I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

Overall very basic rooms clean and neat & good value for money. Great and friendly staff. Surprised where found out only two set duvets as I booked for 2 adults and child and same with breakfast seems there was some communication error between Accor and hotel. Anyway price reflected everything.

Not bad for a cheap hotel. Even had lager in vending machines which was a big bonus as it was very hot and I was travelling on my motorcycle. Clean and fairly quiet apart from Hungarian truck drivers drinking beer outside of the hotel, but in all honesty couldn't blame them as the temp was over 30 Celsius and would've joined them if I knew any Hungarian hahhaha.

Room was nice, but: It is very difficult to find the hotel, using the street address in the GPS. There is no lift and i my room was at 3rd floor. Wi-Fi was very slow and it didn't work all night long (cheked with laptop and smartphone).

Nice City Hotel Nice location, great breakfast, and a comfy room. Very clean except some dark corners in the shower stall, and the bed linens were so clean that their smell of detergent was a bit overpowering. The room was a bit dark, with no light by the bed - but I grabbed a floor lamp from the hallway that solved the issue.

We booked this hotel last minute on the way to Poland. We only paid £40 a night and were pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel. Room was fairly clean, the bedding and towels were nice and fresh.Polite and friendly stuff. Very close to the transit motorway,so if you looking for a break in your journey this is the place. We’ve booked this hotel last minute on the way to UK just to sleep overnight and were very nicely surprised. Generously sized and clean room, friendly hotel staff and amazing breakfast! Definitely recommend.

I had a good stay at this hotel. Rooms were a little dated but suited the building. Boasts sky tv but have very little channels. Breakfast buffet was a winner. Cold items were kept in fridges. Weirdly enough this is not the same for other German hotels that I have stayed in. Had a good nights sleep.

Breakfast is still the same as it was a few years ago. The difference is that the homemade waffle machine is gone, but there is a bread machine, which is not bad. In addition, the sparkling water in the room is 3.5€.

Friendly welcome. Check-in was quick. Room is neat and clean. No coffee/tea in the room, but in the photos. Housekeeping on request. Real key. The hallway is a bit noisy and sometimes some noise from other rooms. Excellent breakfast times. There is enough choice but miss whole wheat bread to cut yourself. Conveniently located at Westfield Mall and close to highways.

I remember this Hotel, had stayed here a few years ago when I went for Drupa, my stay comfortable, Nice and Happy, they have a nice bar and lovely environment, beautifull surroundings, Ruhur Park A very hugh and a large area for shopping/movies etc is very near to the hotel.

We were together for 1 night (23.07.16) in this Hotel and were very impressed! Very quiet and well maintained location of the hotel!! Spacious and modern rooms. Also, a nice and modern bathroom. After a long drive from Calais, I was pleasantly pleased to pull up the hotel. Very friendly lady on reception quickly booked me in. My room is spotlessly clean but not modern but I'd prefer clean over modern and dirty every day. The restaurant was busy but squeezed me in to a very tasty meal with a waitress helping to translate the menu into English. Come and stay and not be disappointed

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

It is very clean and the breakfast buffet is very nice. But is too far away from the city center... I didn't check the map carefully before booking so I had to walk for a long distance and took the S bahn.

Stayed there for about a week, loved this place! Very conveniently located with both side entries from the Viktoriastraße and the Bermuda Triangle, walkable from Bochum Hauptbahnhaf. Neatly minimally decorated rooms with everything exactly where they should be, in a white peaceful colour scheme. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is great, they serve fantastic breakfast! Never stayed here but spent a few hours at the bar, which is also the reception. Friendly service and good beer, can recommend the local Bernstein beer.
