We were there to gather for my father’s 90th. and we got exceptional service. They made us all feel welcomed and comfortable. The entire staff is professional and willing to work to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Loved it

The facilities are average. Anyway, foreign hotels can't be compared with domestic ones. I booked an executive room, but I don't know if they arranged an executive room for me. Anyway, it was a very small room.

Great hotel! Has private parking. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms were great, with a nice balcony. There isn’t much in the lobby or any amenities in the hotel. The restaurant was good. AnaIng value for money. What we liked the most - you have 15% discount for a lot of restaurants, and also getting 2 welcome drinks. Recommended.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are small but new, and the amenities are great. The location is near the monument 12 minute walk. Be sure to go to sleep early because the motorcycles and cars beeping their horns will begin promptly at 0430. As well as the motorcycles racing up an empty street with loud pipes. The breakfast is top notch, simply delicious.

The service is pretty good and very welcoming.

This is a very nice hotel near the city center. I stayed there on two separate occasions. There is a new section where the rooms are completely renovated and have balconies, which is very nice. The old section room I was in was not renovated and did not have any windows. Service was great and the location was great so if you spend the night there ask for a room with a balcony. It is clean, tidy and bright, the service of each staff is sincere and comfortable, and the price is affordable. There is a small restaurant on the sixth floor where you can dine at a cheap price. The location is located outside the city center. The traffic noise is a bit loud. It is not suitable for those who need quiet. It is close to the Heroes Monument and can be reached within 10 minutes on foot

Low security at the parking lots, my car it was scratched and they did not inform me.I paid us500 dollars for.

The property was very nice the Cosino was very nice. Walking around felt unsafe and there was nothing to see on that location.

Secure parking, very nice staff, excellent included A la Carte breakfast, low price compared to many other options. Only issue was that in the bathroom the shower cabin was too small for my size and weight.

It was quiet and clean. The ladies at the front desk are not friendly but gentlemen that work after midnight are very friendly and give excellent customer service. The property is outdated and needs upkeep but it’s clean and functional.

Historic landmark, a bit worn down The hotel is all right. Breakfast only available from 7.30 am, not ideal for a work trip. The ****** is not operating and looks like something out of a 70s horror movie. But the Chinese restaurant next door is great and good value.

Met our expectations for a place to stay close to the monument.

Not much to do around the area and there are rumors of it being in a not so good area of Santiago. I would challenge that claim since I walled all over the place even at dark without feeling any kind of threat. There is a very excellent Chinese restaurant next door which I highly recommend. Wonderful food at reasonable price. Beautiful views and good service. Lamb in coconut rice was delicious (see photo), the Tortilla soup was spicy and yummy. Grilled Octopus was fresh. We ordered 5 dishes and 5 out of 5 dishes were excellent.

If you encounter a dirt road on your way up DO NOT PROCEED - google map takes you through roads that can only be accessed with an ATV. Use Waze instead. Now my review: slightly underwhelming taste based on my order. I wouldn’t consider it overpriced due to the type of restaurant it is but do agree that prices are higher than average in the city. The hotel isn't anything to write home about, but the service is great and the food was very good. The corn cream, pulpo, breakfast items like their traditional DR brekkie or chilaquiles were all tasty and well made. The only thing I ordered that didn't wow was their ribeye, but perhaps that's just my spoiled American talking.

The hostel is very comfortable

Extremely clean, very helpful and friendly staff, and great room. The room was recently updated and was perfect for two people. It was an easy walk to the store, restaurants, and a decent walk to the monument. Will 100% stay here whenever I'm in Santiago.

Cannot speak highly enough of El Emilia! The front desk staff is so kind and accommodating. The rooms are simple but clean and comfy with great ac. The included breakfast is delicious on the open air patio. It's peaceful and quiet, perfect for a few nights en route to your final destination! Very affordable as well!

I stayed here because my dentist is next door. It was a good stay with clean rooms private bathroom and beautiful atmosphere. Continental Breakfast is included or a small fee for American, Domincan or other options. Coffee was always available.

Affordable and convient place to airport however the next morning I woke up my car battery was stolen :-( on the good note, the owner replaced my battery within minutes of discovering.

Excellent place to stay on a business trip, great customer service

It is a very acceptable hotel for the Location. But you have to understand there’s no inside parking. The breakfast in the morning is served on the top floor, which makes it really interesting. The food is local variety only. The Hotel is at less than 1 min walk to the Plaza International, which has nothing to envy a US mall.

Our stay was good over all. The staff was nice and accommodating. We had great breakfast in the morning. Just make sure to get there on time. The bathroom was a bit on the tight side but we made it work since it was just for two adults. Nice balcony with our room but a little noisy since it’s on the side of a busy street. No elevators for convince with luggage which kinda sucked. No help with our luggage...

Everything and everyone was great

Staff is beyond accommodating. This hotel is ok. We stayed for a quick stop being that we had a midnight arrival flight. I stayed with my 7mo. old. Not too kid friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the king-size bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom was small. Overall, the hotel is fine for the price, and I would stay there again if I were visiting this area again.

It was my fourth time staying at Casa Jum. When driving from New York with the night flight, we land at 2 AM, and spending the night in Santiago is most convenient. The hostel staff will communicate with you in advance about your arrival time, so the night guard was aware. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, there is hot water and AC in all rooms. Showers in certain items in the bathroom were not fully complete due to construction water will get everywhere. There was no pools. The hotel was under renovation and there was a lot of noise while sleeping through the construction.

The room is large, the lighting is bright, and there is a small terrace on the roof. It is very cost-effective.

Actually it was the best place I have stayed during my vacations in the DR. It's run by a family which is very friendly and helpful. Contact them directly to get a better quote than on the usual booking sites ;)

My family and I stood over at this place and it was awesome. The hospitality was very welcoming. The location was perfect since it is near the center of the city. The area is very safe and clean as well as the house. I highly recommend this spot.
