Hodelpa Gran Almirante, Santiago1 / 29
Santiago, Avenida Salvador E. Sadhala 🧭 Map
I been staying here for a while and I have to say that I'm so happy with the staff specially one cleaning lady. Her name is Yajaira. This woman is just amazing. I only had to leave a note once explaining how I like the bathroom and bed to be and since then it's been just perfect. In the details you can see that Yajaira really cares about the guest of the hotel. Even if she sees me walking in the hallways...
Last weekend I stayed at this hotel and I liked it very much especially its view of the city is beautiful, it is central, incredible attention, it is in the city and its location is perfect. I liked the place very much without a doubt I could return without thinking about it if I have to stay again in the city of Santiago.
Wow what an experience! I’ve stayed in many hotels and resorts especially in Dominican Republic. I can truly say this hotel is top notch. The quality in everything from rooms, bathrooms, service, all has been amazing. As soon as you walk in, everyone is glowing with smiles. The food was great at the restaurant too. We needed an airport shuttle at 5:40am and will miss breakfast but they provided us...
This hotel is located on a busy street and right across from T.G.I.F restaurant. It is a beautiful hotel with a lovely outdoor infinity pool. The food is delicious and the bar is excellent. This is my go to hotel when I'm in Santiago. Service, Food and location are all great.
I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it for others too. I stayed here for two nights and received excellent service. In the morning I went down and had a delicious breakfast, the fruit was the best quality I’ve since I was in Brazil two years ago. I loved the breakfast so much that I came back to try their lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Pedro, Hilary, and Yadilka took great care of me,...
I would not stay here if I had a choice. Rooms are ok and breakfast too in general but the walls and doors are not soundproof so you hear everything; after breakfast you better change your clothes as it is soaked with kitchen odors.

The hotel is right off the highway so getting in and out is very easy. The rooms are huge and the beds are minimum queen size. The only issue I have is the TV, the TV is super annoying that it’s so frustrating to change channels and even to turn it off I had to completely unplug it. The service is great and room service is until 11pm. There are car parking areas and the pool is of decent size. Bathroom...
we stay at the Hotel for 1 week, the service is amazing. Miguel Angele Lajara offer a excellent service in the breakfast area. the Cleaning lady let the room perfectly fine. The pool area always offer clean towels. Its a family place.
I booked a dozen rooms for a large group. The staff was very accommodating and gave us great service. All the common areas were very nice and well-kept. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the management was exceptional, especially in arranging airport shuttles for such a large group. I will return in the future.
The perfect place to stay when having a late flight with your family ✈️ I loved this hotel, the service, the staff and a peaceful and calm atmosphere. The cafecito ☕️ in the morning was the best.
Employees are the best, I love the front desk, Jean, Martinez, room service, chef's, great food, we stayed 3 time per year with them, I will not go anywhere else
If you need a decent hotel near the airport this one is good. They do have a nice breakfast and the pool area looked nice. Unfortunately no hot water during my stay and I’m not sure if this was normal or an equipment issue.

Great hotel! Has private parking. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms were great, with a nice balcony. There isn’t much in the lobby or any amenities in the hotel. The restaurant was good. AnaIng value for money. What we liked the most - you have 15% discount for a lot of restaurants, and also getting 2 welcome drinks. Recommended.
The hotel is nice. Rooms are small but new, and the amenities are great. The location is near the monument 12 minute walk. Be sure to go to sleep early because the motorcycles and cars beeping their horns will begin promptly at 0430. As well as the motorcycles racing up an empty street with loud pipes. The breakfast is top notch, simply delicious.
This is a very nice hotel near the city center. I stayed there on two separate occasions. There is a new section where the rooms are completely renovated and have balconies, which is very nice. The old section room I was in was not renovated and did not have any windows. Service was great and the location was great so if you spend the night there ask for a room with a balcony. Pictures posted below...
Very nice big clean rooms and bathrooms. Modern and bright. Food at the the restaurant is amazing! Big portions, delicious and reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet is really good. Excellent service overall. The hotel Taxi driver Emanuel is very helpful and can help you get around town. Thank you for keeping me safe and on time for my appointments! I'll come back for sure! Thank you.
My recent stay at Centro Plaza was overall pleasant, despite a few drawbacks. The staff, particularly the bellboy Juan, provided exceptional service, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. While the hotel's location on a bustling street contributed to constant external noise, Juan and the rest of the staff ensured that any inconvenience was minimized through their attentiveness and professionalism...
As American tourists both my wife and I were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. The rooms and the entire facility are pristine clean, our housekeeper Yanilka Ramos was very professional, fast, and made our room perfect. For us there is no reason to stay anywhere else in Santiago. We will be back!

Nice place, has a small casino, night club next door. Great service from all staff. Armed guards at night.
This place is very comfortable for me. The location is convenient, the staff are very helpful, and the breakfast is really good!
Jennifer Wow! What a beautiful, wonderful and amazing trip that I had while staying at Platino Hotel & Casino. When I first came to the hotel I was greeted by the most amazing person in the world, Jennifer is one of the most amazing people that you have ever seen. She is a very helpful person when it comes to her guests, especially those who travel internationally. Cesarina When I met Cesarina she...
If you choose a hotel instead of a resort... this is the best. Or closeone... good price. Center of santiago city, good parking. Decent service. I will go again.
A budget hotel with an excellent customer service. Private parking is available. The rooms are practical to spend a night or two, outdated but does the job and they are very very cleaned. The breakfast is included and is awesome, lunch and dinner has extra cost and is delicious. The place is quiet and nice. I will visit this place again.
Needs a major renovation. The rooms are small and have a horrible bed. The lighting in the rooms feels like you are in a community hospital. Please renovate soon. The location is great. There are a few places you can walk to that are safe and good food.

I stayed at this hotel for about 13 days starting February 14th 2022. I enjoyed every single moment of it. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi are provided. They cleaned my room everyday and provided me with extra towels, soaps whenever needed. They will also exchange for you up to $500.00 into Dominican pesos. The staff is really nice; especially Mr. John Angel Reyes. I highly recommend this hotel if you...
I only visited the restaurant and I was nicely surprised by the ambiance. Loved the wooden ceiling. It's apparently also a cigar aficionados favorite. Food was good and cheap. I waited more than the average but the place was full and I think they supply the hotel and outside orders. Their menu is mostly criollo (local). I'll definitely go back there. No 5 stars because they need More waiters.
Service and food. But a night you can't sleep because downstairs the music and people talking so loud. The owner when he drinks get too loud with his friends. No a great place if want rest.

A great experience! Fantastic service! A great location, near the best restaurants and night spots. And the history of the building is fascinating!
I visited the Chinese restaurant Jade. Excellent food and service inside or outside. Part of the National Chain Jade.

Amazing atmosphere and the owners and the employees are really nice people. They will do anything to make you feel comfortable!!
Great place for a weekend getaway! The surroundings are beautiful and the views are breath-taking. This is a family administered place, so they make you feel like home since day 1. Since it's surrounded by many trees, some bugs are expected but this is not reason for the 4 stars rating. The pool, although very cool, needs some rework. The place has WiFi which was a surprise for a place in the mountains...

Wonderful food at reasonable price. Beautiful views and good service. Lamb in coconut rice was delicious (see photo), the Tortilla soup was spicy and yummy. Grilled Octopus was fresh. We ordered 5 dishes and 5 out of 5 dishes were excellent.
If you encounter a dirt road on your way up DO NOT PROCEED - google map takes you through roads that can only be accessed with an ATV. Use Waze instead. Now my review: slightly underwhelming taste based on my order. I wouldn’t consider it overpriced due to the type of restaurant it is but do agree that prices are higher than average in the city. Menu is big with lots of choices and the view is beautiful...
The hotel isn't anything to write home about, but the service is great and the food was very good. The corn cream, pulpo, breakfast items like their traditional DR brekkie or chilaquiles were all tasty and well made. The only thing I ordered that didn't wow was their ribeye, but perhaps that's just my spoiled American talking.

Actually it was the best place I have stayed during my vacations in the DR. It's run by a family which is very friendly and helpful. Contact them directly to get a better quote than on the usual booking sites ;)
My family and I stood over at this place and it was awesome. The hospitality was very welcoming. The location was perfect since it is near the center of the city. The area is very safe and clean as well as the house. I highly recommend this spot.

Extremely clean, very helpful and friendly staff, and great room. The room was recently updated and was perfect for two people. It was an easy walk to the store, restaurants, and a decent walk to the monument. Will 100% stay here whenever I'm in Santiago.

Nice cozy little B&B with only 4 rooms. Rooms are a nice size room 2 has a large walk-in closet area with person restroom. Full size beds with clean linen. Cannot speak highly enough of El Emilia! The front desk staff is so kind and accommodating. The rooms are simple but clean and comfy with great ac. The included breakfast is delicious on the open air patio. It's peaceful and quiet, perfect for a few nights en route to your final destination! Very affordable as well!
I stayed here because my dentist is next door. It was a good stay with clean rooms private bathroom and beautiful atmosphere. Continental Breakfast is included or a small fee for American, Domincan or other options. Coffee was always available.
Affordable and convient place to airport however the next morning I woke up my car battery was stolen :-( on the good note, the owner replaced my battery within minutes of discovering.
Food is amazing. Clean and quiet. Staff is nice. Every and anything you need is walking distance and not tourist area. Will be coming back next year!
Alex, the owner is attentive and his hostess, Lucy was extremely hospitable. Sorry, but good customer service is hard to find in this country and he's found a great person. The rooms are very clean, simple, cozy and my husband loved the firm mattress and pillows. I slept like a baby. No street noise, even though it's in a busy area. That's a blessing. It is a very acceptable hotel for the Location. But you have to understand there’s no inside parking. The breakfast in the morning is served on the top floor, which makes it really interesting. The food is local variety only. The Hotel is at less than 1 min walk to the Plaza International, which has nothing to envy a US mall.
Our stay was good over all. The staff was nice and accommodating. We had great breakfast in the morning. Just make sure to get there on time. The bathroom was a bit on the tight side but we made it work since it was just for two adults. Nice balcony with our room but a little noisy since it’s on the side of a busy street. No elevators for convince with luggage which kinda sucked. No help with our luggage...

Very nice gem in the middle of normaldom. Very clean. Very quiet. Staff very accommodating. On a cul-de-sac. Nice water pressure. Check it out.
Reasonably priced basic room in guest house which is located in a nice, safe area. The room was clean and breakfast is included with the nightly rate. Convenient on street parking.
Wow. Best shower I ever had. Great hot water and pressure. Better than home in the US. Nice. Clean.
I love this place very cozy. Please increase WiFi speed and strength. I would love to work from here.
