They came to check it out, but they didn't finish it.
What a shame.
The location is great.
The view was great, and the food was delicious.
The rooms are quit luxury and the food is delicious. Especialy the wine range is (which makes this city of Germany so famous for) great. The Hotel view is priceless, with a view over Würzburg and the illuminated Castle and city (evening) just on the other side of the river makes a stay all in all very confortable.
The service is abysmal. I ordered a birthday cake for my husband, which the hotel said would cost me €75, but they presented us with a frozen, dry strawberry cake. It was inedible, so we returned it. At checkout, we paid €65 for it.
The swimming pool is very old and in desperate need of renovation.
While our room was pretty, the washroom was a hole in the wall, especially the shower cabin, which also had mold.
