Fantastic Location right in the middle of beautiful Veitshöchheim! Free parking, excellent breakfast und super friendly staff. When I asked for a late check out as I had to join a video conference at short notice. That was not a problem. Extra ordinary, customer service!

I had a wonderful stay at the Wiesses Lamm. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect.

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was extremely clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We intend to return in the near future and will stay for longer to explore the area.

We were only able to stay one night but wish we had more. Hotel is wonderful and the Resturant was excellent as well! Can't say enough really, we loved it and hope to return soon for a longer stay.

I stayed here one night while traveling to Austria. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and nice beds. Breakfast was very extensive. The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.

I was there for Breakfast. Reception was very nice and accommodating. The food was very good, gave something of everything from salmon to fruit and wurstbsehr much of a choice

Was on 24.01.2015 there for tea. No special offer at just under five euros for a pot of tea, but you get a pleasant ambience and a good Cup of tea in a fine pot and Cup. Can I recommend it!

Clean, uncomplicated, inexpensive, overnight stays with dogs possible and one street away is the Main with paths along the riverbank. Würzburg can be reached quickly by car. Parking spaces directly in front of the house. A small downside: the breakfast is already pre-portioned, so a selection is not possible.

Clean suite and just next to Rococo Garden for a Morning Walk!

I stayed here for a week while working in the area. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The owners /managers are friendly and helpful in answering questions The breakfast is ok, but more variety would be nice. There is a parking lot, but it is only a few spaces There is free parking at the end of the street. I will stay here againagain if I'm in the area.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Not known to us that there is no staff at the premise, everything was self service. At first we had difficulty to find our room, message their staff via App, no response because it was after 3pm and the check in time is 3pm which doesn't make sense at all. Got to carry our luggage up via stairs. It is an Airbnb kind of business model. The room is huge but old, walking...

Very practical - but a touch too modern! Code locked doors - worked just fine until we had to leave room and then won't close. Had to revert to old fashioned key! But the idea is great! And the locked fridge as well - everything was well thought! Plentiful courtesy coffee and gift well appreciated!!

Nice place, very clean and practical. Free parking. No elevator though. You get codes to enter the building and your room. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We had a stop over and this was perfect. Nice walk to the charming center of the village, castle and it’s gardens.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay, after a long trip, with very kind, friendly and humble host. They even offered to make for us a warm pizza in case we arrived when the restaurant was already closed. The property is neat, spotless and easy to access. We highly recommend it.

Clean but in need of repair. Rather overpriced for what it is, and the restaurant is shnizel or pizza. Best thing about it is its the other side of the river so away from town noise. Also walking distance from the braugarten by the river where there is excellent and cheap real Bavarian food and beer

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! We loved this place and wished we had more than a one night stay booked. It’s beautifully done and sits over Würzburg where you can see the entire city. The breakfast was just what we needed before heading on to our next adventure and was amazing!

Very charming and perfectly located Hotel build on an old castle in Würzburg. The rooms are quit luxury and the food is delicious. Especialy the wine range is (which makes this city of Germany so famous for) great. The Hotel view is priceless, with a view over Würzburg and the illuminated Castle and city (evening) just on the other side of the river makes a stay all in all very confortable.

We stayed here for one night. The room was very hot and did not cool down at all. There is no airconditioning. Diner was great, breakfast was great, location was great, but the room was bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The suite was well appointed with a great view of downtown Würzburg. The service staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet.

This is a very nice hotel, modern, reasonably priced, with attentive service, and the room was great. I definitely recommend it, but it is a bit outside the historic center of town. Also, there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area. It's a ten to fifteen minute walk to get to busier area of town. If you don't mind walking then this is a great choice.

Room was ok for 3 people. Convenience location which not to far to walk to the city centre. There is a public parking opposite to the hotel.

The hotel was good, however, the room 510 (I guess) was cold and the air conditioner was noisy (even though it was not working...) I hope you can fix that and provide some cash return or discount.

Fabulous terrace for breakfast or late evening drinks. Bedroom needed updating but was clean and pleasant. Disappointed that our view was blocked totally by a tree and balcony was tiny when such a big deal was made of the balconies on the website. Also the bus service mentioned in the blurb is very limited at weekends.

As expected of a luxury hotel, the room was spacious and even had a bathtub, which is rare for a high-end European hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. The environment and space are good, and the hotel front desk service is also good. The location is very good, right by the river, very close to famous attractions. Worth recommending! It is very convenient to go there by car. It is a good choice for travel.

Everything is good, the only shortcoming (this shortcoming is quite big) is that the toilet is not divided into dry and wet areas, and the shower area has no partition, so when you take a shower, the toilet is full of water, which is very inconvenient. Everything else is good.

The service attitude was very good. It was inconvenient to visit the attractions with luggage, but the front desk also helped us see if we could check out later, and we could indeed check out later. Great!

Large room for 2 adults and a child, 2 children could also have slept on the sofa bed. Super clean and very quiet. Parking on the street in front of the hotel is free from Saturday 4 p.m. to Monday 9 a.m. Hotel's own parking garage costs 18 euros/24 hours Breakfast was small but everything was very fresh, tasty and sufficient!

Nice personal but hotel rooms need some renovations

Clean but small room, they forgot to stock towels thou, which wasnt tragic but something i havent seen before, since towels are usually overstocked. Service was nice, breakfast variation was ok. The location requires some footwork if you want public transportaion.

The City Hotel Meesenburg is close to the city center. It is affordable, located within a few blocks to the church; whose bells ring on a regular basis. That was a treat which I enjoyed from the hotel rooftop. The front room provided me with views of daily life transactions.The walls were not well insulated against noises from other guests. Central, good location by the Main and good breakfast included. The room can be a little cold but there are extra duvets available.

Easy and cheap, we have a three bed room which stayed Tightly, and with the Windows open relatively loud. But clean and with a private small bathroom. Overall, everything was very on in years, but the price/performance and location is okay. Breakfast was also mediocre.

Hotel central, clean, staff not very friendly. The room on the second floor, without elevator, with a shared bathroom. The breakfast is fairly low. One night in a double room for about € 75.

We stayed here for two nights. Overall the visit was okay. The room was clean but a bit narrow. The breakfast was as expected considering the price. The biggest issue we had were the toilets on the corridor without soap (some on them even without a sink)

A hotel in a magical part of Germany. A great base to explore explore the region. Breakfast is not to be missed. WŰRZBURG is a gem just waiting to be discovered.

We went as a party of six and felt cramped at the table. The chairs felt like they were going to break. The layout of the restaurant is very simple. The food was pretty good, but seemed slightly overpriced. The waiter was friendly. I would go again, but there are other restaurants in town I like better.

The hotel was very nice and clean but my room was located above the bar so it was noisy on the Saturday and Sunday evenings. I think it would have been better to have been in the upper floors.

Very nice hotel near city centre with a very friendly and helpful service team. The room was a little bit small, but since the hotel is in a very old building this is more than acceptable. Nice hotel for stay especially while traveling during pandemic. Not so far from Würzburg and not so expensive as in Würzburg City itself. Also reachable via public transportation.

Great small hotel. Recently refurbished with bar restaurant coming soon. Modern clean interior. Easy access to Würzburg by frequent bus from directly outside or taxi within 10mins. Great for working in Waldbuettelbrunn and surrounding area. Limited car parking - plan ahead.

It was impossible to sleep because every sound from the room above could be heard. Every step, the creaking of the floor – it was unbearable. I woke up irritated, and during the night, it was impossible to fall asleep due to the constant stomping overhead.

Wife and I spent 3 nights here Aug. 2022. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were typical "Euro small" compared to what we are used on in the USA, but -- as expected for Europe. Clean and comfy and zero issues. Have spent a night in a Central Hotel. Room 404. Small, renovated but functional and clean. Breakfast very good, everything available. The house is located very Central, car Park at 50 m distance. Adventurous Park way in the house, you must have seen.

The Hotel was good.Due to the Central location, it was in 5 minutes in the old town. From the train station it was about 15 Min. walk. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. To recommend for a Short city trip. Price-performance fit.

I stayed in the apartment "Goldberg". It's a a very spacious and clean apartment, warm and cosy in winter. However being right on the Haupstraße (main walking street in the old town of Heidelberg) it was quite noisy. That's to be expected of course - earplugs were provided during our stay.

Very nice by the river in Wurzburg

Arrived at 10.00am directly from a 22 hour international flight. Reception was friendly and efficient and managed to get us our air conditioned room early, a bonus as Germany was in the middle of a heatwave! Great location, literally minutes walk to great sights, food and the river. Lovely breakfast and consistently friendly staff. A very relaxing start to our European Holiday.

Everything was just fine. Had even a private garage for my motorbike. Wifi worked well. Good breakfast.

The breakfast was good. I reserved the room in this hotel and I paid a lot of money to enjoy the view but unfortunately the room had a very bad view and I asked if it is possible to change the room but the woman at the reception did not change it and she was very unfriendly. I think it should be a difference between room prices which have a nice view of Main and which have a very bad view like out...

Nice enough hotel. Kind of quirky on many levels. Good German breakfast. Responsive staff. When we complained about the a/c, it was fixed that day.

We were told the AC was not working when we arrived but would be fixed. That evening, we were told it was working. It was not, and when I questioned it, I was told it would be checked. It never worked in our 2 rooms all night and the clerk in the am argued with me that it did. They did nothing about the bill and this hotel was exactly twice the price of the one in Rothenburg. Not worth the price.

Room is very clean, quiet, and with friendly reception. Location is perfect. Just across the central station. Although the room is a bit small, but it is enough for single person. only provide shower gel and towel, be sure to bring your own shampoo.( the supermarket is very near. Not a problem at all.)

The rooms are a bit dated and the lack of air conditioning made the room a bit unbearable in the heat we experienced. The staff were really friendly and they did give us a fan (for a 10 euro deposit that you get back when you return the fan) which did help a bit. The rooms are basic with no air conditioning. No toiletries but the shower is nice. No outside ramp so you have to carry bags up 7-8 stairs. There is an elevator once inside. Staff is convivial.

My husband and I visited and stayed for two nights in Sept. 2024. We still talk about how great this place was!! The location is wonderful and walkable to the city’s landmarks. Parking was a little confusing at first (that may have been our fault as foreigners), but after getting in it was easy to come and go as we needed. You receive a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival, which was lovely....

Absolutely the best hotel in Würzburg. It’s one of those old fashioned places where everything is super thoughtful and has a real human touch. There’s wine to receive you when you arrive and super strong hot showers and delicious breakfast buffet. There’s also a really nice mix of modern and antique furniture and decor. 100% would recommend!

Friendly, clean, but walls were super thin. I understood every word of the (long) conversation next door, and they weren't even loud. Without earplugs no chance of getting a good rest.

Very difficult to find and no on sight parking. The hotel itself is alright. You get what you pay for and so if you are looking for the Ritz then go to the Ritz because this is not it.
