This family-run hotel is in Trassenheide, on the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. It offers free Wi-Fi and free use of the pool and sauna area. All rooms at the 4-star Familien Wellness Hotel Seeklause mit großem Abenteuerspielplatz "Piraten-Insel-Usedom" include a safe, fridge and TV. The apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and can accommodate up to 5 people. The spa area is 2000m² in size, and includes a spa bath and gym. There are also massages, beauty treatments and courses in water aerobics, Nordic walking and aerobics. Guests can relax in the family room, borrow a book from the library or rent a bicycle. The Seeklause also has volleyball, table tennis and badminton facilities. There is a children's play area in the restaurant. The ocean-themed restaurant serves local dishes. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace during the summer or by the fire in winter. A shuttle bus can bring you directly to the beach, 1.5 km away. For the duration of their stay at the hotel, guests enjoy free use of the UBB (Usedomer Bäderbahn) railway free of charge and all public bus lines on the island of Usedom including the town of Wolgast.

pros:
-great for kids during nice weather, tons of outdoor playground all very high quality
- food suitable for kids
- one indoor playground which is ok but you need to walk at the outside to reach there so you can't conveniently go from your room to playground during cold weather.
cons:
- room comfort is really bad. No mosquito net on windows and all the walls are covered with killed mosquitos. I spotted at least 10 different mosquitoes in our room, and we couldn't open the window because of it. I can't even imagine summer because there is no A/C in the room so you need to open windows
- very bad pillows. They disappear as soon as you put your head on them
Amazing opportunities for children inside and outside. Ours were busy from breakfast until bedtime. Sabrina and the staff were amazing with the children.
A nice wellness area with multiple saunas and rooms to relax.
A modern (if not compact) exercise room where the cardio equipment connects to your smart watch.
From the reception to the cooks and waiters, up to the entertainers, all the workers are professional and friendly.
Bedrooms, restaurant, terrace, spaces for children and teenagers, every place is cared for and well prepared.
The playground garden is simply fantastic!
Super recommended, worth the money it asks for.
It has everything for a 4 Stars Hotel.
