It is a very beautiful place, the staff are very nice, good food, and beautiful rooms. Everything was perfect. Is not far from the city or the castles. If you take into consideration all the facilities is not that expesive. I definitely recommend this place and i will come back.

Really good hotel. Looks lovely and traditional from the outside but all modern amenities and rooms inside.

Spent a fabulous week here in the summer. A beautiful, traditional, and family run Bavarian establishment that exceeded our expectations.
Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a large balcony to relax on in the evening and watch the lightening storms role by.
Breakfast was buffet style and well catered for with different items each day to add variety. We also stayed for several evening meals, all of which were excellent.
Helmerhof was perfect for our stay, the free bike hire an added bonus. Neushwanstein Castle being just 10 mins ride away. Plenty paths for walking, biking and lakes/rivers for swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. I have never returned to the same place more than once, but Helmerhof would be the exception!

Fantastic location with amazing view to the mountains and Neuschwanstein castle. Great breakfast with a huge selection of everything. Tasty meals for dinner, great beer and snaps. Super comfortable bed in the room. I am sad we couldn't stay longer :/

We had the most amazing experience in the hotel and the use of the sauna.
All the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the food was amasing and fantastic.
Thank you verymuch I will defenotely come back.

This was our first time traveling to Germany and this was the first hotel of our trip. We loved the quaint look of the hotel, and since it was snowing, it was even more beautiful!
The room was nice, I believe we ended up with a smoking room, but the smell was not bad. It did get warm, but we were able to get fresh air by opening the door to the balcony.
We dined in the restaurant and since had early time, it was very private with a view of the patio and snow.
The server was very friendly and communicated well with us as we spoke English. The food was delicious.
We had a mix up with breakfast as we accidentally slept past our reservation time(jet lag!) We were put at a table but when we can back from getting our food, there was someone else's items at the table. Then it looked as if we had taken their table, but no big deal.
We enjoyed the area and would love to come back to visit and would stay here again.

Helmerhof is always an enjoyable place to eat dinner or just have cake and coffee. The food is excellent and the service very friendly. You have a beautiful view of the mountains from the winter garden.

Staff was very friendly, spa area was very relaxing. A great breakfast was included. We arrived around 3pm on a Sunday and kitchen was closed until 530. so finding something to eat was difficult. They did have coffee, cake and pastries even when kitchen was closed though.

Have a very very Tasty corn chicken on stir-fried vegetables eaten. The selection in the menu is huge and the service is super warm. Really worth a recommendation!

Hello,we have been at Easter 4days back?,it is true, as always, everything is very relaxing???.the new rooms are amazing,super beautiful?.over ten years in the hospitable house and feel on top of us ??.Fam.Helmer and her Team are very nice and helpful ,motivated, and place a lot of value to a feel-good character. You can feel the attention to Detail, as well as the Moto-vation to the occupation of this house . Have recommended the Hotel to our family and friends and will of course come in summer and in Winter . ???
