Where to stay in St. Peter-Ording

The staff is very friendly albeit sometimes a bit confused and not everyone speaks English. The facilities is however very nice with big rooms, cozy spa and a very nice lobby. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and was very happy during the stay. The spot gets one star less just because I half of the hotel has a view of the parking spot. Not the worse but it’s good to know when you are booking.

This place is super comfy and the staff made us feel at home, warmly welcome, and spoiled. The food is delicious and we loved the spa! We can only recommend this place!

the check-in took ages. only one guy is working the reception was very slow and he even pulled another guest first despite we were waiting longer. they have no real decency you would expect from a 5-star hotel. if more people are needed to check-in, even the local supermarket can easily open another checkout. expect no help with your luggage whatsoever. they claim to be a 5-star hotel which is weird...

Breakfast has to be improved. Mostly unhealthy food , almost no good plant based options for breakfast. When you go to spa hotel you want to have healthy food. Very nice hotel and location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Very friendly staff and generous breakfast buffet. I take away one star because of noise. Our room faced the beach and the restaurant next door. We could hear noise from their kitchen which kept us up later than we wanted to be. Next time we will ask for a room on the other side. Amazingly friendly and trustfull staf. We arrived aprox10min after reception working hours- there was an envelope with my name on it, with all informotion in it and a key to our room. Excellent breakfast, lovely location, very friendly service

The room was clean, but to much furniture, shower was small , had no place to put your soap or shampoo because. saop dish was broken, shower hose was ripped they have been that way for a long time. This was not a comfort room.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und mit Wurst, Käse und Marmelade war für jeden etwas dabei. Alles andere kann man sich dazu bestellen für einen kleinen Aufpreis. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, alles ist in wenigen Minuten fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat einen Vorraum mit eigener Terrasse und ein großes Bad. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

As the title says, we are more than happy to stay at Strandgut Resort. Every time we are there, we feel like part of the Strandgut family. From our experience, I can say that every wish you have is fulfilled very quickly. Miracles are not possible, but it is close.

Tolles Hotel für eine kleine Auszeit an der Nordsee! Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend steht jederzeitzur Verfügung. Auch das Personal und das Essen im Deichkind sind absolut erstklassig. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt.

A wonderful hideaway! We spent a full week with our 20 months old boy and had a great time at the zweite Heimat. The weather was truly nordfriesisch with daily weather changes. Kids-friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The Esszimmer Restaurant serves high quality food with a local twist.

The hotel is beautifully decorated until the last detail. Good location, you can get to the beach just by walking and there is a small supermarket just next door. Very nice and friendly staff and the breakfast was just awesome. We also had dinner in the terrasse which I would recommend as well.

My wife, our kid and I were invited by grandpa to a day in St. Peter Ording, and stayed at this hotel. The tattoed lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful throughout. Even helped me with my migraine. Thank you very much 🙂

We loved this place! Easy checking in and out. The staff is very friendly and costumer oriented. The rooms and the property were very clean. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast. Only a few walking min from the beach. Conveniently next door you rent a bike for the day. Walking distance to restaurants for gourmet meals!

Wir haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, weil die Lage perfekt ist und ein paar Tage im Haupthaus in einem Zimmer mit Meerblick gewohnt. Jedoch waren wir aufgrund der Preisgestaltung bzgl. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt im Ambassador Hotel & Spa in St. Peter-Ording. Die Lage ist wunderbar, und das Personal war größtenteils freundlich, sodass wir uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt haben. Allerdings ist der ältere Teil des Hotels ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, und die Sauberkeit im Zimmer sowie im Restaurant ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig (Blumen könnten zum Beispiel auch mal abgestaubt...

war sehr zufrieden und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es wäre schön, wenn es für abends im Hotel eine Bar gäbe. Wir danken dem Restaurant-Chef, dass er uns trotzdem mit Getränken versorgt hat.

Das Hotel hat die optimale Lage zum Wasser,Promenade und Zentrum. Leider ist es überhaupt nicht für Gehbehinderte geeignet,da die Fahrstühle im Haupthaus zu klein sind und der Strandflügel nicht gut erreichbar ist (nur über Fahrstuhl und Treppenstufen). Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I was 2 nights on the Ocean Deluxe Suite with the packager Wild Roses. Everything was really nice, breakfast(the guy on the entrance of breakfats is also the nicest) is amazing, Dii:ke restaurant really good also (the pumpkim soup was DELICIOUS) and the spa also really nice. Only complain was the bed, the room was expensive and the bed was not good, but on the front desk they told us they are renewing...

Outstanding location directly at the Deich, 5 minutes walking from the beach. You come here and you immediately feel vacations😉

Nice and cozy place to enjoy a meal. The only draw backs are the constant smokers outside ruining the ambience with their stench and not having a broader cocktail menu during the meal. The cocktails are served in the bar only.

Very friendly welcome. I was personally led into the breakfast room and the room and instructed in the procedures. Spacious room with WiFi, TV and radio and spacious bathroom with two sinks, tub and shower. The breakfast was very rich and was supplemented with egg dishes on request. We immediately felt warmly welcomed and very comfortable in the house. The hotel is definitely recommended.

We were welcomed in a very nice and humorous way. The room was huge and we didn't want anything. Our dogs were also welcome! Unfortunately we had to find out that the hotel is changing hands, but if it continues to run just as well, we'd be happy to come back.

Very nice hotel, about 5-8 minutes walk from the town center. Very friendly and guest-oriented staff, always helpful and courteous. Small but excellent breakfast buffet. As a summary from me, who actually didn't want to go to the North Sea, I'll definitely be back and that's not least due to this hotel, I felt very, very comfortable!!!!

You feel welcome from the moment you enter. Everybody greats you and do their best to help you. Situated close to the busy beach center but fare enough away to be quiet. The pool is so nice. And the breakfast is awesome. A hotel we remember and wants to go back to.

With a 10 minute walk to the big spa, very nice staff and a lovely room (junior suite) this was the perfect way for us to stay for a romantic weekend. There is no elevator.

We visited the cafe outside the hotel and we were seated at the terrace. We ordered cake and coffee, which tasted excellent. The portion of each cake (each 4.60 EUR) were enormus and we could just manage. The service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel looked a bit dated outside and inside.

We stayed at Landhaus Godewind in St Peter Ording from September 30th to October 9th, 2022 and were thrilled. The room was large, comfortably furnished and very clean. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Plus the friendly staff. If we stay healthy, we'll be happy to come back. Thanks for the nice time.

Great. Were there in September last year. Rooms very clean. breakfast delicious. There is a lockable bike shed. It's great, could only be a little bigger since this one can also be occupied quickly. But we've always been lucky to get space .😀 We'll be back for sure. We recommend. 👍

Today unfortunately, unfortunately departure. Been here for the second time in four years and still enthusiastic. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Everything here is very lovingly furnished and harmonious. One can only feel good. We'd love to come back.

A great place to relax. The rooms are very clean and quiet. We slept wonderfully and always looked forward to breakfast, as this left nothing to be desired. Booked at short notice as a stopover because we had to bridge a night. Everything fine, nice staff, clean, tasteful, although not expensively furnished rooms, which can't be expected at all for the price. Good things don't always have to be expensive! Very good, lovingly prepared breakfast. Definitely a place to come back to.

Staff super nice and friendly. room quite nice. It's nice that it's an adult-only hotel and only has about 13 rooms. You can rent a sauna room by room, but it costs EUR 30 for 2 people for 2 hours, not exactly cheap. We didn't like the breakfast that much. The coffee was almost cold, so we ordered a new one, which was fine. The egg was cold and hard. We didn't find the selection of sausages that good...

We were able to spend a wonderful mother-son holiday in your great house. It was perfect all round. Great location. Cute rooms, everything very clean and comfortable. I wasn't there myself (yet!!), but I used the resorption/service to organize a gift for a local guest. Very friendly and helpful!!! My wish was fulfilled, the payment could be made afterwards without any problems. Very good service, great goods organized and there was a piccolo for the guest from the house on top! THANKS!!

Were eating at the Asian. My husband had duck eight delights which was very good. I had baked rice with chicken, tasted delicious but didn't suit me at all. Then had stomach problems for four hours, which is due to my bypass and not the rice.

ATTENTION: Breakfast can only be consumed at defined time slots that have to be registered the evening before. Unfortunately, we had caught 7: 30-8: 30 ... Nice quaint hotel. I have to say that the person / people who run the hotel can be a bit overwhelmed. I wasn't happy with the breakfast arrangement between 7.30am and 8.30am, but they allowed us to have breakfast in our own room the next day. Here you can spend your vacation in a pleasant way. The location of the hotel is very quiet but still central. The room was bright and very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast delicious. Only the decor of the hotel takes a bit of getting used to, but ultimately pleasant. I felt comfortable.
