Fantastic Location right in the middle of beautiful Veitshöchheim! Free parking, excellent breakfast und super friendly staff. When I asked for a late check out as I had to join a video conference at short notice. That was not a problem. Extra ordinary, customer service!

I had a wonderful stay at the Wiesses Lamm. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect.

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was extremely clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We intend to return in the near future and will stay for longer to explore the area.

We were only able to stay one night but wish we had more. Hotel is wonderful and the Resturant was excellent as well! Can't say enough really, we loved it and hope to return soon for a longer stay.

If you look for atmosphere, quiet and location where you leave the place to walk, hike or jog (in essence for something different), look no further. And then, there is the library! The perfect hang-out to unwind. It is not what you are used from your standard North American hotel chain. Rooms are very clean, breakfast buffet is great. I am returning since 20 years, its well worth it.

Overall a very enjoyable stay at this quiet gem directly by the Main river. Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Loved the fact that it is certified organic and the library room is gorgeous. Clean rooms and comfy beds, too!

We were able to reserve rooms her for us and a friend. They were quiet flexible with us, allowing the friend to share a spot at the table for breakfast even though he was not a hotel guest( he paid for his breakfast of course 16 euro). Rooms were clean and tidy. Unfortunately no real dark curtains to prevent sunlight (bring a sleeping mask if that bothers you). One star less for the breakfast logistics...

Hotel am Main is in the perfect location. Steps away from a few charming cafes and a biergarten. We loved having drinks by the beautiful river and then strolling the lovely town. The hotel was clean, friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again.

Service was fine- the food is basically cafeteria style but the waiter brings it to you. I had the chicken and risotto with mushrooms. Obviously the chicken was pre cooked had been sitting in a hot pan waiting for someone to order it. I found it cooked to almost mush but edible with the risotto. Hubby ordered pork with radish and dumpling. He said it was fine.

I stayed here one night while traveling to Austria. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and nice beds. Breakfast was very extensive. The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.

Perfect place for visiting Veitshoechheim and the nearby city of Wuerzburg. Very friendly and clean. We will stay there again.

Property was clean and a spacious room. Room smelled like cigarette smoke even though there was a sign that stayed no smoking.

The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. We appreciated the free breakfast and parking. We were surprised that our room wasn’t cleaned on the one day we were there and that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

I would say that it is a regular hotel with high prices.Room was located on the roof level,not very spacious but relatively clean.Defenetely I would choose another hotel in Wuerzburg area ,but was one of the few available .

I stayed here for 1 night in september 2022. The room had a quiet location and the room was clean. I slept well here. There is a small selection for brekafast, but it will fill you up. The rooms are not airconditioned.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay, after a long trip, with very kind, friendly and humble host. They even offered to make for us a warm pizza in case we arrived when the restaurant was already closed. The property is neat, spotless and easy to access. We highly recommend it.

Average. Sometimes really good. Sometimes really bad. Don't know why and it also depends on the kind of food ordered. Alcoholic beverages are fine though.

Clean but in need of repair. Rather overpriced for what it is, and the restaurant is shnizel or pizza. Best thing about it is its the other side of the river so away from town noise. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Not known to us that there is no staff at the premise, everything was self service. At first we had difficulty to find our room, message their staff via App, no response because it was after 3pm and the check in time is 3pm which doesn't make sense at all. Very practical - but a touch too modern! Code locked doors - worked just fine until we had to leave room and then won't close. Had to revert to old fashioned key! But the idea is great! And the locked fridge as well - everything was well thought! Plentiful courtesy coffee and gift well appreciated!!

Nice place, very clean and practical. Free parking. No elevator though. You get codes to enter the building and your room. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We had a stop over and this was perfect. Nice walk to the charming center of the village, castle and it’s gardens.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! We loved this place and wished we had more than a one night stay booked. It’s beautifully done and sits over Würzburg where you can see the entire city. The breakfast was just what we needed before heading on to our next adventure and was amazing!

Very charming and perfectly located Hotel build on an old castle in Würzburg. The rooms are quit luxury and the food is delicious. Especialy the wine range is (which makes this city of Germany so famous for) great. The Hotel view is priceless, with a view over Würzburg and the illuminated Castle and city (evening) just on the other side of the river makes a stay all in all very confortable.

The hotel was great, but in the refrigerator was mold, thats why 4 stars. Everything was great, clean room, clean bathroom, clean bed and great air condition. Breakfast was very good, very big variation. Except from the refregirator, everything was great.

We stayed for just one night but we were surprised by all the details they offered... Like treats for our dogs or even being allowed to have a big beer as the welcome drink, which is not even possible in most luxury Accor properties. Breakfast was amazing and the team is phenomenal.

This is a very nice hotel, modern, reasonably priced, with attentive service, and the room was great. I definitely recommend it, but it is a bit outside the historic center of town. Also, there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area. It's a ten to fifteen minute walk to get to busier area of town. If you don't mind walking then this is a great choice.

Modern Nostalgia This small hotel was perfect for our stay. Perfectly located for easy walking to the main streets, but not on a busy/loud street. The inside was a mix of modern industrial with a 1970’s overlay including shag carpeting and a VW mini bus. So fun and very comfortable. The breakfast was good as well.

A nice and extraordinary hotel situated conveniently in Würzburg centre with an amazing breakfast buffet offering quite some very special and delicious hand-made things. Parking is close by, but unfortunately rather expensive.

Hotel was pretty good, clean, and had really beautiful view; but the breakfast was awful! Few personnel(they were tired and really slow), more than 5 min should wait for refilling food! When we arrived most of plates was empty (no bread, no scramble eggs, no bacon, no jam, ...). Room was too busy and everybody waited for refilling. In total unacceptable breakfast.

Fabulous terrace for breakfast or late evening drinks. Bedroom needed updating but was clean and pleasant. Disappointed that our view was blocked totally by a tree and balcony was tiny when such a big deal was made of the balconies on the website. Also the bus service mentioned in the blurb is very limited at weekends.

From the station, it's just a one-stop bus or tram ride. The hotel is located in a quiet area and is conveniently close to the Alte Mainbrücke (Old Main Bridge), so I highly recommend it!

A bit outdated but a lot of character. Super clean and a very courteous staff. Kind of reminded me of a ski hotel in the Alps I used to stay at in the 80s. I guess you could say “nostalgic“. Good location This is our third time staying at this hotel as it is perfectly positioned for travelling between Hungary and Rotterdam. Friendly reception, easy check in and nice room but it was so hot. The rooms could do with at least a fan in when it’s this hot. The toilet flush needs to be repaired too as it trickled all night.

Hotel staff from reception to room service ladies and restaurant staff were friendly and approachable. Greets with a smile and polite. This hotel was great. We were two American tourists only staying for one night. We appreciated the heat and AC in the room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a standard European size bathroom. The breakfast had a great selection and was worth the price in our opinion. We would stay here again!

It's not easy to find, and then get parking across the street, but the hotel is great. It's comfortable and clean and has all the necessities. The view was spectacular of the river. There are plenty of places to walk to to see.

I stayed in the apartment "Goldberg". It's a a very spacious and clean apartment, warm and cosy in winter. However being right on the Haupstraße (main walking street in the old town of Heidelberg) it was quite noisy. That's to be expected of course - earplugs were provided during our stay.

The location is so incredibly central - right next to the Christmas Market. Perfect for our long weekend stay with friends

Nice enough hotel. Kind of quirky on many levels. Good German breakfast. Responsive staff. When we complained about the a/c, it was fixed that day.

We were told the AC was not working when we arrived but would be fixed. That evening, we were told it was working. It was not, and when I questioned it, I was told it would be checked. It never worked in our 2 rooms all night and the clerk in the am argued with me that it did. They did nothing about the bill and this hotel was exactly twice the price of the one in Rothenburg. Not worth the price.

The room is quite spacious for Europe standard and well maintained despite the hotel certainly have quite a long history. It's a very good stay. The only little issue is the noise from the traffic on the road which is unavoidable due to its proximity to the train station. However...

Close to the Banhof, friendly staff, but meh. We wanted a hotel close to the train station, and it was indeed very close to the train station. So for that it served our purpose. The beds and pillows weren’t comfortable in our opinion, and no air flow in the room made us both too hot to sleep with a blanket and too cold to sleep without one. Very difficult to find and no on sight parking. The hotel itself is alright. You get what you pay for and so if you are looking for the Ritz then go to the Ritz because this is not it. This lovely small hotel is in a good position between the main train station and Wurzburg Old Town. Therefore it is near restaurants, wine taverns, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very small but nice hotel in the heart of the city, painted in fresh apple green and warm red colors. The rooms are clean and all good, the beds/mattresses cosy. Awesome breakfast buffet! Unfortunately no extra parking lots.

I had a single person, street-facing room on the second floor. It was lovely. Own bathroom and shower, table, TV, wifi. Windows are double-glazed, and have a roller shutter to keep out the heat, cold and noise. The landlady is friendly and helpful. This hotel can be paid with a card, or the ubiquitous cash. Breakfast can be booked in advance (if there are no other guests) for an additional EUR...

Service was fine, location was fine. Rooms were spacious but right outside the room there was a bar that was open in the evening and it was very disturbing with small children, breakfast was very embarrassing, it is not recommended to have breakfast there - breakfast score 0.

The room has no air conditioning, other things are ok

Very convenient location but it was also very loud all night. The building smelled, as did the bathroom, but we had plenty of space to house our family for the night. We enjoyed the terrace with a lovely view. The breakfast we paid for left a lot to be desired, as the apples were rotten and there wasn't much to go around.

Hotel is ok. Just because no front desk, you’ll have to call hot line for all questions and needs. And the door code at the front door sometimes not working. So I was hesitate to go out in the morning and evening.
