breakfast was delicious. Everything you need. If something is missing, just ask the innkeepers, they make everything possible. Bicycles can be parked in the basement.

Very kind service, lots of excellent tasting food e.g. olive oil, sausage and honey/grappa based spirit all home made. Highly recommended!

The family who run Zur Post were absolutely lovely and provided a lovely room and a great breakfast. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area again!

The shampoo in our room was empty and the door to our room was hard to close. On the other hand, the room was spacious, nicely decorated, and breakfast was very good. Overall, nice hotel for a good price.

I stayed with my young family of 4 for one night on our road trip down to Tuscany. What a unique experience to stay in such a wonderful castle. We loved the food especially the spaghetti. We stay in a queen room which was large and well appointed. The grounds and view are superb. Very friendly staff too. Great stay.

Wow wow wow. This is a wonderful place to stay. Fabulous views over the Rhine from some rooms and dinner on the terrace. Food at dinner was good, nice touches in room like free sherry and water. No hot drink facilities but they will give you a flask if you have your own tea/coffee. Rooms wonderfully traditional (tester or 4 poster beds) and the castle is wonderful and lovely gardens to explore too...

Beautiful experience as a family of 4. Last stayed here in the same room when I was the age of my 10 year old daughter and it was just as magical. So well maintained. Just as I remembered it. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a sense of history. The rooms are very beautiful. The welcome wine, sherry, is delicious. There are a variety of free drinks in the refrigerator. We were walking with nine women and two dogs. The staff was exceptional friendly and competent. The view off the terrace was wounderfull. The rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The Sauna was a treat. The food was excellent. We had a perfect stay.

Excellent location for hiking and relaxing if you like isolation. The rooms are well equipped. However, my room did not have a refrigerator. The breakfast selection is good and the service was very courteous.

This property is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous vistas all around. Everything was very clean, the people were friendly, and the restaurant was delicious. We were not happy with our room however. Wish I had stayed longer! The hotel was very nice--my room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The view over fields and open spaces was especially nice. The restaurant was exceptional--I am so happy I chose half board--the evening dinner was very good! I will come back!

A real gem of a hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are beautifully finished. The staff are all very welcoming and the food is excellent. If you are in the area this is the place to stay. I will certainly be back and next time it will be for longer.

The hotel is very nicely located, also ideally located on the Rheinsteig. The room was great, even though it was facing the car park. It was very quiet at night. The booked menu in the evening was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the wines are all very good. The staff were friendly and dealt with a hiker traveling alone in a professional manner. We will stay here again. Great beds in a good sized room and everything is really clean. Breakfast is very good, but diner..... this is what we call perfect! Compliments to the chef! Good tourist class hotel. National coach holidays used the Wagner in place of the Kurfurst which has been permanently closed due to the cost of updating its fire control plan with the local fire brigade. Hotel had a stand alone outside lift which helps folk get to their rooms along with internal lifts but not to the restaurant which has stairs that must be used to gain access. Free bar from 9 to 1...

Fantastic . Mareus and staff friendly and fun. Can't recommend it enough. Felt like one of a big family, they just couldn't do enough for us. Congratulations to the chef food was amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We arrived at 22.00 and was served a 3 course meal. The well-being suite was great...and after a day sight seeing was lovely to have a sauna and power showers..towels were provided. The breakfast is continental but enough to go around everyone. Evening is a set meal but I sure if you had dietary needs would be accommodated. We were a coach party of 50. Entertainment...

Good location, traditional and vintage place with the basic needs to stay for a short time , the room small but cozy, very colorful. In the night it was loud because of the train passing, and too hot in summer (no air conditioning, but ventilator) . Breakfast included , not much variety but it was fine. Service was friendly

Great value for the money. We arrived at 11.00 in the evening. We couldnt find a reception, because it doesnt have a sign on the door, but there was someone to help us out with the keys.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-nights-stay here. Had booked the Deluxe Suite with Whirlpool. While the decor may not be to everyone's taste - the bed was huge and comfortable, the shower was spacious and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was extensive and offered something for everyone. Would absolutely recommend!

Historic hotel in a perfect location. New renovations are very nice, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was well stocked with all the normal things! Staff was very friendly went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended

We had an excellent stay here. They are going for a boutique hotel vibe. The location is perfect; it’s right in the center of town. Air conditioning worked great which is hard to come by in Germany. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and felt luxurious. Highly recommend!

Great place, an historical building that was the most elegant and it's still the best in town. The food is very traditional, but of high quality. Even though I'm not a big fan of meaty traditional German food, here I had the best Sauerbraten so far. The service is friendly and welcoming. Will come back again!

Solid choice for Bacharach: The inn is right in the heart of the village with its picturesque facade. Service and facilities are good but could be freshened up. The room decor is a bit dated. Good value for money right now. The breakfast is good and I enjoyed dinner at the restaurant as well.

This is a wonderful family run(4 generations), hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable.The location is right in the center of town, yet quiet and peaceful. The daily breakfast is very tasty, with so many choices. It is included in the price of your room. You can't miss this "on the Rhine" location. We wish we could have spent more time here, and left feeling like family!

We had an incredible lunch here and partook in a wine tasting. It was a little under 18 euro and it came with 6 mini carafes of wine. There were different options depending on what your taste in wine was, so you can adjust your order to your preference. For lunch, the pumpkin cream soup was amazing. Honestly so delicious. I would have liked it if came with a slice of two of bread but the wine tasting...

Perfect!!! We stayed in one of their apartments, it was clean and had EVERYTHING you would ever need. WE LOVED IT!!!! Location can’t be beat and the staff was nothing but wonderful, especially the young man at front desk!!!!! Just can’t say enough positive about this place!!! The food was quite limited and sometimes slightly salty, the room sizes were inadequate and the WIFI was unfunctioning. I was staying as part of a school trip so I suppose usually the food is to a better standard and that less beds would be in one room. The views were very nice though, with the balcony overlooking the River Rhine. So it is adequate to stay in but things could be improved upon.

Stayed here on a trip with the school. Very good for school parties. Some rooms could do with refurbishment. Food was OK, but the buffet was too small for the number of people using it.

Good budget hotel if you're a keen traveller and don't mind a bit of mismatch ajd just a good place to rest your head. No frills as such and slightly dusty etc. Pretty good food msotly and a great place for large groups to stay.

Friendly staff. Spacious hotel. Varied breakfast options. Activities to do on the evening like table football and table tennis. River Rhine is a couple of minutes walk away as well. If you're looking for a hotel that isn't too expensive, this is the place to go if you're in Boppard Germany.

I've been here some times before and it always surprises me to see what changes have been done over the year. This time they amazed with a fashionely renovated restaurant! Staff is always lovely and helpful and rooms are very comfy. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

+ Lovely old family house where I was lucky to be accommodated for one night. Tired after a long day I enjoyed the stunning view drinking some regional vine. It's worse to come here, everyone is more than welcome thanks to super nice staff and friendly atmosphere they create.

This place has a great selection of food, the condition was decently clean and views were fantastic. As we came on a band tour in 2018 in summer it was a great experience and it had a good location near the Rhine River, it's different to the average British hotels but has a minor difference, the size of the rooms weren't the best for 3 people to sleep in. Great in pairs of 2 or being a solo though

We spent such a nice vacation in the City Hotel Hunsruecker Hof. Breakfast was really good ( meat, cheese, fruits, vegetables, toasts, tea, coffee, just all that you need for breakfast). Even when the hotel was full of guests, there was enought food for everyone. Wanna say thank you to the team of this hotel. You were always so kind, friendly and always ready to help. It's cheap and cheerful and comfortable. The staff are more than happy to help. It's too close to the railway line though, which makes sleeping difficult at times...

I stayed there a while ago so i decided to revisit the hotel again i was dissapionted this time,at reception the person did not understand much english when i went into the resturant for my evening meal they were going to turn me away they said i had not booked i said i was not told about booking but they found me a table.The room was good and the bed comfortable. Nice location, directly beside the Rhine River and no so far from the town Centre.

A fantastic location overlooking the Rhine. We booked as a family and got an enormous suite of rooms. Breakfast was a substantial continental Buffet and the service was friendly and helpful. Centrally located to Boppard town and restaurants.

Great place with a great outlook, friendly staff, lots of breakfast variety. An every year visit for us, looking forward to next April when we will return. Recently added home made pizzas that went down very well with our party.

My family of 7 just finished a European vacation in which we stayed in 5 hotels. The Rheinhotel Lilie was by far our favorite. The staff is exceptional, the views are spectacular, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is top notch. I'll be back! Highly recommend.

A well positioned hotel to explore Boppard, the front of the hotel looks over the Rhine. Our room was in the upper level with a town view which was not bad, the room itself looked as if it had recently had a refurb and was clean and tidy. Beds were certainly good enough (for us) and a safe and house bar were also available. The bathroom was also quite spacious, but of course the shower cabin was, as in many hotels, tiny. The service was great - the waiters in particular were very nice. The food was good but quite salty. The rooms were comfortable however it would be bettter if there were AC or fans.

Rooms are cosy more than spacious but very clean . Food is pretty good . Most of it is self service but there's plenty of it . I would recommend the hotel. It is situated in a very narrow street close to the market square so parking could be a problem other than that all good

We stayed at the Hubertus as part of a school trip and enjoyed our stay. Simone and all the staff at the Hubertus made such an effort to make us feel welcome. Great location, right in the heart of beautiful Boppard

Hotel was well placed and very good views from the balcony rooms . Wifi was very poor cutting out all the time and not working at all on our last day .

Very nice property and staff at reception and housekeeping is very friendly. Staff provided a wheelchair (post surgery) and the property was easy enough to navigate. The only downside, I am sorry to say, is the breakfast. On a Saturday morning it was chaotic with everything from bread to cold cuts and plain cheeses being gone. You had to ask for coffee mugs. As ever, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay, right beside the Rhein, and it feels like walking into another world. It’s a great place to get away to, with one or two really good restaurants (including its own) close by. Breakfast is very much recommended here as well.

Lovely hotel on the Rhine though my room did not have a view. The rooms are very large. The hotel bar is cozy and well managed. Hotel staff is great. Good location for exploring the middle Rhine. Maybe 5 minute walk to train station. Boppard hotels will give you a guest ticket for local trains/buses.
