This isn’t a 4 star hotel, avoid at all costs. Rooms and mouldy and smell of damp, had to move rooms 3 times, all were as bad as each other. Had to argue to the manager who couldn’t understand I didn’t want to sleep in a mouldy room. He thought he had resolved the issue as he ‘upgraded’ me to a ‘sea view’ room. This room looked out over the messy bin area, and I was awoken each morning (the earliest being 4.15am) to bin lorries emptying the bins. Manager tried to force me to sign something so I wouldn’t complain to Jet2. Did absolutely nothing to try to ensure I enjoyed my holiday, just said this is the standard of the hotel. You can tell the manager isn’t bothered from the responses he leaves on these reviews. Couldn’t close (let alone lock) my balcony door as it was broken. The air con make a banging noise when you turned it on. They charge €6 a night for the use of your room safe! In a room you can’t close/lock a balcony door! No water pressure for the hot water tap and the shower goes from freezing cold to scolding intermittently. Rooms/hotel is just genuinely run down, things don’t work, mould spread throughout the hotel, water dripping from the ceiling in the canteen. Gym is poor quality and the sauna doesn’t work. Poor choice of food and food isn’t labelled so it’s a nightmare if you have allergens. Only one bar open most of the time, the pool bar was never open so you had to walk 2 storeys to get a drink. Entertainment each night is bingo and the day activities are poor, like darts or table tennis. They clearly just rely on the location and hope you don’t notice how awful the hotel is. Genuinely the worst holiday I’ve ever been on.
