Hotel Helgoländer Klassik in Helgoland

Helgoländer Klassik Hotel. The reception for the hotel is not at the hotel and a small paper just on the hotel door is showing where to find the reception. The reception guy was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I asked if the room could be with sea view and he just said ‘you get what you have booked’. I don’t feel welcome here. Hotels for me are welcoming guests and pampering guest. The feel good factor is missing completely and definitely this hotel is not telling a story neither is it stylish. Entrance of Hotel is a construction place and very unpleasant. This hotel is not a hotel, it’s just rooms. Staircase not nice. My room is street view , 1 st floor, and everyone can look inside. Bad view. Unpleasant room with bad taste and old furniture. The quality, the service and the staff friendliness is bad for the price we are paying. Can’t recommend and won’t ever come back here. I am even thinking to claim money back for misleading description and communication.
