Hotel Ambiente Walldorf

Issue with the room 330:
The toilet is not usable, it is installed almost at the height of an urinal.
The shower curtain ends approx.. 5-10 cm above the floor, after use of the shower, the entire bathroom is wet and the guest has to wipe the floor in order not to step into water.
It looks like it is designed for handicapped people, however, I can’t picture a handicapped person climbing on the toilet.

Issue with the staff:
I was contacted at the day of arrival to confirm my arrival. Unfortunately I was not informed about the unusable toilet, so the option to look for another hotel was taken from me. At arrival at 10pm, this was not possible anymore.
I asked for another room in the same hotel, but I was told there is no other option for me.
When asking for a refund the next day, the front desk employee reacted in the most unprofessional way possible. She suggested in an arrogant way that the problem was with me, as other guest have not complained before. Further she declared herself not for being in charge to handle the complaint nor bothered to get a responsible employee. She just offered to pass on my request to the management.

The management replied two days later in the same way and explained that the problem is with me not liking the room, i.e. is committed to the observed poor communication and disrespectful customer treatment.
