My best friend and I spent two nights here in September 2024 as part of our trip. Staff was very courteous and the check-in process was very smooth. The service was excellent overall, except during breakfast. The staff member at the egg station was unfortunately not friendly. I simply went over and politely asked for an omelette. In response, She loudly and rudely said, ‘Can’t you see the pan is still occupied?’ Other guests turned to look. I don’t understand why it wasn’t possible to respond in a polite manner.

There are only 2-3 short-term parking spaces at the main entrance on Kreuzweg. The large, free main car park is somewhat inconspicuously signposted: access shortly beforehand via Alten Schwinkelweg, then turn left at the intersection of Kröb/Kreuzweg/Tassiloweg. It's easy to drive past the sign and then have to turn around. Directly at the large main parking lot, e.g. on the terrace of the cafeteria...

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. The view is amazing. I fully recommend this hotel. There are castles few minutes away that are must to visit and learn more about the history and the culture. The view on the Alps is surreal.

Beautiful location for relaxation or fitness. The choice is yours. The staff make you feel valued and special. The resort is outstanding for accommodation restaurant, sauna, swimming and exercise programs. I have visited 4 times and have enjoyed it so much every time.

Overall nice hotel. Decently pretty and wonderful, everything from amenities to service is also tip-top. I like the surrounding parts a lot, you feel kind of enclosed in a good way yet still free. I will probably be back many times in the coming years.

I felt very comfortable and well looked after: good therapists, nice room, delicious, varied food, nice staff, great landscape! Although the daily routine was fairly well-paced with treatments and meals, the rehab felt like three weeks of vacation.

I visited for four days at the beginning of November with my wife and two adults daughters. We found the hotel very comfortable, the staff very nice, and the food excellent. I highly recommend the hotel as a base for days visiting Neuschwanstein Linderhof, and Fussel. Unfortunately, our guide at Neuschwanstein was very robotic, but that was not the hotel's fault.

It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Driving to parking lot 4 of the castles takes about 10 minutes. Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations...

Was a quick overnight stay before visiting the castles. Room was ground floor next to the road but it wasn't that noisy. Did find a silverfish in the bathroom.

You can be lucky or unlucky with Best Western - today we were lucky! Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station. Good size room with modern shower room, all in excellent condition. Staff at both the bar and reception really helpful and excellent English. Didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food.

The front desk staff is very nice. The hotel is large and bright. I recommend staying here. If you drive a car to the hotel to park, you need to park at the door and then go to the front desk to get a room card, which can also enter the parking lot in the basement. In addition, the hotel will give each person a free bus ticket, which can be taken to the bus station of Neuschwanstein Castle.

Rooms are ok. We were given an unnecessary barrier-free room, which was a good size with a massive bathroom. If it was just room quality the hotel would not score great, but what really sells it is the location (superb) and the food. Breakfast pretty standard but dinner (we ate in the hotel two of the three nights we stayed) was delicious.

The hotel is in a great location, convenient to the pedestrian street, with picturesque scenery nearby. There are many restaurants to choose from, including Italian restaurants, Japanese restaurants and BBQ restaurants, which are very close to the hotel. The front desk guy is very nice:)

The room curtains only have one layer of screen, and the staff told me that this is the design of a new hotel. I can only say that Germans are more open-minded. There is no kettle in the room, and the bed is very soft. The breakfast is very rich!

We really enjoyed. We were there with two kids and it was a great experience for everyone. You can easily walk to the lake and the natural swimming pool at the guest house is just amazing. Restaurants can also be easily reached on foot.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. From rooms 5a and 6a, in the second house, a beautiful panorama opens up, probably the best in this hotel. Stock up on a bottle of wine for dinner and coffee in the morning. Plan your romantic stay in this beautiful place. It is very convenient to get to the Bavarian castles by car in about 20 minutes. Beautiful large clean rooms with lake view. They have two restaurants Italian and German. Lovely breakfast spread. You need to reserve your parking slot with them prior to check in. The spa and sauna areas are free of charge and are the highlight of the hotel. Loved everything about this place! Wish we had stayed longer!

We did a lot of research and decided on this hotel due to the price, location, and benefits. The pictures also looked very nice. Unfortunately we had to cancel last-minute due to car troubles. Servers on the phone were extremely kind and the manager was also very responsive and accommodating. Hope to stay here for real in the future soon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. Location is gorgeous and parking easy and cheap on street. Need to walk 2 sets of slippery stairs (could be a problem for some). We had the luxery suite. It was big and functional for our family. There are separate rooms but the main bed is not private so dont expect couple time. It was nice but outdated & could defintely be upgraded /made even nicer...

Very good appartment rooms, stunning views and all. But found the cleaner lady a bit rude, she was saying something in German to me and my friends which sounded pretty aggressive. We just ignored her and checked out of the property. Other than this, I would recommend just for the view and the restaurant that is available just downstairs.

We had a very nice and modern room with a balcony (but unfortunately quite noisy neighbors), and the wellness area was very relaxing. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the shift work, and we found the dinners there to be rather uncomfortable feedings.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, an indoor and outdoor pool, foot baths, sauna and a range of spa treatments. The dinner was amazing, 5 courses! Breakfast was a big buffet with loads of choice. We had a room on the third floor with amazing views across the lake and mountains.
