We had booked the apartment/holiday apartment with two bedrooms. We didn't realize that this wasn't directly in the hotel, but 1km further away in Haus Tannengrün. When we arrived, the bed in the second bedroom was unmade. But it was done quickly after calling. If you are looking for a quiet hotel without service, bar and restaurant, this is the right place for you. The hotel is idyllically located in the middle of the forest. No cell phone reception. Free WiFi with 1 bar. Dinner only if you book it, then only warmed up, no changes possible. The same cake was in the fridge all week. "Bar" closes at 8 p.m. "Biergarten" only with self-catering from fridge...

A wonderful hotel.. Not only do the rooms and the atmosphere score points, the surroundings are fantastically beautiful.. I can definitely recommend.... There is a sauna area and a large winter garden invites you to eat. For larger celebrations, a lovingly designed room is available separately... I was a completely satisfied guest...

Rooms are small but nice if you don't have high expectations. In other words, a small closet for things, no safe in the room. Service is friendly and makes an effort. Food is so holla, you shouldn't have too high expectations, you'll get full, everything isn't what it looks like. There's nothing going on at this time of year, not even in the hotel itself 🏨 and the outside area just looks like it does...

Room not cleaned upon arrival. Overall, some things seemed unprofessional. It's a shame because the hotel has potential. Blaming everything these days on a lack of staff and sustainability is getting annoying. After all, I'm paying for it too. Breakfast and dinner okay. Nicely decorated rooms, good beds. This is a typical tourist hotel with the facilities you would expect for families with children. We took advantage of the sauna area and enjoyed the four types of sauna. Breakfast was served in the restaurant. However, there weren't enough places to sit in the restaurant area, so a few tables had been placed in the hallway outside. Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. There isn't a whole lot to do nearby but the surrounding area is beautiful and it was nice to hike the local trails and see the calcium spring. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

This hotel was really cool! It was built in 1896, and has been well maintained. The breakfast spread was the best I have ever seen, and the employee serving breakfast was top notch. During the evening, a siren went off that sounded like an air raid alarm, but it turned out to be an alarm at the local fire department. I really liked the beer garden and the ambience. I wasn't that happy with the way the desserts were presented. (Fruit sundae with canned fruit and chocolate ice cream ??? Apple strudel from the freezer?) But it's not an ice cream parlor or pastry shop either. I can't say anything about the hearty dishes. From a distance, however, they looked quite rich.

We were here for a few days and were super satisfied. The rooms are a generous size and were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of fresh cold cuts and everything else your heart desires. There is plenty of parking space and it is centrally located in the village. A very nice brauhaus in Quedlinburg, with nice beers but a too fancy menu with sweet potato fries when normal fries and a bread roll instead of the Brioche would have been better.

Service forgetful, didn’t ask for vaccinations, food was very variable (Schnitzel with sesame excellent, game Sülze was bland) interior rather dated. But the Freiberger dark beer made up for everything.

Comfortable hotel, 15 minutes walk from the stunning old town sights. Well priced with a reasonable breakfast and despite being on a main road, it's quiet enough.

The location next to the train station makes it easy to drop your bags and go to town which is only a 10 min walk. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is good. Reception speaks little English so hopefully you can understand a little (although not necessary).

Great cozy hotel! Stayed the night before traveling Quedlinburg. On 20:00 brother Michael from the church next door is giving a tour so you can show up before. Breakfast (included) was great! Shower and toilets are new and comfortable. Overall the building is beautiful and the stay was great.

We had a spacious apartment for our family and ate dinner in the relaxing Biergarten of the restaurant. Great, central location in the city with easy access to cafés and little shops. Parking behind the hotel was great for unloading and loading our luggage.

Without even being a guest at the hotel I was greeted professionally and was being helped nicely and provided with a free of charge dental kit I was asking for!

We were there with a group of 8 people and felt very comfortable. It doesn't matter that it's 2 km to the old town. The staff were more friendly and helpful than ever before. The pool with a flood shower and massage jet is included in the price. The 3-course menu changed daily. Only the breakfast buffet was a bit unimaginative. We can recommend the hotel.
