I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

Great place to stay! We stopped here for a night last weekend along our bicycle tour and were well impressed. The rooms are big and modernly equipped. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and staff is friendly and quick.

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

We were together for 1 night (23.07.16) in this Hotel and were very impressed! Very quiet and well maintained location of the hotel!! Spacious and modern rooms. Also, a nice and modern bathroom. The Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. The price for the double room, incl. To second Breakfast, was 93 euros, which is cheap, but adequate. Back for more ;-)

The hotel is very close to the railway station. It is is quite new (2 years old now), rooms are very modern and clean. The staff was helpful, but please remember that reception closes at 20. Of course there is a wifi connection all over the place

After a long drive from Calais, I was pleasantly pleased to pull up the hotel. Very friendly lady on reception quickly booked me in. My room is spotlessly clean but not modern but I'd prefer clean over modern and dirty every day. The restaurant was busy but squeezed me in to a very tasty meal with a waitress helping to translate the menu into English. Come and stay and not be disappointed

Good hotel in centre of Bochum. We've been there for one night and all was good. Worker in reception can speak English. Rooms are clear but one thing that didn't satisfied us that was size of bathroom, it was too small and I think if closet was not so huge it has more space for bathroom. I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

I always enjoy staying at the Drees Hotel because the overall picture is very consistent. The hotel is in a very good location. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the downtown pedestrian street for shopping and dining. The waiter is very nice and the breakfast selection is moderate. The only biggest problem is that the room lacks an electric kettle. Although the room is small, it is very clean and well-equipped, especially the bathroom.
