Hotel opened in 1972, renovated in 1998. In this mini-hotel 49 rooms, 3 floors.
Policies and conditions
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 3 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 4 years old to 17 years old stay for € 30 per person per night when using an existing bed.
People 4 years old and over stay for € 30 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

The location is so incredibly central - right next to the Christmas Market. Perfect for our long weekend stay with friends

The hotel is centrally located in the pedestrian zone and within close walking distance to everything the city has to offer however the service there is terrible. The internet does not work in the entire hotel including the rooms. The rooms themselves seem to be at least 20-30 year old condition and needs updating badly. I had to request to be moved from my rooms as the electrical outlets did not work. There is nothing in this hotel that merits a 4 star rating.

4 days I had the limited pleasure in attacking Steiner Hof, Würzburg, guest. Who gets the room no. 337, the pays I for a youth hostel, bude 109€ per night for 2 separate beds in the size of 80 x 200 cm. The tiny bathroom has a size of approx 60 x 180 cm. Who wants to have a shower, takes time, because the shower head gives only sparse water.
On the first night the heating did not work. Moving inside the house. Then retreat, there was a bottle of wine. Also at Breakfast you should bring patience. There were too few staff and too little space on the weekend, on Monday there was just too few staff.
Noisy, rumbling Elevator noise with noticeable vibration, you should be able to endure, because the room is located opposite of one of the small elevators.
Conclusion: staff do not be fooled about the bad price-performance ratio.

The Hotel is awesome conveniently located directly on the marketplace. Rooms in the sprawling house is not new, but absolutely OK and clean. Service is very good. Cuisine (i.e. the food). Service, however, totally messy and unprofessional. This destroys an otherwise very good impression, at the latest, at the welcoming dinner!

We were over new year's eve a guest here. A beautiful Hotel, very nice staff, but sometimes a bit disorganized. The kitchen is very good! The location is fantastic, directly in the middle of the old town. The Hotel has various venues, including the Bar "Markt 7", which is really nice to drink Evening Cocktails.

Beautiful Hotel right in the centre with friendly staff and good kitchen. Was here a few years ago with my tour group in the advent time. Have also had a great dinner.

Central location directly in the city. Rooms are equipped with modern facilities. Good Breakfast. Nice Service.

Room nice, everything hangs a little bit old-fashioned, BUT on weekends the Bar has a DJ, unfortunately, you will then be given before 3 o'clock in the morning. Complaints have not helped.

Wit sit here and wait for 1.5 hours on the food...plus drink's are long since empty & no Service in sight...
