Sunny Hotel in Straubing

Couldn't sleep at night because of the heat and the air condition didn't even work plus I saw towels on the ground which left me disgusted

Check-in is a complete disaster, the bill isn't sent automatically, and the phone staff is incompetent.

There is no internet for an entire week, was left with a garbage bag in the middle of my room and more times than I could count the room is left dirty in the morning. The rooms have no AC and during the summer days its unbearable to live.

Customer service was extremely rude when i called them to inform them that the wi-fi(which is supposed to be free) isn’t working.

Reception is non existent and aside from the cleaning staff nobody is ever here.

I recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

Extremely rude person over the phone.
There supposed to be two EV chargers, one is broken physically, the other one needs resetting, which the rude person could have helped resetting but instead he was shouting at me and hang up the phone while I was talking.
Room stinks.
Mini fridge doesn’t work.
‘Complimentary pastries’ get raided as soon as they are put out so if you don’t wake up at 6AM you can forget this, too.

I have been here twice before, there were some issues both times but nothing significant.

Now I am stranded here because I can’t charge my car and the ‘receptionist’ has zero toots to give. I have never had a customer service rep shout at me and hang up the phone on me before. This person should definitely not work anywhere where interaction with humans is involved.

I would very highly recommend paying that extra €20 and go somewhere else decent.
I will definitely avoid this place in the future.
