When we handed over the room key, we told Mr. Jordi Carrera that the room had problems with the window seal, which caused annoying wind noises during the night that kept us awake. After midnight, despite the constant and annoying noise that kept us awake all night, it was difficult to go down and ask for a room change or some other solution. It was a rather uncomfortable situation. I think that before handing over the rooms they should do one more check, knowing that Cadaqués can have strong winds every day. When we filed the complaint, the attached sheet in item 4 indicates “request by the consumer” in which compensation was requested. To which Mr. Jordi immediately addressed us in an aggressive manner, raising his voice, calling us liars, even though we showed a video from the previous night and went up to corroborate our version in the room at that time. After an uncomfortable situation, he called us “faces”, we suffered shouting, mistreatment and humiliation in front of other people. When we decided to leave, so as not to put up with this situation any longer, he followed us out onto the street where he continued shouting. We thought that it was a serious three-star hotel, as they say, and the price per night is quite high to think that they do not have the minimum conditions in terms of comfort to receive passengers. We left without being able to discuss the mistreatment by the employee as appropriate. It is a bit difficult to mediate and find solutions in such tones. We are a couple who were on our honeymoon and we travelled from Barcelona. We find this situation absolutely humiliating, out of place and we are totally against the mistreatment suffered. We do not think that this is the way to treat your clients in any of the cases or for any situation that has occurred. We will not return and we do not recommend it.
