Hotels in Traunstein

The hotel has large rooms with nice quality. The hotel reception has reduced hours due to COVID. We had no problems checking in or acquiring the service we needed. There was no air conditioning which was unfortunate given the heat wave in Germany at the time.

Everythin was ok but during breakfast they should ask the customer whether they would like scrambled eggs or fresh insouble coffee

Ordered the 1888 salad with chicken but when the salad came it was missing the salad. The play area is very kid friendly. Prices are a bit high but not too much to make it out of range for a typical family.

Friends of ours stayed here after a party and we joined at short notice for breakfast the next day. We received an extremely friendly welcome, the breakfast was good and inexpensive (even as external guests we only paid 7.50 including coffee). Simple and old look rooms - need to be refreshed because they were not so clean anymore :( But people here is kind and available. Stay one night and we had 3 rooms each one being nearly the same (1 double and 2 simple rooms) Room keys are usable for the entry door because there's no reception after 7pm.

Stopped here on the way to the national park. Excellent food, service and portions for the lunch crowd. Nice outside eating area with valley views and chirping birds. Parked on a side street but stalls are also available across the street.

We ran into this wonderful hotel in this beautiful rural German town in early June. It is located south of Traunstein and west of Salzburg. The view of the mountains is stunning. amazing Staff, great hospitality. Lovely feeling. YET THE SMELL OF SEWAGE IS Unavailable strong and the smell of Detergent to kill thr smell is even worse 😢 please fix the smell of Sewage in the rooms and in the restaurant toilets too.

Comfortable rooms with nice view. The staff is very kind and the corona restrictions are handled really nicely. Food is great, check-ins and such takes just a few minutes. I recommend a visit.

We spent a week on the farm and were welcomed very nicely. Apartment very clean and well furnished everything you need. Come back next year

Stayed in the first week of July with 6 people. The apartment was large, comfortable and clean. I as a heavyweight slept well in bed. Everything was available for cooking. The host family was very friendly and helpful. WE WILL BE BACK:

The breakfast was great, the owner was very nice and the swimming lake was great. It was also very nice that there were several possibilities to sit in the evening with a coffee or tea. We also had the possibility to charge our electric car.
