Really good hotel. Looks lovely and traditional from the outside but all modern amenities and rooms inside.

It is a very beautiful place, the staff are very nice, good food, and beautiful rooms. Everything was perfect. Is not far from the city or the castles. If you take into consideration all the facilities is not that expesive. I definitely recommend this place and i will come back.

We arrived late in the afternoon and the staff recognize me as soon as I talk to her. They have private parking place and offer free parking. The room is clean and comfort to stay. Very nice breakfast and the staff is super nice and warm. We also tried their sauna and have good rest after a long day in Neuschwanstein. Very nice small neat Hotel. From the cleaning lady to the Boss, all very friendly and accommodating. We had a top floor Suite with plenty of space and a fantastic view on the castle of Neuschwanstein and the tegelberg mountain. The rooms and the entire Hotel complex was very clean and well maintained.

Very enjoyable stay at the Zur Post. Rooms were simple but clean, sights from the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was generous and filling and everyone that worked there was very nice. Only two slight issues which is that there is no lift and so many stairs and that hair dryer is nightmare to use with no power at all. Stayed here twice, and will again. Great location, lovely rooms, good food. Both times with nice balcony views of the castles across the way. Well situated at the south end of the Romantische Strasse just when the Alps are looming. Pretty impressive with the castles and the mountains in view.

My Go To hotel when in the area. Great host and excellent location. Short walk away from all Schwangau attractions; castle, sky, hike. Highly recommended.

Zur Post offers a nice accommodation. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great bathroom. Also the staff was helpful and friendly. The reason for one star less is the breakfast. It couldn't keep up with the overall good standard.

Come for 11 years each year, minimum. 1x, that alone speaks already for itself. Always feel welcome and very comfortable. The great, rich Breakfast ( especially the fresh grain cereals) and the very good food enjoy. A family run Hotel, the you can only recommend. Will always come back.

Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. My only complaint is, since there is no air conditioning (normal for Europe) I slept with the windows open and I could here patrons at the small Italian restaurant across the street on their patio as late as 02:00 (2:00am)

There are only 2-3 short-term parking spaces at the main entrance on Kreuzweg. The large, free main car park is somewhat inconspicuously signposted: access shortly beforehand via Alten Schwinkelweg, then turn left at the intersection of Kröb/Kreuzweg/Tassiloweg. Beautiful hotel with excellent service. The view is amazing. I fully recommend this hotel. There are castles few minutes away that are must to visit and learn more about the history and the culture. The view on the Alps is surreal.

Beautiful location for relaxation or fitness. The choice is yours. The staff make you feel valued and special. The resort is outstanding for accommodation restaurant, sauna, swimming and exercise programs. I have visited 4 times and have enjoyed it so much every time.

I felt very comfortable and well looked after: good therapists, nice room, delicious, varied food, nice staff, great landscape! Although the daily routine was fairly well-paced with treatments and meals, the rehab felt like three weeks of vacation.
