Stay here for work quite often. Have always had a pleasant stay. The Hotel isn't always busy so breakfast might sometimes be limited.

The large room, the sauna, the nice personal, the cleanliness.

Overall nice hotel - always friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. The usual standard. As vegetarians, we would have liked a little more choice here. Overall, however, we were very satisfied with our stay

We had actually only booked for one night (2 people with 2 dogs), before leaving we had considered staying for one night, unfortunately fully booked…. Pity …. Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. There isn't a whole lot to do nearby but the surrounding area is beautiful and it was nice to hike the local trails and see the calcium spring. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

This hotel was really cool! It was built in 1896, and has been well maintained. The breakfast spread was the best I have ever seen, and the employee serving breakfast was top notch. During the evening, a siren went off that sounded like an air raid alarm, but it turned out to be an alarm at the local fire department. This is a typical tourist hotel with the facilities you would expect for families with children. We took advantage of the sauna area and enjoyed the four types of sauna. Breakfast was served in the restaurant. However, there weren't enough places to sit in the restaurant area, so a few tables had been placed in the hallway outside. This would have been okay, if only there had also been put some brighter...

Was there with dog for 5 nights in November. The accommodation was very good and the staff very nice. Since I came by train and was delayed, moving into the apartment later was not a problem either. The hotel is idyllically situated in the middle of the forest, and the conservatory, where breakfast is served, offers a lovely view. The sauna is also very nice. We had booked the apartment/holiday apartment with two bedrooms. We didn't realize that this wasn't directly in the hotel, but 1km further away in Haus Tannengrün. When we arrived, the bed in the second bedroom was unmade. But it was done quickly after calling. The second bedroom is not directly in the apartment, but on the ground floor and you have to go through the hallway. May be difficult for families...

If you are looking for a quiet hotel without service, bar and restaurant, this is the right place for you. The hotel is idyllically located in the middle of the forest. No cell phone reception. A wonderful hotel.. Not only do the rooms and the atmosphere score points, the surroundings are fantastically beautiful.. I can definitely recommend.... We decided to visit Auerhahn with my family for a relaxing weekend. The hotel was the perfect fit, as we had a room with a cute balcony which allowed us to enjoy the sunset all together. The room was clean and the staff was great.

We were here for a few days and were super satisfied. The rooms are a generous size and were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of fresh cold cuts and everything else your heart desires. There is plenty of parking space and it is centrally located in the village. I had a very nice, spacious room with an elegant shower/toilet and a practical mini kitchen including a fridge, sink, kettle, crockery/pots/glasses/cutlery. Special arrival and departure requests were fulfilled.

The room is comfortably furnished and spacious. The ambience of the hotel, for example in the breakfast room, is rustic and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and happy to cater to special requests. The place itself is very quiet and you can easily reach all attractions even with public transport. This was our second time here and we will always be happy to come back!

A very nice, clean and quiet apartment. You get a friendly welcome and the maid does a good job. I was there on business and didn't use the breakfast because I always had to leave quite early. But I've only heard good things about it. I would love to come back if I have business in the area.

A beautiful hotel in a unique setting! We had wonderful junior suite that was refurbished in modern style. Bathroom was roomy but the shower’s water pressure was really bad. Breakfast was really nice with perfect fried eggs! Only if you allergic to dust be wary of the carpets!

Very spacious rooms and a grand view. The hotel areas are clean and quiet. German and English service and easy parking. Dinner requires a reservation. The restaurant at Hotel am Brühl is right down the street and I highly recommend it.

I felt very comfortable in this hotel. The operators are very hospitable and respond to requests. My room was very clean and modern and had a phenomenal view. Breakfast was served at the table - requests are also met here. The hotel is on top of a mountain so a car is an advantage. I always got a parking space right next to the house. Based on my positive experiences, I am here again now.

A very nice brauhaus in Quedlinburg, with nice beers but a too fancy menu with sweet potato fries when normal fries and a bread roll instead of the Brioche would have been better.

It's a beautiful hotel right next to the Blankenburg Castle. It's in 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. The room was very clean with a really nice view. My only complaint would be the wifi speed.

The hotel was lovingly renovated. A beautiful place with an amazing view over the old town. Just a couple of minutes walk to the old town square. No elevator! All rooms are on the 3rd floor.

We really liked the history and the tour of the castle.The room was nice.There was a small fire in the maintenance room and the alarm went off.The staff extinguished the fire but did not call the fire department. That night the heating system and the hot water did not work. There is no staff in the building at night which did not make us feel comfortable. Things can happen but overall it was wonderful...

We were pleasantly surprised at just how grand this castle is and on large grounds overlooking the old town of Altstadt just a couple minutes walk. Our double room was large and well appointed and bathrooms were fresh. Romantic. An incredible terrace on the roof with views that no other property has in town. They were very kind to us. It is advised to make a reservation as the place was busy. I alread made one in the afternoon when we passed by. Service is decent. Prices are good. But the schnitzels were ordered were huge. Probably 2 persons can eat with one order. they had nice veggies and potatoes. Good beers as well.

Great hotel on Quedlinburg's Marktplatz -- parking on site behind the hotel, and the room was clean and quiet. I was leaving before breakfast was served, so they thoughtfully made me a wonderful to-go bag.

The hotel is located right at the one end of the market square. The room was cozy and comfortable. The room window opened up with a view of the market square but surprisingly it was not noisy even on Sunday in mid July. The breakfast was very good. I had a chance to try several kinds of cheeses and cold cuts that were local to the Harz region.

Nice gaststätte in the center of beautiful Quedlinburg. Sat by the window with a good view of the market place. Had some great tasting soups (gulasch and soljanka). Fair price. Not many vegetarian options but the baked camembert with salad was fine.

Service forgetful, didn’t ask for vaccinations, food was very variable (Schnitzel with sesame excellent, game Sülze was bland) interior rather dated. But the Freiberger dark beer made up for everything.
